Ron could not be nicer, more helpful or honest. I was in from out of town and having trouble with my transmission. He had one of his guys working on it within minutes to help me know if I was safe to keep travelling. These guys are the real deal!!! Sooo knowledgeable and HONEST. Can t say enough good. They got me back on the road with a minimal charge. I was blown away. Thanks Mr Rogers.

Aamco on Pleasant Hill Rd is a great company with great people, I had been having trouble with my transmission for years and I took it to them and they were quick honest and great on updating me with the progression from beginning to end. Ron was the main person I communicated with and he did his best to give me the best value and actually cared about my problem, will definitely do business with them again!

Today, I went to Aamco Transmission Shop in Duluth, Georgia to fix my transmission problem, and it was fixed perfectly. I'm writing this to leave a review, Special Mr. Ron he is awesome. He was very kind and followed up so well for the next few days, making it very comfortable and trustworthy for me to leave my car. He also found and fixed other areas that needed attention, going above and beyond in his kindness. I am grateful for his kindness and highly recommend him. I hope many people have their problems resolved thanks to Mr. Ron and Aamco Transmission Shop. Thank you.

You hear on the radio that this place is trust dale certified as trustworthy and i have to say they mean it the guys running the place have experience and wont charge you for anything unnecessary. They dont just tell you you need a transmission etc unless they really have evidence that you do. For me in my situation they did not have enough evidence that i needed anything at this time and to bring it back in if anything with the car changes. That tells you what you need to know about them you can trust them!

They fixed it in 3 days when I was quoted 30 by the dealer. One of the only places left with over 50 years of experience. It feels good to know my vehicle was fixed with no "monkey business".

I went to this location because it was recommended by friends and the other reviews. I ended up needing a complete overhaul of my transmission. I picked up my vehicle a week ago, still in the break period, but I have 500 miles on it and seems to be running like new. On another note. Ron and RC are the guys to see. They are very professional and they will be honest and tell you exactly what you are going to need. I plan on updating my review at a later date, probably after about 10,000 miles. I brought my Ford 150 there for a complete Transmission servicing because it was acting up. That was about 2 years ago and it has ran beautifully since. Working with the head guy Ron is always a pleasure. He s professional and a great communicator. I recently brought my Fusion in for service and had a feeling I needed a new transmission since I have pretty good knowledge of transmissions myself. Ron was able to research and find me a new transmission and now my Fusion runs GREAT. I think the best thing about AAMCO is their warranties. It gives me peace of mind after forking out a good bit of money for a new transmission. I really recommend AAMCO of Duluth, GA. Thank you!Service: Transmission

After my first experience in getting a transmission rebuilt on my irocZ28 back in 1999 in Florida, I was skeptical about getting this one done my 1996 Ram 1500 but those guys are the real deal. I've waited close to a year to give my review to make sure I wasn't gonna have any problems and sure enough my truck's transmission is working like new. A week after it was done I had to go back because of a bad torque converter but they fixed it without hesitation. Money and time wasn't an issue as long as it was done right and it was. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a transmission rebuilt.

Incredible service. My engine oil was leaking everywhere and Ammco were able to fix my car and without scheduling an appointment. Ron was very helpful

Originally had my vehicle's transmission repaired and was pleased with the workmanship and communication with them. Not only was the service great but the pricing was reasonable. Since then, I have used them for all my service on my H3.YES - they do more than transmissions! Great to see a business that still understands customer service! Fast and knowledgeable. Take your transmission to the guys that do this for a living. After plenty of drama with my transmission and doing my own research it was nice to find a place where everyone I spoke with actually knew what they were talking about. Ron and Brent were very professional and helpful. They really tried their best to show me all the options available to me and helped me find the best one for me. Price was very affordable and reasonable in my opinion. Willing to answer all my questions. My transmission went out on a Friday and was back on the road the following Friday super quick and amazing of course time will depend on how quick parts arrive at their shop and of course something like that is out of their control but once they got everything they need they go to work. Just truly an amazing and painless experience. 100% recommend these guys.Service: Transmission

In a world where so many companies value the "bottom line" more than the customer, the team at AAMCO is a breath of fresh air. After my car was driven they could have easily told me that I had a transmission problem and charge me a "nice fee". However, I was told that it appears that my car problem was a catalytic converter issue. Then another shop was recommended and they fixed the problem.Integrity sums it up.Service: Transmission

