I just had my transmission done here and IT'S THE BEST PLACE EVER!!! Price was fair. They are so honest and keep you informed. Mr. David is the best. Any transmission problems this is the best place to get your vehicle repaired right. And it comes with a warranty. Thanks so much for a job well done.

These guys just rebuilt my 4l60 in my work van. I thought is was a little pricey but when I saw the warranty 3 years or 1000,00 miles I was sold. Also this van has never shifted smoother. They do not cut corners and straight up with estimate. I would highly recommend to any one looking for good shop and an honest mechanic. Thanks Guys.

Very professional and friendly. Fixed my transmission in less than a day and shifting good now. Price was very fair. I highly recommend this place. Ellington was recommended to me by an auto repair shop, Vics Tire and Auto in Dallas, Ga. who I take my truck to for regular maintenance but they don't fix transmissions and said they always recommend Ellington.

Fixed for free! What do mean? I bought a 2005 4x4 suburban with a remanufactured Ellington transmission it. The paperwork didn't say the.warranty (3year 100k) was transferable but I figured I wouldn't need the warranty anyway. At 2.5 years old and with over 30k on the reman it began to act up it felt like the torque converter was slipping. I called Ellington and spoke with Mr. Dave. I told him about the vehicle and paperwork I had and that it didn't say the warranty was transferable... So more or less I was just calling for advice of what to do next. Dave said that it was transferable and if I could get the vehicle to him that whenever it left his shop it would be fixed. I made an appointment and showed up that day 30 minutes late due to traffic. He was waiting on me and set to work diagnosing the vehicle immediately. He then took the transmission appart. I asked him to service.the transmission with a fluid and filter.when he was in there. I would pay him for it. He said there was no need, that was included and he was going to do that anyway. I also asked him to check on a transfer case leak I had, he did. He also changed a seal in the transfer case and replaced the fluid(synthetic that is expensive) and wouldn't let me pay for it! He did that for free. He called me the next day and said it was ready to be picked up. I went to the shop and he had my vehicle on a.lift showing me what all he had done (even fixed a bolt hole with a helicoil between the transmission and motor I had stripped!!!!) He had all the parts (main input shaft to the transmission and torque converter and shims) he had replaced on a table and he showed me what was wrong with them. Bottom line, I left with a bill for $0 and he fixed/serviced things that weren't even his responsibility... All for a guy that doesn't even live in his neighborhood (I live in South MS) 5 hours away) I can't recommend this shop enough... O yeah I forgot to mention, his shop is spotless and no matter how old or dirty your vehicle is he WILL put a dust mat in so he can take it for a test drive, even my 12 year old kid mobile that had dirty floors!!! He takes pride in his work and you can tell.

Awesome shop. I brought my 05 Envoy there and he had my vehicle done in 4 days. Pulling very strong. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. Thanks a million

Spoke to someone on the phone. Very helpful. Have not used his service yet but from the help he gave me on the phone and his desire to be helpful, he would be the firsts company I will use. I can understand why he gets a five star rating.

Excellent service, honest, super nice, and price was fair. I would definitely be a return customer if I wasn't moving out of state. Do yourself a favor and just go to these guys first.
