DO NOT go to this company I went to have my tires flipped on my car in the process of the work being done I was told that the wheels may get scratched i am ok with a little scratch what i am not ok with is 3 out of 4 wheels having gashes taken out of them looking like I ran into a curb at 40mph. as they are custom wheels costing me 1200$ and them refusing to right there wrongs if you care about your car do not have Ellijay tire work on it

I m so thankful for the amazing customer service at Ellijay Tire. They made no money off of me (because my tire wasn t in stock) but were so incredibly helpful with an issue I had. They helped me get on the road safely and offered a ton of help and support. I hope I don t have a tire issue in Ellijay again but if I do I know where I m going first.

In Ellijay on vacation and hit a road hazard and flattened my tire and scuffed the rims up. They replaced the flat tire, cleaned the rims and reseated the other tire a tripled checked for leaks. The entire process was less than an hour even though they were pretty steady. Great friendly people , greeted and thanked me. Great price and service. Definitely recommended this place if you are in Ellijay and need tire service.Thanks for a great experience, wish more places were like this.

Blew a tire on the way to Ellijay. Came to Ellijay tire and got 2 new ones reasonably priced and we were in and out in 30 minutes! Great shop great service.

Update - I followed up with Ellijay tire based on their reply. I emailed the contact information requested. I never heard back. I believe in second chances but definitely not a third. I won't be back.How a business loses a long term customer:I dropped my truck off on Monday 1/29 for an oil change and to have new wheels mounted on new tires (which I provided). I told Ellijay Tire to keep the truck as long as needed as I was in no rush and had a ride. I was told my truck would be available after lunch. I arrived around 2pm and was told my truck was ready. There seemed to be a question whether the oil was actually changed or not. I was told it definitely was because it was "on the board" I make the 30 minute drive home and then notice the sticker on the windshield was the old one. I called to inquire and was informed if the sticker wasn't changed than neither was the oil. Keep in mind they had my truck most of the day and I had already paid $80.00 for the oil change. I brought the truck back today around 8:20 and asked if it could be rushed because I didn't want to be late for work and didn't have a ride today.. They took the truck immediately back to the service area out of sight. During this time customers had come and gone. I asked for an update after 40 minutes. I was then told the mechanic was having trouble getting the filter off. It was pretty obvious they hadn't even started on the truck until I asked for the update and this was just an excuse. I was then told 15 more minutes. After 30 minutes an employee went to check on the status AGAIN. At this time I was already late for work, Finally received the truck after another 5 minutes. I understand things happen and mistakes can be made but here is where Ellijay Tire lost me as a customer. There was barely an apology and no offer to compensate for my time. This is why I won't be back.

I was visiting in Ellijay, when suddenly my car indicated a low tire. (those dang unpaved roads). I and my lunch companions looked for the closest tire service location and pulled in 2 mins later. The guys quickly found the nail in my tire, repaired it in 20 mins and made sure to add air where needed in my other tires. We enjoyed a delicious hot cup of coffee while waiting. So thankful for such kind and super efficient service! Support your local businesses! Highly recommend them.

Lord help they sure are proud of their tires! Charged me $150 for a single tire ! I asked them to check the others because I had a blow out. Two days later my other back tire popped! Went to Walmart got a whole set for $300!!

I stopped by on my way out of town because my tire pressure was low and I was driving back to ATL. They were nice and quick and got me back on the road. If you ever are in Ellijay and have a tire concern, make your way there!

Great local shop with honest trustworthy people! The shop was very clean and they had a great selection of tires and other parts. There were a lot of locals in the waiting room who had been going there for years and it was obvious that they were repeat customers because of the great past experiences they had. I would highly recommend them!

They put my RV tires on wrong. Around Atlanta it began coming off. The mechanic we brought it to told us the tire was put on wrong. When I called and told them about the damage and the nearly avoided accident, the owner lied about having verified the work done with the technician and refused to claim this on his insurance. He told us the issue was present before, which is why we had bought the new rim. We drove the RV from Michigan without a problem, but driving it 60 miles after the tire change and the previous issue happened to occur? My wife and I caught the technician putting the tire on wrong and filmed him after that. Since the owner is not taking responsibility for the actions that almost cost us our health, I'm warning everyone that goes to this business. Get the work verified. I had to take the tire to them twice to get a leak fixed and due to the inexperience of his technician, we were almost seriously injured... or worse.

Been dealing with Ellijay Tire my whole life. Never a bad experience. Very knowledgeable and more than just tires. Alignments, breaks, and they've been able to narrow down other issues I'm having and that's been a great benefit.A+ Recommend

Nice friendly service. Large selection of tires. Helpful advice in making my selection. My only complaint is that when they ordered my 4 tires from the warehouse, they only received 2, and they didn't notice the discrepancy until I came in to have the tires put on. They had to reorder the 2 additional tires and I had to come back another day to get my tires put on. They were apologetic, but it was still inconvenient for me.

