The guys at Mavis are stellar. We brought in 2 wheelbarrow tires to be changed out with new rubber. They weren't sure if their machine would handle such a small tire, but said they'd give it a try. They got it done quickly and didn't charge us. Good service, good attitudes and a willingness to help. Can't go wrong there! Really great bunch of people

Great service, fast, friendly and reasonably priced. I was in on a Saturday after making an appointment online just the night before. They pulled my car right in and got one of the dozen people there started on it. I could see that certain people were doing certain things and I thought WOW what a great way to manage a crew on a Saturday! I live local but work out of town, I was so glad to finally have somewhere that I could get a Saturday appointment. My husband went earlier in the week without an appointment and he was in and out speedy service for an alignment. I recommend this place to everyone!

With my car packed the night before I was ready for a trip north only to discover in the morning I had a nail in the front tire. I called Mavis, I've never been a customer, and was told if I could get the car there they could start working on it right away. I made it there expecting a wait but they were honest to their word and got the car right in. 40 minutes later the car was returned to me with the other wheels completely checked just in case. I asked how much and was told simply have a great trip. So, a big shout out to Zach and Ed and Mavis for great service. Thank you. You have a new customer.

I can t say enough good things about Mavis Tires! I stopped in without an appointment because there was a nail in my tire. The men that I spoke with were professional and courteous. They took my truck right away and patched up my tire. The service was fast! If you re looking for a place for anything tire related, check them out, you won t be disappointed!

These guys were amazing! We had a flat tire just as they were closing, but they gave us a link for roadside assistance. Tom showed up and changed our tire quickly. The damaged tire we took to Mavis Tires for repair the next morning. They repaired our tire (plugged) put it back on the truck and replaced our spare back under the truck. We could not be happier! Definitely recommend if you are ever in need! We were only charged for the roadside assistance. No charge for tire repair and putting everything back as was.

Happy accident working with this location. Pulled into the entrance of the shopping plaza and ran over a giant nail and blew out a brand new tire. Pulled right in and explained the situation. It was an hour before close but the staff working on 3/3/2024 took care of it right away and had me patched up and ready to roll in less than 30 minutes. Diddnt even charge me. I m from Atlanta, and I was expecting to deal with poor service and pay $100. So incredibly thankful for this place. Will recommend!!

The guys at Mavis were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a quote to replace the rear suspension on our Lexus. This was a job that we had a difficult time finding a mechanic for. They stuck to their quoted price, which was significantly lower than than the dealerships quoted price. We will definitely be using them again..

Driving home from out of town to realize our brakes weren't working effectively. Stopped in at Mavis; Phil, Zach and John treated us with respect, got the parts ordered quickly, gave us a fair deal and got us fixed up the same day. To find somewhere that could do this kind of job on a Sunday, was a blessing. Thank you for keeping us safe on the road.

I had ran over a large piece of metal and found this tire shop in a convenient location. They took care of us with a smile on their face and was really quick! Definitely the best Tire shop with the best customer service I ve ever been to!

Needed a valve stem replaced brought it in work was done within 15 minutes and didn't charge us anything. Great place and great people! Highly recommend

I scheduled a 4pm appointment with this location, and I arrived 3:55. One of the employees got my car in the bay promptly. At 4:45, my car had not been touched. I got up from the waiting area and the manager noticed I was checking on my car through their windows. He told me that his guy was finishing on one and will get to me next. I looked to see which employee he was referring to, and the employee was diligently trying to finish that other car. In the meantime, a white newer Dodge Ram pulls in the bay next to me. I watched 2 of the guys promptly jump on that truck s service , and they left mine untouched even though the manager said I was next in line. 5:10 pm rolls around, and I see there is no intention of working on my vehicle in the next little bit. I wasn t hateful, and I told the manager that I had been there 1 hour and 10 minutes for a tiny little nail to be removed from my tire. I had to leave, because I had other places to be. It took about 10 minutes to get an employee loose long enough to back my car out of the bay. I am so disappointed in their service. I would not recommend them if you are on a time crunch. This isn t necessarily what happened, but what I felt like was the truck that pulled in 50 minutes after me was more important. It s unfortunate. I hope the manager can learn to properly manage his crew s time. I won t be back.To top it off, their bathrooms were not functional. The men s and women s toilets would not flush. For a brand new location, this is not acceptable.

