I got my car stuck and needed to be towed up the driveway of the cabin I was staying at. After dealing with AAA for over 15 hours, I called Georgia Mountain Towing to see what their timeframe was. They showed up in less than 30 minutes and were able to tow my car off of the driveway and park it for me. It was a little pricey but worth every penny for how quickly and professionally they worked. I would definitely recommend this company.Service: Car towing

We parked our RV at a storage facility only to have it sink in the dirt. Our attempts to dislodge it failed and a tow truck was an obvious necessity. I called Georgia Mountain Towing and they came from across Gilmer County, on a Sunday, in short order. They took care to attach the tow cables with care and made sure the fiberglass front of the coach wasn't damaged. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost. I figured it would have been more. The gentleman were both courteous, professional, quick, and not over priced. I recommend them.Service: Special vehicle towing

I high centered my car on a flat rock in the middle of nowhere. Jamie and Jeff rescued me. They were polite and professional. It took a great deal of maneuvering to get the car off the rock without damaging it. Thanks to Jamie's skill, they accomplished this. We used to use this business when I lived in Ellijay Georgia. (At least 5 times)They were reasonably priced until the last few times. I actually ended up just leaving a car there the last time I used them.Read the other reviews. The one guy had stuff stolen. I'd say that's about right considering their employee base.First couple times I used them was super short hauls for like $50 last time like 7 or 8 miles $390. So I chose to leave the junk jeep.Will never recommend this company and during my time in Ellijay I sent Jeff and a lot of business.There should also be a disclosure law about parolees and drug addicts that are convicted felons working with the public like they now employee.Services: Car towing, Local hauling

Jaime came to change my flat tire they were nice enough I even gave them a $10 tip. The problem started right then and there. They took my lock for my rims with them. While my tire was being repaired at Ellijay tire they promised to drop it off. He affirmed that he took it by mistake.Ellijay tire had to scramble to try and find a matching lock since they did not come by.They made something work. Two days later they still had not dropped it off three text later he kept promising to drop it off at my house.It has been over two weeks and he is not responsive. I would not trust these people to mow my grass. As far as I m concerned they are thieves at this point. Now I got to go spend 20 bucks to go get my locks if I can find it. Now I m going to file a complaint with State Farm who sent them.Services: Local hauling, Tire change

I locked my keys in the car and I called them for assistance. They were there in less than 10 mins. They were very friendly and helpful.. I strongly recommend them. If you want quick service and respectful people helping you. They were really a blessing for me.

My husband and I used to use them exclusively until their prices went outrageous and the timeliness and quality fell.I don't recommend. The 2 men who came out to tow us were so nice. We had gotten stuck in gravel in someone's steep driveway trying to turn around and needed help ASAP. We called around and no one was available. I got stuck in a ditch on a Sunday afternoon. I called a few other services, and there was no answer. I called GA mountain towing, and was told someone would be out in an hour.. Thank you so much for coming out in a timely manner! My friend got stuck in the mud in this morning in all that crazy rain. I called a tow truck to get my friend out. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. I didn t use this business because the address is incorrect. 2228 Hwy 52 West is actually, GA Mountain Towing, a totally different towing company than App towing not associated at all. Anyway, the guys at Ga Mnt Towing were amazing at meeting my towing needs. Note to App towing: change your address because it s very unprofessional and misleading!

Jeff and Jamie came in after they had gone home for the night to tow me to my campsite for the weekend since I was closer to camp than to home and AAA had abandoned me. They managed to guide my broken down vehicle into my campsite in the dark in the middle of the night. Then came back to retrieve us and towed us all the way back to Asheville after our weekend was salvaged by being allowed to happen despite truck troubles. These guys went above and beyond after AAA left me out in the dark and cold and never called me back with a dispatch after 6 hours. Janie and Jeff made my Mother s Day camp out at Mulberry Gap possible and I couldn t be more grateful! Amazingly kind, southern gentleman that were not at all put out by a tough little lady like myself as I was loading bikes on and off to keep themSafe during the transfers. If you re stuck anywhere near Ellijay these are the guys you want to get you where you need to go!!!Service: Car towing

Locked myself out of my car. They came around 9pm about 15min after I called them. Price was a little bit steep. They wanted $60 initially, but I only had $40 on me so they let it slide... Otherwise great, quick and friendly!

Hey came and helped me and my Father and Mother remove a truck out of a storage unit . Jamie was great pulled it out .He also removed a X mark and loaded it on a U-Haul trailer .He was great really great at his job

Our truck got stuck coming up our gravel drive during a recent snow storm. Our insurance company contacted Georgia Mountain Towing and called us to say they would be out in 2-3 hours to help us. They never showed up and when we called they said they knew nothing about it. They were very abrupt on the call. The next day they were again supposed to come and again did not show up. My insurance company finally got another company who showed up on time and was friendly and polite. I would never call Georgia Mountain Towing. I would have given NO stars, but you have to give one to post.

My truck got stuck on the side of a hill in the mountains. They were able to come help me on short notice, were super nice, and reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again.

I didn t end up having to tow my vehicle, but the man that dealt with me was one of the kindest guys I ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with. My situation was complicated & he did anything & everything to help me. If you need a tow, use this company. 10 stars for customer service. Thank you so very much for all your help.

Didn t actually need to use them, I called to get a price on what they would charge to move a truck across the street. About 10 feet. They said minimum 125 bucks, so I called Gilmer towing instead and he charged 50 and was much nicer too.

If I could give negative stars, I would. We were trying to get my nephews truck after an accident over the weekend. The truck was their less than 12 hours and they still wanted $300 for us to get it out. Got there to get it out, and they only take cash. Went back with cash, they didn't want to give us a receipt. Owner was very rude and short with my mother because she insisted on a receipt. Said normally tow truck yards won't let you change a tire or something so the vehicle can be driven. Won't recommend!

If I've ever needed a vehicle towed in that part of the state, this is the company I've most often used. They have always been fast to respond and their prices have always been fair. I definitely recommend them!!

We got stuck in a ditch and two men in your truck just happened by. They stopped, took a quick look and said they could help. They determined it could be driven out and jumped in and got it out safely. They asked for no payment. They saved us a big delay and possible damage to our car. We really appreciate them stopping and getting us out. They did not have to do that. 10/21/17 Dalton Rd.

They got to me very quickly thankfully. Pulled me out of the ditch I slid into in the rain in less than 5 mins( easy pull). The price was a bit to much i feel however.

I've been in the car business for over 25yrs and was stuck in a ditch after a snow storm. I called this company because I had done business in the past with them. They pulled my car out of the ditch approx 10ft and drove my car 1 mile to my house and then charged me $300.00 and called it snow and ice fee!!!! RIP OFF ARTISTS is what I call it BEWARE and get a price in advance. I don't mind paying for a service but hate to be ripped off and that's what they did!!!!

These guys are the best. They came out to my place on short notice to help me get a derelict vehicle out of the woods and took it to their yard for a transport to pick up (the transport was already on it's way). They really got me out of a jam. Reasonable prices too.

READ THIS BEFORE USE!!!!! I crashed my truck and they where very unprofessional about their business. I had a $250 flag poll holder for my truck and they tried to steal that and I finally caught them in the act!!
