He just fixed my Kia with no problem... Made sure that everything was working before he left. He is definitely my go-to from now on. He didn't stop until he made sure my starter was starting and my battery was right.

It s been a little over a month and my car is still running great! I appreciate Calvin for helping with my vehicle. I appreciate him not taking advantage of me which I know some mechanics will. I have a Mercedes and from what I had price for the work Calvin did for me, he really cut me a deal. Great customer service!

I had to have my car towed to Calvin's shop after dealing with it not starting for weeks. He had it fixed and ready for me just a few days later. I would definitely recommend and go back to Calvin if I ever have anymore car issues. He had great customer service and he's very knowledgeable and I really appreciate his help.

Absolutely horrible service attitude from the owner! Arguing with a woman is insane because he misunderstood what I asked for! I definitely do not recommend this service and southern hospitality was not found here! Clearly just people with skill and no business ethics! Getting my belt and pulley fixed @MobileMechanicAtlanta

My alternator went bad, and my car broke down on the side of the road. I contacted Calvin, he made it to me within 20 minutes or so. He drove me to the nearest auto part shop, I purchased an alternator and he replaced the part. I ve been up and running ever since, I appreciate you brother.

Reviewing based on a HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL encounter that my sister just experienced. (I am not speaking under her direction.) At NO point should Calvin (the mechanic) have INITIATED assault against a pregnant customer by throwing her into the hood of her car! When my sister went retrieve her car (for services already paid), she found car parts sprawled about based on her refusal for additional overpriced services of $400 for an oil and light bulb change, and $120 for a diagnostic performed months earlier when the vehicle was first acquired. Calvin refused to reassemble the parts (again, my sister had already rendered payment for the original requested service), and even began further disassembling car parts despite her asking that Calvin refrain from touching her vehicle until police arrive. TACTLESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL! If you want a side of aggression with your services, Calvin is your guy!

Stay away unless you enjoy being treated like dirt!I called Mr. Auto Fix It Mobile Repair to finish up a DIY repair job that turned into a nightmare. He seemed professional and it seemed like he fixed my car right on the first try until a week later when I looked under my car and saw that the leak was still there and he didn't do a good job of cleaning up the scraped off gasket maker that holds the transmission pan onto the transmission.His failure to clean up properly could have resulted in me needing a new transmission if one of the scraped off pieces got sucked into my transmission!When I called Calvin to get things fixed, he agreed to fix my problem but this is where things started to go south causing him to lose my business permanently. Here's what happened:1. Rain caused me to reschedule my appointment for another day but Calvin never contacted me to confirm what time he would stop by my house to fix things. I had to call him.2. Even though he was supposed to come to my house, on the day of the appointment he told me that I had to bring my car to his shop to get it fixed and that I had to be there within 3 hours notice or keep waiting for him to get it fixed.3. When I got lost and politely called for directions a 2nd time, Calvin yelled at me, was rude, and treated me like an idiot for not being able to find his shop. No customer should be treated that way!After I hung up (and blocked him from contacting me), I immediately took my car to nearby Autoville (a great Honda/Acura/Japanese specialist shop). The knowledgeable man who inspected my car could not believe that my transmission pan gasket was replaced a week ago. He had to ask me twice just to make sure. In his words, "they did NOT do a good job of cleaning the pan."My advice to others; don't waste your time. He got the job done quick and at a very, very cheap price but he didn't do it right despite it being one of the simplest jobs a mechanic can do and his customer service skills stink.

My baby alternator went out.I called Mr.Auto fix it and he came out with no problem and got my baby car back on the road.It was freezing out there but he got it done.Thank y all for your service and you have a forever customer.Dont hesitate to call them

My alternator died on Veterans Memorial Hwy and Calvin got me back on the road in good time, for a very fair price. It s almost impossible to find an independent shop that isn t understaffed or overbooked. I m glad I was able to find someone right in my neighborhood, as opposed to rolling into a corporate chain shop and dealing with their shenanigans.