Ran over a chain saw part with our tire and almost every other auto mechanic repair shop was closed. Mavis provided the best service and helped us get the tire repaired. 100 percent recommend!

We are new to the area and have now visited the store twice. Shortly after we arrived, 3/4 of our tires needed air because of the cold temp, and my wife swung by the store to use their free air pump. My wife shared that when she stopped by she hadnt even jumped out of the car and she was met by an employee who offered to fill up her tire for her (which was great!). Yesterday, we stopped by after we had a tire that was continually loosing air. They had our vehicle up and tire off for an inspection within about 15 minutes. They found a leak, fixed it for free, and they sent us on our way. We greatly appreciate the service and we will definitely return when we have other needs!!!

Stopped to air up my spare tire, the gentleman walked up and asked if I needed help. I asked if they could patch a tire for me, they actually took the tire and patched it for me free of charge! I was in a hurry had to be at work, so today I'm going to go by there and have them mount the tire for me. They have my business now, very polite and respectful.

My tire pressure light came on and I seen they had air. I pulled in and the associate came out to put the air in my tires. He checked all of my tires and found an issue with my valve stem. He and the manager checked it out and fixed it with in minutes. They are very friendly and I will definitely check them out when I need new tires!

The staff at the Ellijay store was amazing and fast. They helped me in a pinch with my tire and got me back on the road quickly. Customer service was excellent and would highly recommend.

Wow! I am beyond impressed with the great care we were given. They took care of our family even when they were about to close so we could make our trip back home. The staff was professional and the waiting area was so clean and welcoming for kids. I highly recommend them and will be happy to use them in the future!!!!

Was in Blue ridge visiting for the holidays and ended up with a flat tire due to a nail in the tire. The staff was very helpful and quick in getting our tire repaired a back to us. They made our inconvenience much more convenient with the help they offered us!

I had a scheduled appointment at Mavis Tire and Brakes for 11 am, but my experience was disheartening. Upon entering the lobby at 11:01, the service attendant was engaged with a lady already in line. He walked to her vehicle three times diagnosing her problem even after she only asked for a price check and appointment. I patiently waited for 25 minutes before someone else attended to me.After another additional 20 minutes I was informed that my tires' tread on the inside was excessively worn, making it unsuitable for rotation and balancing. Strangely, after learning from a subsequent Google search on how to measure tire depth with a quarter, revealed that my tread depth was 4/32 deep in every location, inside and out, on every tire.The attempt to upsell me on a new set of tires felt unnecessary and questionable given the conflicting information. I'm left dissatisfied and plan to seek a second opinion from another business.I will leave two stars, since the lady in front me received such good service.

We were visiting up here on vacation on 12/31. They took us right in, patched the tire and had us out very fast so we could enjoy our vacation. Then called us back b/c my son forgot his hoodie. They brought it to the door for me! AWESOME customer service and suggest them 100%

Great experience! Would definitely recommend! The entire staff was pleasant and worked diligently. TJ was very helpful and took his time to explain the issues with my vehicle and keep me informed throughout my brief wait!

Wish I could have left 0 stars.I had 2 vehicles with tires rotated and balanced. One with oil change.Oily greasy hand prints left on the hoods of both vehicles and steering wheels. The vehicle that the oil was changed in it had oil poured all over the engine and dripping down from underneath so bad on my driveway that I thought the plug was not in.The plug was in, but it was coming from the mess they left underneath.I will never take a vehicle there again.
