On Mother s Day, I visited this location for gas and some snacks. The gas attendant was very rude, disrespectful, argumentative, and unprofessional. I said that I would not return and he told me good, not to come back in his store. All because he got frustrated for not knowing how to count back simple change. If you re having a bad day, do not come to work and take it out on customers. If I could rate a zero, I would. Awful .

Listen, I want to tell you about the food here; primarily the breakfast. So you know how there are stores that are like found in certain places or regions of each state? Well that's what Friendly Gus is. They are regional Gas Station/Travel centers that are found in middle GA.The one I want to tell you about in particular is found on Industrial Blvd. I had the breakfast that I want to tell you about!This is one of the stores that working people come to to get a really good breakfast, but need it to go. It's not fancy, it good! The grits are creamy not soupy, the eggs are scrambled just right, and the biscuits are not too light and not too heavy. They have several meats that are typical of breakfast and some not so unusual foods; corn dogs or chicken tenders anyone?But you don't have to be on your way to work to take advantage of this great cooking. They have very clean tables to eat at so you can take your time. Or take it back to the house or hotel. You should give them a try if you just want a well prepared good breakfast . This is why I give them 4 stars. Because of the tasty breakfast and the eating area is clean for real.

The fried food looks like it has been fried in old grease. The store is run down, nothing is in stock.

I always grab a snack and gas up here after my VA medical appointments. Good food always fresh. Never an issue with fuel quality. You could do a whole lot worse than Gus!!

Yall need to get off exit 49 on I-16 and hit up this gas station for some fried chicken. If you an catch them when everything is fresh, their friend chicken is some of the best in town (2nd best in town actually), and considering the price one could argue it is the best in town. Their fried pork chops are great. The broccoli casserole is great to get if they have it.For breakfast they got some good food as well and you can't go wrong with it. It is usually crowded, so you know it must be good.
