As we all know, life will trip you up sometimes and if nothing else, you're semi prepared for the unexpected. So when I called this establishment, Tom answered the phone, asked what happened and I don t know if he heard it in my voice but I said my car is smoking and he said I could bring my car in right away. When I arrived, he greeted me, took a look see and before I left the parking lot; a technician was already taking my car back for diag. Cameron took me back to work as a courtesy and Ashton later calls and gives me a breakdown of what happened. Once he explained and threw in a joke or two, I was immediately relieved. I mean talk about taking the worry out of a situation, making sure I wasn t stranded and was able to get my car back within HOURS!!. Now I know my repair was on the simpler side of most but when your car is smoking, it easily could ve became the worse. I am highly thankful and appreciative of their customer service and getting this done so so quickly! You guys are rock stars and thank you again from the bottom of my heart!!!!!

The technician Keon worked on my fianc� s KIA Forte GT. He did an alignment, changed the oil, and replaced the windshield wipers. Also, Tom who answered the phone was nice and worked me right in. I would recommend them to anyone who needs repairs or maintenance on their vehicle.

I waited an entire week for a fuel pump replacement. I checked the price of the repair with 2 other nearby shops and one was $300 less and another was $200 less. I had to have the work done here because I owed a $239 diagnostic fee to them regardless and would have had to also pay for a tow to the next shop. They are as nice as they can be but their prices are not competitive. It just didn t feel like a fair deal.

I had a great experience here today!! Friendly, efficient service. I came in for a scheduled emissions test and was greeted with a warm welcome and timeliness. On the way there, my tire pressure light came on, and the guys quickly caught and alerted me about the severe leak I had in one of my tires. They even replaced the tire with my spare for me without me asking. 10/10 recommend!!Services: Tires, Auto emissions testing

I have been using Butler in Evans for the past couple of years and have been very pleased with their service. Most recently, my wife s car was having brake issues. We had just had Butler service then about a year before with new pads and new rotors. Took it back to them and they really stood behind their work. No charge for the parts or service. They even recognized that a tire was out of balance during the test drive and corrected that issue as well free of charge.P.S. never buy an Acadia, you less you want to spend a bunch of time at Butler!

The staff at the Washington Road location are the best!! I have taken my vehicle there multiple times for various repairs, and have received A+++ service every time!! I recently had my car repaired at a Butler Automotive in Evans. I was very impressed by their quick service with getting my car back to me. I was told by the dealership and CARMAX that it would be 2+ weeks for them to even look at my vehicle. The entire staff was awesome, especially Tom. He kept me informed and updated On the repairs and cost the entire time my car was with them. Highly recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance

2022-11: My family has been using Butler Automotive for 10 years. Multiple cars, multiple issues or just maintenance. They've always been professional and accommodating with no surprises anywhere along the process. We'll continue to bring our vehicles here as long as the standard they set for themselves a decade ago holds strong. I'm not worried.

I brought my vehicle in Monday, took them until the end of the week to diagnose an issue going on with my car. They wanted to charge me THOUSANDS of dollars for major work. I took my vehicle from the shop and dropped it off at the dealership to get a second opinion. Just to find out there is nothing major wrong with the car and it s perfectly safe to drive on the road. Butler wanted to SCAM me of my money and still made me pay for a fake diagnoses.Service: Vehicle Inspection

My daughter needed emissions done on her car, but is living in South Carolina. I found this location on-line with good reviews and sent her there, so she wouldn t have to drive to the Atlanta area. When I scheduled the appointment the person I talked to was very polite and accommodating. After my daughter had the emissions done she sent me a note that they were very friendly at Butler Automotive (we had not talked about it beforehand). Thank you for treating my daughter with respect, as a parent I would feel comfortable sending her there again. Well done!!

