Brought my car up for prevention maintenance checkup. Chris (Store Manager) was amazing. I stayed at the shop while they worked on my vehicle. During that time, I was able to witness amazing customer service by both Chris and Robert (Assistant manager I believe). These guys are very professional. Great at communication and resolving issues. Coming from a leadership background, I always like to witness others showing excellent leadership skills. Would highly recommend this location.

Brought in for an oil change plus tire rotation and balance, I had a thumping sound when driving, and the balancing was suggested. I left and still had a thumping sound. When I got home and looked at the tires myself I noticed a busted belt on one of the tires. If the tires had been balanced I'm sure this would have been noticed. Currently buying new tires at a competitor.

I've been to this location plenty of times. Robert at the front desk was great, friendly and efficient. My car got it's regular maintainance in a good time frame and although it took longer than expected they communicated with me along the way. Great experience!

I had an appointment this morning at 7am and the service manager Chris was very pleasant. My wait time was quick for my service and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Chris informed me when my car was ready and gave me some information about my vehicle and sent me on my way. I definitely recommend this location and make sure to ask for Chris.

I came in at seven in the morning to get my alignment done. I had paid for a one year policy and I was getting upgrades to my front end. I d already come in two other times for other alignments for things that needed to be done with shocks and struts. this third time that I came in was hopefully to be my last. Having done all repairs up to this point. At 7 AM the alignment tech had not come in yet and I was a little disappointed since I had gotten up so early. But Chris, the manager, surprise me by taking care of it himself and getting me out the door within an hour. I think you can count on Pep Boys to take care of you.

The service they provided was simply OUTSTANDING!!!!! Tammy and Jerry, and all the staff are SOOO kind! I needed to purchase a battery and have it installed. They took care of me, my car and I had a coupon which made the cost hurt less. I am truly glad I came to this location Praise God

I recently had my first experience at our local Pep Boys and I must say it was such a positive experience. My husband had been having his car serviced there before, and this was my first need. The shop Manager, Chris, was so personable and upbeat, it made the experience stand out from others. Also, my car service was turned around in very little time, was affordable and done to my complete satisfaction. I appreciated the professionalism and prompt service and will recommend this specific shop and team!

Tammy the Front desk receptionist is excellent at her job and today when Tammy was busy on the phone, she acknowledged my presence and referred me to the Technician, Rob and he assisted me with my needs with my diagnosis and was very professional, courteous and attentive.

This place is overpriced! Charged us almost $1000 to replace a fuel pump on a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. I do understand the labor might be high but not as much as the dealer. The pump itself was over $400 ..ridiculous! Since it was already towed there, we left it with them to repair. They drained our battery and said it was dead when it got there. There was nothing wrong with the battery that was checked before the tow. It had power just wouldn t turn all the way over. They should have known not to continue to try and crank it because that would kill the battery. We picked the car up the same day after the repair however less than a week later, the check engine light came on. I was told by Glenn at one of the auto part stores that the code was related to the fuel area and if we had the fuel pump recently changed to take it back. I told him who repaired it and he said talk to Chris he s a fair man and that they do business with pep boys all the time . My wife was already familiar with Chris and we were planning on taking the car back anyway. However, I mentioned to Chris at pep boys what was told to me and he wasn t pleasant. Later Chris stated he called over to the auto part store and they denied what they said about the service being related to the check engine light now coming on .go figure .SMH.Pep boys checked the car out again and said it was a hose near the fuel pump that needed to be tightened which they did. Tammy at the front desk refused to give my wife an invoice that stated what they did because they did not charge to tighten the hose they failed to do the first time. My wife contacted their corporate office and put in a complaint. She was told that the district manager will call us back in 48 hours. It s almost 2 weeks and no returned call from the district manager. I pray we never have to use them again!

