Had an issue with my transmission and was recommended to go to Lee s transmission with a code p0746. They ordered a new valve body and once I came to pick it up, they told me the code won t clear but it s good to drive after changing the valve body. Approximately 4 days later ,my car broke down on the highway and had to get it towed back to their shop. They kept my vehicle for another two weeks just for the issue to reoccur literally 10 minutes later. Unprofessional and lacks communication at the highest level. Did not fix my issue and it cost me $600. Will not be taking my vehicle no where near it again.

Worse service ever had my truck there for almost a month and got back a unreliable transmission. They tell you its going to take 1 week then it become 2-3 plus they never answer there phone just voice message. Then it get better when your driving home and notice all the flaws and come back to hear their lame excuses about why it does that. Please never take your car just buy one from Autozone it takes less time to be shipped to your local store and for a mechanic to install it. Please take my advice the 300$ you think you are going to save triples when you just have to take it to a real transmission shop. The feeling of getting ripped off is the worse so just save up and run away from this place. P.S they dont own a dyno to inspect there suppose rebuilt transmission.

****WARNING WARNING WARNING**** DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE PEOPLE! These people have no idea how to rebuild or replace a transmission. I took my truck to these guys on NOVEMBER 23, 2015 for them to rebuild my transmission. When I had it pulled I only needed drive because reverse was fine. I was told by the owner we will have your truck ready within 2 weeks. On the second week I contacted them to see what time I could pick up car, I was told the car not ready, they had to order more parts. Cool, no problem. I kept calling to see if the parts were ordered, I was told yes but it s still not working. I called every week and my car still wasn t ready. Every day I called I got another excuse why my car wasn t ready. If you call the shop no one answers the phone. Now, let s fast forward this story. After months of calling, I finally got my car back on JUNE 10, 2016. My truck worked long enough for me to get it home and it died in the driveway. No drive, no reverse. I contact them and to let them know and was told, well we drove it around for a week before we called you. WTH!!! Why would you drive a customer car around for a week and not contact them? I actually gave these clowns a chance to fix my car, which meant I had to have the car towed again. The car was towed back to the shop on JUNE 15, 2016. I called every day to get the status of my car, we working on it, we ordered you a better transmission. Every day was a different excuse. I finally got my car back on OCTOBER 17, 2016. I pick up my truck and it looks like they had been sleeping in truck and grease all over the exterior of the truck. Not to mention I get half way down the road and my gas light comes on. When I had the car towed it had a half tank of gas, which meant they took my gas out of the car a second time. Again, truck worked long enough to get it home and once again. I lifted the hood and found tools and rags near the fan belts. I called and told them and they said bring it back. BULL CRAP!!! I ve been calling every day to get a refund and of course another excuse. The owner is out call back in an hour. You call back and he s not back yet. DO NOT USE Lee's Discount Transmission at 97 Veterans Memorial Hwy. The new location is 5811 Cousins Street in Austell Georgia. TOTAL RIPOFF!!! Pay the extra money and take it to the dealership.

This place is good don't mind the reviews some folks just never been to a shade tree mechanic type before. They do the job they're paid for and that's it and that's why you go see them. Is to do the work you want not add on this or add on that or by the way you need this or by the way you need that you get what you pay for. So what more could you really want in actuality. So if you're having issues I would recommend stopping by and seeing what they could do for you you probably won't regret it. And you'll pay a good price

I should've listened listened to all the terrible reviews but I didn't because the old man seemed so nice. He "rebuilt" my transmission for $1000. It lasted 30 days before messing up worse than before. I took it back for him to look at it and then couldn't get anyone to answer the phone for days. Finally I just went up there and was told that another belt probably broke and he would have to charge me labor again because labor is only covered for 2 weeks! He said "stuff breaks, it happens." I was not giving them another dime so I took my broke down car that they only rigged up to work for a while and left. So moral of the story is listen to the reviwes unless you want to throw away money like I just did.

They've had my car 19 days...for a transmission rebuild. This should have taken 4 days max, including ordering parts. Then come to find out, they waited a whole week to even BEGIN working on my car. Now, come pickup time (21 days), they have broken the CV joint. Do Not go to these clowns. UPDATE...I had to take my car back because it was shifting so hard it would give you whiplash. They supposedly changed the valve body. Shifting OK until 4th gear. O/D OFF light starts flashing amber, it feels like the drive shaft is about to be thrown from the car. But they say, keep driving it, maybe it will "fix itself". If cars fixed themselves, we wouldn't need mechanics.

If I could give zero stars I would.Worst experience ever.Under qualified junk yard style mechanics with no professionalism. I was promised a one week turn over, It's been over six months and my car is still in their possession.Very dishonest, money hungry and hostile.They are not qualified to fix a lawnmower.There is no logical reason why these people are still doing business. I strongly recommend any and everyone to avoid this place at all cost.

Worse place ever!! Took my car there worse mistake I ever made. 1 week turned into 6 weeks and I still don't have my car yet. Whenever they do answer the phone they always say tomorrow. You call tomorrow then it's next week. I just want my money back. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!

Got a transmission rebuilt and it only worked long enough for me to get my Yukon home to park it so I could find a professional to rebuild it. They are a rip off. Worst service I have ever received don't be cheap when you can get it done right by someone who knows what they are doing.

Never use them they steal parts off your car and pretend like they are rapairing it. This place is a rip off and should be closed immediately. I repeat do not go here unless you plan on spending triple dollars after they mess up and steal from you. I wish I never had of trusted these people. Customer service is beyond awful.

Lied and do not possess the skills to be in business at all! Held my car for 1 month and drove worse than before. Made excuses and told me to drive more to solve the problem! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP!!!!

I would not recommend them