I've gone to the Butler off Riverwatch for many years. I moved to Evans and thought the Evans location would have the same level of service. FAR FROM IT! I had new tires put on my car a few years back and noticed that my front tires would always deflate even when more air added. I realize now that my car adjusts the tire air pressure and Butler overlooked this feature. More recently I needed to have my radiator replaced. I took it to Evans Butler once again, and last, to have my radiator replaced. When I get the car back. There are pieces of the in my trunk, like the entire front undercarriage cover. The cowlings that go around my front wheel hubs aren't secured and just hang. They had to discharge the AC to do the job and didn't recharge the AC after being charged for it. NOW.. today! My car is sitting in some random parking lot because my car overhearted and started smoking. This has only been 2 - 3 months since the replacement. HIGHLY disatisfied!!!!Services: Tires, Air conditioning

My Paint Partners van died on the road she was bleeding pretty bad. They had her towed to their shop within an hour or so and fixed in a less than 2 days. I thought she was headed for the junk yard, but they brought her back to life. I can't thank you enough!

It is now going on nine years as a client and on each occasion visited, they were efficient, courteous personnel on duty. Today, March 2023, we still hold our 5 star view of Butler Automotive. Two years after the pandemic has not affected the quality of their customer service, and they continue to offer reasonable prices for exceptional work. They are more than capable of working on most of the current models on the market, including E-V models. Regardless of the brand type, it is still important to call and describe the problem with your electric vehicle. We have recently changed cars and we will continue to have Butler service our cars.

Taken my car to this shop (and downtown location) multiple times, good work is done at this shop.Evans location is a little more pushy about doing work that doesn't really *need* to be done right now, but thats a location thing. Always get a second opinion if you are unsure, these guys are still great

I cannot say enough great things about this place! Super knowledgeable and friendly service, fixed my car immediately. We ve been to several auto places in the area and this one went above and beyond and was fast and affordable. These people are business men, they will take every penny from you. This isn t a mechanic shop, this a business, they only want money and make your car worse at the end of the day. Stopped in on the way home to ask about a wheel alignment. Was told I could get in first thing in the morning. Returned in the morning and as promised was immediately helped. Estimate was that it would take about an hour and in 50 minutes the work was done. Data on before and after readings was provided. Price was very reasonable and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend! Great job, Butler Team and thanks very much! New tires and alignment make it feel like a new car!!!

I called with a concern regarding my alternator. I fit a quote from a dealership and the quote was outrageous! I called Butler and Tom felt it was actually the battery. He worked me in, checked both the battery and alternator and it was in a fact the battery. They were able to take care of it that day and fast! I certainly will be going back!

Only reason they even got 1 Star is because you Can t post without it! Last February we had our truck towed there, No It s Not Free for Towing!! We needed brakes and my husband told them to make necessary repairs. Well $1,000.00 later 2 weeks ago our Front Brakes Locked Up On Us and Blew the Front Tire! Thank God we weren t on the highway! Called them after we had the tire changed and were told Only A One 1 Year Warranty!! Are You Kidding Me?? Nope! Called Tires For Less on Peach Orchard and Brandon told us to come in. Had to have rotors cut and 4 brakes.,.. Butler Never Replaced The BACK BRAKES! Front Brakes were carrying the Whole Truck! Lucky we Didn t Get KILLED! Price was Way Lower than Butler and LIFETIME WARRANTY!! DON T GO TO BUTLER!! Go See BRANDON at TIRES FOR LESS at Peach Orchard!!!

Only months after getting warrantied work done (wheel bearings). Car had to be returned for exact same fix. After finally getting the call to pick up vehicle, I was told that I could not get a copy of a receipt because the technician did not create a work order because vehicle was fixed for free (should have been repaired right the first time). Leaving me with no proof of rework, so if the bearings were to go bad again it only shows the original date of install. Which could throw the parts out of the guarantee windowService: Steering & suspension repair

Brought in my vehicle for emission test and got it back not tested and with engine light turned on back. Unless you want your vehicle back with problems, dont bring it here