My husband scheduled an appointment for Friday, March 8th at 5pm. He arrived on time for the appointment and was advised that our car would not be ready until 7pm. He went to a nearby restaurant to wait. Pep boys called him an hour and 30 minutes later to advise that they did not have the oil filter needed for our vehicle.He was told that everything was in the system, as he was using CarAdvise and that I could bring the car back in the morning at 7am.I arrived at the store around 7:10am and was told they would not be able to get the part until around 7:45am. I asked, why instruct someone to come at 7am if there would be a delay in getting the filter? No empathy, no apology and I was speaking to the manager, Chris. His reply was, I was not here yesterday evening. I stated I will come back at 8am and he said he could not order the filter, unless the vehicle was present. Another inconvenience/longer wait time. I decided to wait and vehicle was not ready until almost 8:30am. When it was time to close out, I advised that my husband had already taken care of payment via CarAdvise and was told that everything was noted in the system. Chris said, he knew nothing about that. I showed him the text information that my husband gave me should I have any issues. He then said I should have told him when I first came in. I asked, how I am supposed to know that if your staff from yesterday evening instructed my husband that we were ok to bring in and everything was noted in the system. Due to him, not seeing and/or not reading the notes throughly, he's holding my keys hostage asking how would I be paying. I called my husband and suddenly his story changes and he gives me my keys. In my opinion, he did a piss poor job handling the situation and obviously did not review the notes in the system, thus the reason I was asked for payment. I had to disrupt my husband at work because he overlooked notes in the system and did not want to assist in verifying that there should not have been a payment due. So unprofessional and need some sensitivity training. Will not be going back.

Our trusted vehicle service provider in the Mableton area! We can typically get a same day appointment as needed and receive quick service. We came in the day after thanksgiving needing two tire repairs after picking up nails and the team at this Floyd Rd location we re all very friendly and happy to help. Great customer service keeps us coming back. Thank you!

1 starFollow up on my CASE # 131896 - I WAS DOUBLE CHARGE $538.53. The Director called me today. But still no refund as of yet. I was happy to hear the store representative/ Tammy was online with the Director and I. Chris/mgr & Tammy/ Frank representatives at Pep boys I want to personally thank you for your effort in this ordeal . I truly realize this is beyond you all. Pep Boys you have to fix this process. I m a veteran . This is unsatisfactory in my book.

I had a situation come up and needed help ASAP. I called pep boys but didn't expect help m I spoke with a a gentleman named Chris and he was very nice, helpful and professional. I was in and out with no problems. I've used these guys before to do some other work in the past. Nothing but grade A service and fast and professional help. If you need something done that pepboys can do, come here. Talk to Chris. He will get you taken care of.

NO SUPERVISOR HAS CALLED BACK AS I REQUESTED FOR HIGHER ASSISTANCE. EVERY REPRESENTATIVE GIVES ME DIFFERENT ANSWER OF REFUND POLICY. PEP BOYS IS SHOWING ME TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN EVERY FASHION. NO STARS . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY OTHER CUSTOMER.

Chris provided excellent customer service! He got me out the door at the lowest price possible with my vehicle problem fixed. He also provided professional future repair suggestions for the maintenance of my Truck, which I surely will take advantage of when my pocket book allows! What more can you ask for?! Arrived at 10 for an oil change and it was done at 1130. Final cost was $99 for full synthetic. I was quoted 74.99 on the phone for the high mileage one, but they were conveniently out but suddenly there was a coupon at the end.Said I needed new rotors but mine look totally fine and they suggested I replace the newer of the two pairs (the front). Other than the rotors, the inspection sheet was just a list of N/As for things they didn t check. Why even advertise the inspection if you won t do it?The associate, Tammy, was a little difficult at first - I asked how much longer will it be and she said he s in the process of it and I had to keep pushing to get a real time. She changed her tone at the end when she suddenly had a coupon though.With all the misdirection and confusion I can t recommend this place. Just be honest and transparent with people it s really not that hard.If there were any stars left I d take off another for not accepting Amex.

From the phone call to the time I made it into the building Chris is the epitome of what management looks like. He comforted me knowing that my vehicle would be in could hands with him. He even let me know about discounts online that I could take advantage of. I am more than likely getting all of my services done with this location and letting friends and family in the area know to do the same. Thank you all so much for this gem of a person. God Bless !