My car broke down on the road. I could not find a station to help me until I ran across Britt at AAMCO we were on vacation and we re headed back home when the car broke down. Brett, quickly found the part we needed and they fixed it the same day it arrived. They got me out of there a day earlier than they said they would and worked very hard to get me back on the road. If I didn t live ten hours away they would be my new go to shop. I highly recommend this place and I highly recommend Britt.. they were very good at explaining exactly what I was getting and exactly what was wrong with my car. I actually thought it was the transmission but they found out it was the transfer case. They only replaced what needed to be replaced and I think they treated me very well. They made sure that I understood the warranties on the parts. This place is one of the few honest places I ve seen. I highly highly recommend themService: Transmission

Ron was amazing! So kind and helpful. They are good people, I can t stress that enough. Very professional and get you serviced quick. I got a warranty as well, so I am driving with no worries for 3 years! I highly recommend. Don t go to the local mechanic invest in your automobile and go to this Aamco, everyone is nice. My younger brother Sam recommended this shop to me and referred me to Ron for what I thought was a transmission issue with my 2005 Toyota Highlander. From my interactions with Ron over the phone and in person, I found Ron to be responsive and honest. He answered my questions and helped me understand the issue (a malfunctioning internal computer) that had caused my vehicle to incorrectly receive a signal from the computer and not operate as it should operate. Since I could not remember the last time I had drained my transmission fluid or if I had ever drained the transmission fluid from my vehicle (my own fault), Ron recommended that I not do anything to disturb the still functioning transmission, since the installation of a new computer seemed to have rectified the grinding noises I had first heard while driving. I appreciated Ron not attempting to sell me a product or service that I did not need (yet) but instead advising me to drive my vehicle (perhaps a year or longer) until it would be apparent that the only solution would be a new transmission. This is what I appreciate and respect from a mechanic or any service oriented professional - properly educating the consumer to know the best course of action he or she should take and not working to bend the truth or recommend a service or part that is not in fact and truth needed (at least not now). Honesty is the best policy and that is how any person should do business. And honestly educating the consumer to know how to proceed sits right at the top there too. Ron and the guys over at AAMCO in the Duluth location off Pleasant Hill were awesome! I ve brought my car there twice now and have been absolutely satisfied for doing so. I recently brought it in to get my wheel bearings replaced. Car is running great now. The first time I brought it there I thought my 2006 Lexus had a transmission issue and was ready to just let it go. However, after a couple conversations with the guys I decided to let them fix it. Best decision I could ve made! Ron assured me he could get the car up and running for a great price. He just needed a little time finding parts because this was when Covid first happened. Had I not fixed my car I probably would ve had to spend $5k-$10k for a reliable used car or even getting a new car and have another car payment for the next 5 years! But for a little under $2k my car was up and running again. The guys at AAMCO saved me a lot of money and headaches.I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle here if you have any problems with it. You will not be cheated in pricing, they are up front with you about everything, very respectful, knowledgeable and they make you feel welcomed. I took my daughter's car here to get her transmission checked and she needed anew transmission. The day I dropped it off Mr. Ron made us feel comfortable and called with knowledge so we wouldn't be educated about the process and price. I allowed them to do the work and we are completely satisfied. We have a 3 year warranty and I feel assured with my daughter driving now. Mr. Ron and his staff are great. After having gone to two other repair places, AAMCO at 2530 Pleasant Hill Rd (specifically, Ron) was able to tell me exactly what was wrong. Although it did not involve the transmission and it was not the type of work they do, Ron told me what needed to be done, recommended a particular Firestone, and even called ahead to explain the issues so when I got there, they already had a head start.This was beyond great service and I greatly appreciate it. The car was repaired within a reasonable time and at an affordable price.i would recommend this AAMCO highly.

I bought a used vehicle and the transmission had not been serviced properly. Needless to say it began giving trouble. I carried it to AAMCO and they diagnosed the problem. I had to replace the transmission. They explained to me what was wrong and my options. They were very nice and did an excellent job. My truck even gets better gas mileage now! Very professional team in diagnoses and providing solutions that you will find in Duluth GA. For over twenty years I have taken my vehicles here for service and never had a bad experience. If they cannot do the work, they will recommend others in the area. I recently replaced my transmission, and I'm very satisfied. During the time the vehicle was in service, I asked the team to give me estimates on other auto issues that I know I need to fix on this vehicle. The estimates were better than I received from other organizations. I had most of those issues address here as well because I was confident of the diagnosis. Thinking all this work will take two weeks or more to complete, I had my vehicle back in recorded time. Just 4 days. I debated writing a review for this place, about a year ago my car had to go in for repair, upon me picking it up I was ignored for a good 5 minutes and then finally someone acknowledged me. They were very rude to me and even showed me pictures of the work the technician did and proceeded to say very rudely"I am showing you these pictures so you can appreciate the work they did" very very unprofessional and a unpleasant experience, do not know if they felt like they could talk to me that way because I am a young woman who must not "know" the value of the work which at the end of they day I am a paying customer .would never return to this location again.
