WARNING WARNING On 04/01024 I got my oil changed today at the Take 5 in Douglasville, GA on Hwy 5, and they probably got more oil on the outside of my Jeep than they did in the inside.And I paid good money for this? Unfortunately, you can t have negative stars on a review. But this job was so bad,, maybe you could take away a couple stories from other reviews?#Shameful.Just wondering if this is their acceptable standard of doing business?Or maybe just their example of a BAD April Fools Day joke.

Been using take 5 for sometime, and service has been awesome. However, I've always had some concern about their prices. I'm old school and I remember when an oil change was $30.00. Today I spent $ 98.00 with the military discount. I don't know about other but the high cost of services has truly affected my finances. So for those who can afford the cost Take 5 is a great service, but I'll be on you tube learning how to change my oil.

I arrived about 7pm. No one was in line before me. I went straight in. My hood latch wasn t working right. They tightened it for me. Explained how much oil my car needed etc. I was fine with the price and I was out within 15 min of arriving. As usual they offered a water and I gladly accepted. I was very pleased.

I wasn't paying attention to the time when I pulled into the Hwy 5 Douglasville GA location it was 640p...they close at 7. Previously being in food service management , I understand when it's time to close and somebody comes in wanting to be served. I would imagine it would be the same for an oil change place. I've been to this location before and it's been a good experience. Last night was no exception. I looked at the time and asked one of the employees they are open tomorrow (Sunday). And said I know you're trying to get out of here probably I can come back tomorrow. And he said no! I got you! It's no problem! I appreciate the customer service of the guys there. I had my oil changed and was pulling out by705p. I highly recommend this location for service!

Always a great experience. The young men working the hwy 5 location in Douglasville are polite, professional, and quick. If only every business were such a well oiled machine. Pun totally intended.Great job always. Will see you in a few thousand miles

Went to Take 5 in Douglasville, I knew the drain plug was stripped so I brought a new plug with me. Told them this as soon as I pulled up and they said that it wouldn t be a problem. After 5 minutes of them doing the routine checks on air filters, power steering fluid and topping off wiper fluid they came back to me with, man, your drain plug is stripped and we can t get off. Your plug is inverted and we don t have the tool for that type of plug bolt. I drive a Mazda CX-5. Not exactly an uncommon vehicle. Told them thanks for the free wiper fluid, close the hood and let me out of here.

Oil change service was quick which I am pleasantly pleased, however; while preforming inspection of my vehicle, the staff failed to look at my windshield wipers. It s got checked off as ok when could clearly have seen the drive side wiper was torn and in need of replacement. I was going to stop at an auto part store and purchase a new set and replace them myself. Just the fact that it was checked off as ok on inspection sheet makes me wonder what else did they missed?

I had my oil changed November 19th and it was a great experience there were four guys working on my car they replaced the windshield wipers after showing me that the rubber was coming off. They took the plug from the bottom of my car and drain the oil out the car. Which is something new because before they had a vacuum hose hanging from the ceiling. They checked the air and replaced as needed and topped off my fluids. Oil change and windshield wipers came to $112 because I had a $20 coupon. Very satisfied with the new team that they have and they explained everything as they went along. Thanks guys I had a wonderful experience and my car is running great. So

Very poor customer service. I was literally in line with one car ahead of me. When I pulled up the car next to me was in the same situation. A third car pulls up and they open bay number 3 and then stick the car behind me in that bay and put me behind the car that was next to me. I spoke up and the people working there just acted as if they were deaf. Very rude. Obviously, I will not be going back!!!They had good service at one point. Now, look at the negative reviews. Look at their responses. They care less and know nothing about changing behaviors and customer service recovery. I am a vet and it is supposed to be a vet friendly business.

Pulled right in, they carried Rotella and my RAM oil filter. They had me finished and out the door in 30 minutes. Team members were careful, quick, clean, and informative. Id use them again.

Always friendly, prompt and honest! Love this location! I went there yesterday thinking it was time for an oil change, they could have been dishonest and changed my oil and charged me for a new oil change! Come to find out I just needed my routine top off of my fluids they provide free as a service!!

My experience was horrible! First they didn t have enough mobile 1 oil to change my oil with that brand but he said they would go to the parts store and get what they didn t have. I didn t have enough time for that so I chose the next package, the $99.99 package. Being I chose that I figured my bill would be $105 or something close the boy never told me how much it would be until after he was done. My bill was $144.44. If the boy would have told me that before they started I would have given straight out of the bay and left. I am shocked and pissed that I had to pay $144.44 to have my oil changed and then I didn t even get top of the line oil for my car!! I will never come back there and I will tell everyone I know don t go to Take 5 to have you oil changed! Horrible communication skills and over priced cheap oil!