Worst customer service frank told me to come at 9am on feb 11 get there older lady at desk say we dont have appointment for you i said is frank here she says he is on vacation..big dudes comes out asked whats going on he then says its 8 people in front of you..i said no way cause manager frank told me to come at 9 he then says yeah he told you that cause he knew he was going to be on vacation...my tires had been delivered there a week prior and they never called to tell me...didnt apologize or take accountability for the mistske or nothing frank train your employees to do better

Not happy with the recent visit. Feel lied to about the concern I came in for. All they seemed to do was recommend additional repairs. I booked an ac diagnosis and they recommended $2500.00 in additional repairs that are not needed. Must have been a wonderfully slow day and they needed something to do. I didn't ask for anything other than the ac diagnosis and they hit me up for everything except a car wash and an air freshener. And then they emailed me a 15% off service coupon. Very disturbing. Will not be returning.

Hello everyone, if you're in the mood to get your time wasted and donate money to keep the scam alive at Pep Boys this is how! I got scammed out of $1,300 dollars and sent away from Pep Boys without my car getting fixed. What a dream come true!I had issues starting my 2012 Hyundai Elantra. That's when I decided to get a jump and bring my vehicle to Pep Boys. Their agent Ms. Tammy let me know that the cause of the problem was the Alternator Drive Belt and the Alternator. I spoke with Chris McKinnis the manager on the phone, he mentioned he could fix the belt and alternator for the given price of $900.00 and he said I'll squeeze another 200.00 out of you to get the rest done. I repeated the deal making sure I heard Chris correctly and he agreed and I agreed to do it!Long story short they charged me 1,537.96 and reneged on our deal. On September 12th, I went home after picking up my car to get Chris's name and called them back to remind them that they had left out the discount. Ms. Tammy said Chris was out and they forgot to honor the deal. I asked will they honor it now since they were reminded, and she said they could give me a couple of oil changes. She said that the resolution came from Chris.My car wouldn't start again. When I dropped my vehicle off, Ms. Tammy told me that they had to hold my car because they put in a faulty alternator and they had to reorder another one. I received my car on September 20th.On September 27th, my car stopped working again. Same problem as the first two times. The car wouldn't crank up. I needed to look for a jump to get my vehicle to Pep Boys. As I got ready to get my car to Pep Boys, Chris called me about the $200.00 discount. I told Chris that I had to drop my car back off with them because I was having the same problems as before. I mentioned I had to get a jump before I left. Chris had the nerve to say to me, "If you can jump your car then it's not the alternator." I told him that ya'll told me the reason, why my car isn't working, was because of my alternator.When I arrived, I gave him the keys to my car and we disagreed on our discount conversation. He totally went against everything that we agreed on. He even talked about how he gave me a discount to get the original price from $1,700 to $1,500 which he just made up. I knew the price Ms. Tammy started out with. He talked about how he said he was taking $200.00 off and he didn't say anything about squeezing another $200.00 out of me. He refused to honor his word. I was repulsed by his lack of dignity. I felt violated as I decided to walk out of their store. I let cooler heads prevail as I decided to give up. I just wanted my car fixed. They can keep the few hundred dollars that they owe me. I just wanted this over with. So I gave in. I took the $200.00 discount. My car was released to me on September 30th, but they didn't know what was wrong with the car. They called it a parasitic draw. They claimed they didn't have the machine to detect the "parasitic draw". They told me to find an electrical specialist, so they jumped power into my car, and sent me on my way where my car finally died back home. So I paid $1,337.96 to have my vehicle remain non-functioning.I believe they can do this to customers because they are ALLOWED to do this to customers. Where is a customer going to go if Customer Service gives their own customers the run-around? They go nowhere, because we have no protection from scammers and cheats like the Pep Boys on 5029 Floyd Rd Sw, Mableton Ga. 30126. Thank you for your time and eyes and I hope you never have to experience anything like this, but if you want the opportunity to go through a roller coaster of emotions, defeat, being taken advatage of and end up trying to figuring out what to do next, then I recommend Pep Boys! Please share your stories and the pleasure of getting screwed from Pep Boys below and let everyone know even the news and the Better Business Burreau how great you got screwd. Pep Boys will probably even charge you $200.00 for the screw.