Excellent service. Went in for low pressure light on a new car. They helped us very quickly knowing that the car and tires were new. They've earned our business and referrals in the future.

Got a flat while on vacation (05/06/2022) and this place had the tire I needed at a very competitive price. Very friendly and prompt service! I was in and out within two hours. Quite fantastic considering I was a walk-in. They even had some really neat puzzles to solve while you wait! All in all, lovely place with an awesome staff! If you have the misfortune of needing a new tire, do yourself a favor and pay Elijay Tire Company a visit!

I stopped to get tires only because mine were so worn I was afraid I wouldn't make it home and was told it would be an hour and a half wait. So 3.5 hours later I finally got out of there. Nothing special just 2 tires but I watched the help goof off and play around. It took 30 to 45 minutes to breakdown my tires and mount new ones and put them on. Slowest service I've ever seen. Pretty sure I won't be back.

BEST SERVICE EVER! I had an unfortunate encounter with a curb and Ellijay tire took such great care of me. I don t live local, so they were really considerate to help me get back on the road as soon as they could. The car is as good as new! Not only was Karen super helpful and kind, but the rest of the staff was also so wonderful. I am super happy with my experience and would gladly recommend anyone to Ellijay Tire!

I was in a rental car and I had a low tire. I went to Ellijay tire and they got me in, and tires filled up right away. really nice and friendly stuff.

Needed to get a tire repaired/ patched. Told me over two hrs!!!Said they were short on technicians!Maybe they should pay better!They said to get there the following day before they opened and get in line!!I went to Walmart and they were busy but got me taken care of quickly!!

Great people and great service! Did what they said they would do...performed the work quickly, professionally and efficiently.As I waited for my vehicle I was amazed by the amount of time and effort taken to help people make wise decisions about their vehicle maintenance.I have sent several of my neighbors to Ellijay Tire because I know that they will be treated with honesty and integrity!I am a repeat customer that will continue to do business!!

Ellijay Tire Company (ET) is the BEST family owned business. We had just started our return to FL after spending a week on top of Cherry Log mountain. While driving down the mountain a sharp stone punctured our rear tire. We were able to get keep some air in it and found our way to ET. We were #5 on the repair list with an estimated 45 minute wait. While in the waiting area we enjoyed seeing a family photo collage of the Ellijay family. After only a 35 minute wait, our tire was ready to be examined. After another 45 minutes we were back on the road heading home to FL. We were TOTALLY satisfied with ET and are very HAPPY to recommend ET to anyone needing tire service in and around Elliljay, GA. Thank you again Ellijay Tire Company.

Came into town from Missouri for a family vacation and the drive down took a toll on my tires. We realized we couldnt make the trip back, so in a pinch on a Saturday, we called to see if they had tires. They had a few options to choose from and went above and beyond service-wise, very friendly. Highly recommend.

I own a business in Ellijay and have known the owners of Ellijay Tire many years. I can t speak highly enough of Russell and his whole family. My husband and I have had many tires changed in all those years. I ve never had a bad experience. Owning a business which requires employeesAlways leaves room for error. I know this first hand. I ve never known of a single instance of error that would not be addressed by Russell and dealt with swiftly. I commend him on his continued effort to offer this service (which we all need) to all of our community. I am thankful we have local people with morals and true ethics to assist us when necessary. You don t realize what business owners go through until you have become an active participant in supplying the needs of all those living here and passing through. We genuinely care for our community and their safety! I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Russell and his family for all they do and let them know how much we appreciate their effort. Thank you, Russell! May God continue to bless you and your dear family!

Brakes are by appointment only. Fortunately, only had to wait a couple days to get in. Given clear options to come in at 8am or 9am, so I selected the soonest one - 8am.Arrived that morning before 8am and handed my keys over when she confirmed the vehicle. 2 hours later, asked why it's taking so long and they said they didn't start till 9am which turns out to be a clerical error they made for appointment. Got an apology from manager, but if you wrote down the wrong time AND I show up an hour early, wouldn't you wonder why and inform me of that? Very frustrated.Not my first visit, but considering it my last.

I get very weary of tire and lube places. But I love this place. Highly recommend. Even tho my wheel was destroyed because I let someone else put it on back at Christmas, they were very nice about it and gave me numbers to places that sold wheels. Family owned. It reminds me of my dad when he owned his own garage years ago. And EXCELLENT customer service. The owner is nice. I watched a customer give him a hard time and he handled it very professionally.

Me and my family have been going to Ellijay Tire, for tires and oil changes, for almost 20 years. They have always treated us like family, and our cars like they were their own. This is a family owned business and they are such hard working, ethical, good people - evident by the return customers in Ellijay and surrounding areas. I would trust them completely with any service needed for my cars! I have recently moved from the area, but will continue to commute to them for any tire needs. Thank you Ellijay Tire for all the years of wonderful service!!