Overall quality car service. This is my second visit to this location. Oil change was done without any issues. But the tech forgot to check if I needed a cabin air filter. So my card was charged for another transaction after I already paid for my oil change. The tech wasn't knowledgeable about how to replace the filter. Another tech had to complete the job. The glove box seems to work fine but now I have a extra screw that won't fix. I like to work with knowledgeable and experienced people, especially when they working on my car. Some it's about the minir details that keep customers coming back for service.Service: Oil change

I normally have good experiences. However this last time it want good at all#1 store would not honor my coupon and was super rude about it2. They didn t tighten the plastic shroud that goes over the oil on and it was dragging going down the road

I was going to them faithfully, but they lost my business FOREVER when they completely over filled my oil. $130 I paid and that s the service I received. Now we would have been in court if they had damaged my motor due to their negligence. I d rather go to the dealership then give them my money again. Beware it s not worth it, their prices are high like the dealership, only difference is the dealership is way less risky!

Instead of taking my money Take Five was honest and told me l didn't quite need an oil change. They put air in my tire and gave the car necessary fluid. Much appreciation to them for my visit.

My experience was disconcerting. The technicians displayed irresponsible and immature behavior, sitting in their cars smoking when my family arrived for a quick oil change. The atmosphere reeked of marijuana, and they played inappropriate music or videos on their phones. Additionally, one technician almost forgot to replace the oil in my car and signaled for us to leave before my husband requested the necessary documentation. It was the worst experience, and I'm uncertain if anything was done correctly. If possible, I would give it 0 stars.

I would ve given 5 stars, if they had a working air hose. They couldn t put air in my tires because of it and I really needed some. Luckily it was a gas station up the road that gives free air. Outside of that, they were very quick and nice.

They're fast and all but they're not nice or friendly. I'm not saying they should joke and/or play at work, but they don't greet anybody or anything they just start telling you to do stuff and asking questions. None of them have any customer service skills.

I am using my husbands profile for this review, I wanted to preface with that so readers will know this review is coming from the viewpoint of a woman. Anyway, I came here the other day because the warrantee on my Honda CR-V had run its course of oil changes, so I decided to try this place rather than the Honda dealership this time. What was cool is that you could sit in your car while they did everything and they would show you what you needed done. For example, they pulled out my air filter and showed me what it looked like and once I saw it, I knew it needed replacing. They did the same thing for my wipers, showing me the film that my old wipers were leaving behind, so of course I had those replaced too. I didn t feel like they were pressuring me with the add-ons either, and showing me was way better than telling me. As a woman, I usually feel like prey to these kind of places for multiple unnecessary up-sales when not with my husband. Everyone was friendly and the service was extremely quick, I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes, there was no wait when I arrived either. They even reset my oil light without me prompting them to do so which was awesome because I have always had to remind them, no one has ever remembered to do this in all my years of experience with non-dealership oil change establishments, and that light is super annoying to me. Its a huge pet peeve to see that light still on after leaving a service. My only issue is they seemed a bit pricey to me. I paid $176 out the door for the oil change, wipers, and air filter. Now the oil needed was synthetic so I knew that was more expensive but the last time I paid out of pocket for a synthetic oil change on a non-luxury vehicle was about 4 years ago and the cost then was about $75 out the door, no extras. The oil change by itself here was $99 plus $9.99 for each extra quart of oil not included in the $99. This could be the going rate these days, I m not sure, but I was surprised. Everything has gone up on price since the pandemic though, so I figured this was no exception, and I didn t compare prices before coming here, it was the closest to my house and I was looking for convenience that day. However, I would recommend this company to those looking for this type of place for oil changes, and I was very happy with my experience overall. The best part was how quickly and smoothly the whole process went and I was able to remain in my car the entire time & observe the service. I will be returning here for the next lube service unless I happen to find a less expensive place of the same quality, which I don t think is too likely. Nothing could have been done better. Lastly, I appreciated not being pressured to spend more money than planned, even though I did, it wasn t due to pushy sales tactics. I hate that more than anything so that s another reason I am so pleased with the experience. See for yourself!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

In-N-Out in 15 minutes including waiting behind somebody else. Great experience and would recommend this business to anyone who needs an oil change. The technicians were great and friendly and knowledgeable
