I called SC to ask for an estimate to repair speakers in my daughter s car. They immediately asked me to have her come down and agreed to fit her in the same day. Excellent customer service. Gave my daughter a ride home while they worked on her car. Made pickup fit my schedule. 10/10 recommend. Overall impeccable experience. They even personalized the experience by leaving a sweet note for her in the car and a gift.

I recently had Southern Customs upgrade my 2016 Toyota 4Runner s headlights from the original to led. They efficiently removed the old headlights and replaced them in half the time they originally quoted me. I am very satisfied with their work and have utilized their services several times in the past. I highly recommend them.

Bought a used Jeep and the stereo didn t work. Asked them to troubleshoot and fix the system. They replaced 4 speakers, and some wiring. After that the sound was intermittent. Took it back and they said it tested fine. The issue came back within a day. Hit a bump and the speaker goes out. When I checked the wiring at the amp I found the sound went in and out when I touched the connectors. Faulty amp. Also, the speakers they installed were not wired correctly. Fade and Balance showed they didn t even check to verify the front and rear, left and right speakers were correctly connected.Wound up taking it to a professional stereo installation- should have done that to begin with - and they fixed it. Said the wiring was a mess. The poor wiring may have been there from before Southern Customs, but SC didn t fix it like they should have. And they wired the stereos wrong OR at the very least didn t check to make sure the speakers they installed were connected to the correct output channel.EDITThis review is about the stereo install.1 I asked that you fix the system. You told me your hourly rate. I said fix it 2 you replaced speakers and left the broken amp in place. Sound travels from the receiver, through the amp, to the speakers. Replacing speakers when the amp is faulty does not resolve the problem. That is why only a day after you repaired the system It was not working.3 I brought the jeep back after the sound went out. You could find nothing wrong.4 during MY subsequent troubleshooting of the system I found the amp was bad AND the speakers you installed were not even wired correctly.5 I did t call to apologize for anything. I called to cancel my appointment for you to further troubleshoot the system because I lost faith your guy know what he was doing.Do better

Wow! What an awesome experience. I had my windows tinted and a few other things done on my new Ford Ranger. The work was done on time, professionally, AND cost less than I was quoted! The young lady at the front desk was so helpful! She made everything clear and made some great suggestions. I wish all my auto experiences were like the one I had at Southern Customs in Ellijay, Ga.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I stopped by to get an estimate to have an upgraded suspension package installed on my MB 3500 chassis RV. Jerith took time to explain the process and gave me a very fair estimate for the work. They seem to fully understand that customer service is key to a successful business. I look forward to doing business with them.

The team @ southern customs hit a home run. My wife and I went there to spruce up her truck for her birthday. Wow! We were blown away with our new truck. 100% Trust. All we needed was a little lift, wheels and tires. They treated us like family from jump. I never felt like I was being sold anything, on the other hand, I was given objective opinions which worked out perfectly. Thanks Chris and the gang for a job well done!!!

All these guys/gals did was keep my Jeep for a month and a half and then be nicer than a bag full of kittens.Chris took all my money and Jenny just kept saying .sadly I ll be coming back and dropping more $$$ s with these knuckleheads. 5 s for these guys/gals. Top notch.

I hate to leave a bad review.Very nice people, but the prices seem a little wild. Sadly, when I got my stereo installed my passenger airbag was popped, they didn't say anything and when I brought it back tried gluing the interior down and I guess that's all they were willing to do. They were far enough away from me, I didn't really keep following up and fight with them about it. I just drove with a disabled passenger airbag for the rest of the life of the car since mechanics I took it to couldn't find an affordable solution. Really pretty terrible outcome.Stereo and backup camera worked great though..!Reply to owner:It was a good few years ago, 5 or 6, but definitely here. Google just asked me to review since I recently came in to do a different car's stereo since there's so few places that do it and was a bit shocked by the price. 3-5x the other quotes I've gotten. Was hard to ignore that previous experience though.The airbag wasn't fully deployed, just the interior for it was stuck popped up and wouldn't go down and the airbag light was on forever after telling me it's non-functional. Installer told me light would turn off eventually and I could drop it off later to get that interior fixed. Airbag was never repaired and when I dropped it off the interior was still bulging out, but now jammed shut, visibly glued in place, a permanent gnarly eyesore and danger to passengers.

The lady that helped me was so nice and gave me different options on my truck window tinting. I will be going back on May 24th for the tinting. I ll let you know how it went.

Had a stereo put in my 2002 F-150. These guys had great customer service. Kris went above and beyond in helping me with going over new stereo. I highly recommend using southern customs in ellijay. If you have to wait, it s totally worth it. I am very pleased with new stereo. As well as professionally doing window tent. Totally changed my non custom truck. To something I am very pleased with. Thank you, southern customs. You guys are top notch!!

Phenomenal service. A little pricey but in automotive customs you get what you pay for and southern customs does not disappoint. Their work is amazing and they know what they are doing. If you are on the fence, just do it. Trust them. I'll be back for more work in the future.

A little glitchy at first, but this crew is very busy and has a lot of work before them, they are fast and do competent work diagnosing the electronics of a custom system they didn't install ~ after figuring out the system they wired it correctly wasting no time ~ they know their way around the electronics of wiring a vehicle ~ would definitely use them again, and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for answers to a custom system in a vehicle. Thank you Kris and the commited employees of Southern Customs ~

Rude lady working front counter, acted bothered I was even there, interupted me when I was trying to speak. She wanted $50.00 to schedule appointment, first available almost a month out. They wanted me to leave my truck from 8am untill 5pm. I have used this place multiple times in the past for window tinting, they have always done a great job. You lost my buisness today, I guess you have more buisness than needed with customer no service.I set in your parking lot and made a appointment with Sun Rays in Jasper for next week. Took 5 mins, freindly on the phone, listened to what I wanted. Didn't need $50.00. I could wait while it is being done. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PLACE AROUND, ITS WINDOW TINTING NOT BRAIN SURGERY.It takes years to win a customer and only seconds to loose one....

He did GREAT on my window tint and custom door speakers as well as installing a new head unit and new dash speakers, couldn't be happier with it. I will also be getting a toolbox and 2 10 in subs from him soon because of his great work and exceeding expectations. So Boom FIVE STARS IS WHAT THEY DESERVE

Top notch. Always always ALWAYS. Awnings and tint in this picture. They do great audio work as well.