This guy broke my caliber.. I paid him anyway... I thought he would do the right thing and come back and put on the new one.. he refused to answer the phone. After months of calling.. I had to call from another number.. just to get him to answer... Bootleg mechanic... run from this company... Save yourself the headache.. talking about he charged me not full price... Please I paid what you quoted me. People please.. be mindful who you let work on your car... Save yourself a whole lot of headaches... Look these people up .. report them to BBB... I had a major problem with my car. My fuel injectors needed to be replaced. Couldn't even drive it. I called in, told them my issues, they were wonderful, even helped me find a tow truck driver. All in all it took just a couple of days to get the car up and running and the price was amazing, about a 3rd of what a dealership would have wanted. She drives better than she has ever driven! I wouldn't hesitate to go back again. Great job done all around.

The price is good because they don t finish the job. Please don t fall for the 4 stars. It s an insult to give this place any stars. Whoever gave this place any stars, works for the company or is a relative. And I believe every one star review they got and that alone should let you know not to do business with this place. Your more than welcome to ignore this review but I warned you ..matter fact look at the reviews from last six months. It s probably a relative that gave them a 5 star. Do the math people, most of their good reviews have been years ago. Y don t they have more than one good review from the last 3months. Most people leave bad reviews because they are unsatisfied or just didn t get a good service. I m telling you now, they would half fix your car and tell you to comeback the next day only for them to tell you they don t have the time to fix ur car. And don t bother calling because he( Calvin) would hang up on you. So my best advice, stay far away from this mechanic, they are ruthless and don t care about you or your car. They just want your MONEY!!! To bad the only person that s nice and reasonable is the lady at the counter. The mechanic is the perfect definition of worthless!!!!!! And then have the nerve to respond back to a review. Don t worry y all his gonna play victim. If you know you did the work to your best ability, y leave a novel-like response when you got called out. Calvin fixed my first car issue in Dec 2018. He was responsive, quick and actually FIXED my issue! He fixed my brakes and rotors this weekend in a day and my car always runs great after his repairs. He's even worked on my father's car here visiting! It's such a relief to find a mechanic I can count on and I've found that in Calvin. If you're in the area or not, please, PLEASE do yourself a favor and call Calvin for all of your automotive needs. You won't regret it at all. He is awesome! Highly recommended!

I own a small direct sales company and we stopped in the Atlanta area for 4 weeks on business. We have a small fleet of vehicles to keep maintained and our experience has taught us to avoid franchise or chain auto repair shops. I'm happy to report that we found Calvin to help us with our vehicles. He showed up on site and on time to do the work for us which was very convenient. He also did not attempt to oversell us on work. He did what was required to get the job done at a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend this fair and honest gentleman to anyone in the Atlanta area that needs quality auto repairs done for a reasonable price.Continued success to you Calvin. Great service. Trustworthy and reliable. Calvin has been my go to mechanic for 6 years and my car is still working fine. He does all my major work and I have never had a problem with any of his work over the years. I recently got my wheel bearings, spark plugs, brakes, and calipers done. He s reasonably priced and always upfront which is why I continue to use his service.

We went to Calvin for a diagnostic engine light issue. He told us it was the starter and we paid for that then we still could not get the car to start. He went and got his machine to hook up to the car again and then said it was the 2 fuel pumps that cost us 634 and he said to bring the part Tuesday and he could knock it out. I got there at 9am and nobody was there so I came back around 11 and he said he might be able to get to our vehicle. Another went by and it still was not the problem and the care would not start. He quoted 570 for labor when we decided to to move forward with his service. At the time of payment the price increases to 690. We paid but he did not offer us any sort of discount after he mis diagnosed the issue and we spent a large amount of money trusting his experience and knowledge. We then had to go to precision auto down the street and was able to get better service at a cheaper price. We feel taken advantage of and the service piece was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!! We will never go to him EVER again. He has poor communication and not professional at ALL!!!!!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Often times we don't take a few moment to offer kinds words to everyday people who make our lives easier. I had a car issue last week and found myself not knowing where to get it serviced. Of course most think of national auto-name branded shops where they would charge you for every little thing, maybe a small fee for just stepping into their building! I began to think about a nearby shop that I never visited and I'm just 1 mile away from the establishment. I reached out to the shop and minutes later I received a text msg response! The person and I began a text conversation concerning my car. The exchange was short but to the point. I had instructions to possess/purchase the part and deliver my car to his establishment. The owner provided a cost estimate for service and promised that car would be finished the following day. Finally I arrived at the shop and was greeted by a young man named Calvin. Quiet nature yet receptive, he assured me that he'll take care of my car. He texted me the following day and said the car is serviced. My car has been operating well on the road now. Thank you Calvin!

