I've read a few reviews that said fair priced! I disagree! First they charge $150 for the diag which is more than the dealership, then they over quoted the repair. I told them I needed a new valve cover gasket. A week later he tells me it'll be $1,580.00 to reseal the valve covers. Most owners I've talked to since have had the same repair done between $400 and $700. He probably does good work but I will never know at that price.A week after picking the vehicle up, I popped the hood and torque the valve cover bolts (a couple were loose) and NO MORE LEAK! So this joker was gonna charge me over $1500 for something that took me 10 minutes to fix myself.Furthermore, a few days after picking up the vehicle my ABS light comes on. Never had a problem with the abs until they touched my car!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

THE SERVICE OF A BMW DEALERSHIP - IN GRIFFIN ! I need to set the record straight for all of these less then 5 star reviews. I have never been to this location and it was recommended by another repair shop in the area that could not diagnose my BMW. So this car has been the absolute best car I have ever owned but it has also been the most expensive - it will also be the last German car that I will ever purchase - EVER!! So the diagnostic fee was $250. I was informed (very professionally) - the deposit or diag fee does not apply to repairs. I thought that was completely reasonable. Another large and long standing repair shop here in Griffin did not have the computer equipment or the experience to begin to tackle this problem. It was discovered that the main computer had a fault and needed to be replaced. I was also told it would be covered by a 2 year warranty (I was pleasantly surprised). I was also told that it would cost about $2,200. Not that I did not trust Griffin Imports but you know - I called the BMW dealership in Macon now that I knew what the problem was. The dealership in Macon wanted almost double the cost to make this repair. I am very thankful for GRIFFIN IMPORTS - IN GRIFFIN that saved me money and the hassle of taking this car to a dealer in Macon and completed the repair flawlessly with a warranty. For those of you low star folks - highly skilled - high tech repairs are expensive. If you have a car worth investing in - especially a not so common import - this is the place !!!Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Chris love to steal money from people. He charged me 250 for a Diagnostic Stating that the car will be back to factory settings And that the problem would go away. The car is still the same way as I brought it in. I don't recommend Griffin import service.

I recently took my 323 for repairs because my engine light was on and I needed to pass emissions. I was very impressed with the professionalism, quality of work, and reasonable upfront pricing I received. They quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me multiple options for repair.

This guy is something else. I Took my car to him, he bled the brakes and scan my car. Charged me almost $300 and didn t even fix the problem. Also told me it s going to be another $500 to figure it out. I took the car home and fixed It in less then 20 min, he spent 1 1/5 and did nothing, just took my money. . He will never touch my car again. I hope he read this he know who I am. Crook.

Excellent service! Wish I had found this shop before the other place had done any damage. But this is home for my Mercedes now. If I could give a 0 star rating I would do not go to this business!!!!!!!! Took my car in Monday for diagnostic paid 200 it is now Thursday and every time I call he either doesn t answer or says he ll call back!!!!! I still don t know what is wrong with my car!!!!!! Notice the only decent ratings r 1 sentence ratings!!!!!!

Iwas an employee for a week at griffin import chris was my boss i fixed around 10 cars and pulled a motor. And for a bisness who s. Been in bisness for 20 yrs. I expected a lot more well he still has not paid me not for one car his balance he owes me is 1300

My 05 330i broke down enroute from FL to my home in Ohio on New Years Eve of all days. A Google search brought up BMW Independent Parts & Service in Griffin. Being a stranded out of towner I was apprehensive but could not have been more pleased with the response, detailed explanation of needed repairs and fair price to get me back on the road. Chris the owner is expert in servicing Beemers, honest and straightforward. I give his service facility my highest marks.Charles Dan Jones

The guys at griffin import are very nice and helpful! They explained what was wrong with my car in a very clear and understanding way. The prices are very fair. I will be going to them for all my car needs! I highly recommend you check them out!!

I called to see how much a diagnostics charge would be (this is what tells you what's wrong with your car) and he said $150! Coates charges 40 bucks but they were closed today. I told him this and he immediately started being VERY RUDE to me. Asking why am I even calling if I know Coates low price? "Bc they're closed today, sir." He replies with "well, we JUST CLOSED!" and hung up on me! COATES IT IS.

THIS GUY IS A CROOK!!!! DO NOT GO HERE---THERE'S A REASON HE HAS THE SAME OLD JUNK BROKE DOWN OUT THERE ON A WEEKLY BASIS! QUOTED ME $50 TO SCAN A CAR OVER THE PHONE AND EVEN REPEATED AGAIN AFTER I ASKED, "$50 TO SCAN"......YES $50 HE REPLIED.....SO AFTER GETTING THERE AND WAITING FOR 30 MINUTES FOR HIM TO SCAN CAR HE SCANNED IT AND THEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME $150.....HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A CLUE ABOUT WHAT THE SCANNER TOLD HIM, MY CARS PROBLEMS, OR ANYTHING!!!! THEN TRIED TO TELL ME HE WOULD SPLIT IT WITH ME AND ONLY CHARGE ME A HUNDRED....I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE ARGUING WITH HIM AND PAID HIM FOR DOING NOTHING EVEN THOUGH HE TOLD ME $50 ON THE PHONE SEVERAL TIMES!!! AFTER GETTING HIS HAND WRITTEN RECIEPT---YOU CAN EVEN TELL HE WROTE $50 FIRST AND THEN ADDED THE "1" IN FRONT OF THE $50!!!! THIS GUY IS AS CROOKED AS THEY COME AND IS NOT KNOWLEGEABLE ABOUT ANYTHING!!! I AM A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC AND THIS GUYS A JOKE-----HE EVEN HAD RE-DOS COMING IN WHILE I WAS THERE WAITING ON HIM TO SCAN MY CAR!RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST SHOP!