Beware!!! So my wife's car overheats on her way to work last Friday. We called Butler and asked if they could work on it that day and if they had a preferred tow service, which they said yes to both. Hours later the tow service had yet to arrive. We called Butler back and they ensure us they could still get to the car. My wife had a schedule trip the next day so we needed the car back but instead of just calling another company we trusted Butler to their word. Well the tow truck finally arrived around 2pm, the day past and we got busy at work, 630pm came and Butler had never called us back and now they were closed. I called them Saturday all day and no answer, I called them Monday and no answer, so they took a 3 day weekend for Labor Day and didn't bother to tell us this on Friday... All other repair shops were open but our car just sat at Butler for 4 days. On Tuesday morning I finally spoke to them and they hadn't even looked at the car. Tuesday afternoon they determined it needed a water pump and it would be ready the next day. Well it wasn't. On Wednesday it still wasn't ready. Thursday morning still not ready but they said it would be that afternoon. At 345pm no one had called us and I called again and it was ready but NO ONE HAD CALLED US. So $900 dollars and 6 days later my wife finally gets her car back. This is the worst customer service ever. For a company to close for a 3 day holiday that their competitors were open during yet not tell us and lie stating they would work on the car that 1st day... And then 3 days to put a new water pump on. Last time I will ever take a car to Butler and I will make sure that EVERYONE is aware about this horrible experience.

My car stopped running while I was driving on the highway last week on my way to South Carolina. It was closing time for most shops in the area so I did not have the option of calling around but AAA recommended Butler and towed my car there. I called first thing the next morning to let them know what was going on. I told the man on the phone the 2 issues that I knew for a fact my car had and asked him to check these things as I was pretty sure it was one or the other. He told me there would be a diagnosis fee that was more than 100$ which seemed steep but since I was from out of town I didn t feel I had much of a choice. They call back two days later and tell me that my timing belt was gone and wanted over a 1000$ dollars to repair it. I asked him how he came to this conclusion and if he had checked the things I asked about and he assured me he had. I knew for a fact that I may need a timing belt replacement in the near future but that it was not my timing belt that caused my car to turn off driving down the highway and if it had been my timing belt I would have needed a hell of a lot more work than what he was talking about as it would ve torn my engine to pieces internally. He did not have any good explanation of how he came to the conclusion that it was my timing belt and had a huge attitude when I tried to get some information about what they had done to check it. That being said I took a chance on my gut feeling and went ahead and paid an arm and a leg to get my car towed back home to a mechanic that I trust and it took him 2 minutes to assure me that my timing belt was fine and had nothing to do with my car breaking down. Today I get the call that as I expected it was my distributor cap (which is a part that cost less than 30$ that I could ve replaced myself on the side of the road). I m not sure if they thought they could tell me some crazy diagnosis and that I would have to pay because I was from out of town or if it is just because I m a young girl and they didn t feel it was necessary to look into what I told them but I am disgusted by the customer service and whatever mechanic looked at my car. Once I told them I was going to have someone pick up my car and take it somewhere else the man reminded me that I owed him for the diagnosis but then I had my step father call them later and they quickly decided not to charge me for it (maybe out of fear of getting in trouble with AAA?). Either way I thank god I trusted my instincts because had I not I would ve spent over 1000$ and my car still wouldn t have started. I wouldn t recommend these guys to anyone.

The only reason why I use them for my car needs is because Carmax recommended them. It was easy to get an appointment and I never had issues with the work they ve done and I hope not. The only issue i have is that the staff is not people friendly to some. The prices are ridiculously expensive.Services: Brakes, Oil changeServices: Brakes, Oil change

Brought my 4Runner to Butler on Washington. I needed an alignment, but I also had a wobble that turned out to be warped rotors. The alignment they had to do in the shop but the rotors I could change at home. They told me what the problem I was having was without extra charge. The shop personnel were very friendly, and they were straight up with me. Definitely an honest shop from all my interaction. These guys will be my go to for my auto work for now on.