I've had nothing but superb quality experience in the few months of having work done on my vehicle. Calvin, had to correct a problem of another's mechanic poor services (after paying $1500 and having my car for a few months) and needless to say I haven't had any more problems. Calvin is very knowledgeable and professional, ensuring that customers are satisfied.

**CUSTOMER WARNING** Do not go to this car shop. I wish I would have read the many negative comments on here before bringing my car to this business. Long story short: I brought my car to Calvin because my engine light was on. He told me it was an engine problem and he would fix it. A week later he contacted me and told me that he tried to fix my vehicle but was unsuccessful. He claimed that he checked the car and that the original diagnoses was incorrect. Thereafter, he told me that I have to pay him 700 dollars to get my car back. I said, "but you didn't fix anything?" He wasn't concern with my position and told me to pay the $700. I couldn't believe it. Talk about sticking me up without a gun? SMH. I ended up bringing the car to another shop and the mechanic told me it was the same engine issue that Calvin originally diagnosed. He then fixed it and now my car run great. Why couldn't Calvin fix it? He still made me pay him $700 for the work. JUST SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A BETTER CAR REPAIR SHOP. CALVIN'S OUTDATED SHOP SEEMS LIKE THEY CAN'T FIX CARS THAT REQUIRE MORE THAN A WRENCH. AND THE CUSTOMERS ARE HELD LIABLE IF THEY CAN'T FIX YOUR CAR. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. Calvin was my savior in my time of need. Within an hour of me calling, he came a fixed my alternator with no problems. He also found a leak in one of my hoses and was able to take care of that at the same time! Great work, great price, great service!

Calvin has fixed multiple things on my car; cv axles, motor mount and replaced my radiator. He is very personable as well as his staff. I definitely recommend his shop, reasonable pricing as well as they get the job done I haven t had any issues with any of the work done. He is my go to when I need something fixed on my car.

After receiving a courtesy text from Calvin @ Mr. Fix it Auto a week after my repair i realized I found the perfect mechanic to handle not only my but my entire families repair needs.When i first spoke with Calvin about the major repair my vehicle needed (a motor replacement) i felt confident and comfortable with his upfront and honest price and information, he broke it down in leimans terms for me to understand the process and components going into the repair, he made every effort to be affordable without cutting corners. He remained in touch with me through out the process and gave me an advanced heads up that he would need one more day. When he was done he called to let me know and when i picked my vehicle up it was clean and runs great! Calvin has given me peace of mind that i no longer have to worry about my car. I highly recommend him as he is very knowledgable, personable and treated me and my car with prioriity.

my daughter brought her vehicle that we thought originally just needed brake pads and roaders. The brake pads and roaders were replaced , she said they immediately started smoking and she brought the vehicle back. After bringing the vehicle back she was told it could be several different issues possibley wrong . He suggested she start with the brake hose and said it would be 35$ to install one side plus the price of the hose , whic was estimated at 35$ . Come to find out the hose the shop ordered did not fit or work for whatever reason and she was told to buy the original hose plus the other front hose and bring them to the shop to replace herself .After waiting 2 full days she was told that the price to replace the hoses went from being 35$ each hose to $120 for the mechanics time and for extra work/ diagnostic testing that we were not told about up front AT ALL. After having to go and buy my own parts I would think that we would not be charged for mechanics time being that it was not being WORKED on at the time. If we did have to pay for extra work, we should ve been told what was to be paid before hand . Just Unprofessional period.Service: Brakes
