If I could give them a zero I would.I went there got a quote and scheduled a repair for my side bumper. I went back and they didn t have the quote on file. So I had to drive home and get it. I went back and waited for him to redo it. He was talking on the phone to someone that was not a customer and made me wait like 15 minutes before he called me back up. When I picked up my car the bumper that was repaired was not painted, I found out he redid the quote and didn t include painting the damaged bumper. They told me it would be another 600+ to paint the bumper I actually came there to fix: don t waste your time or money

This review will have a few updates and pictures as I am going through the process of getting a $2700 paint job:April 15th: walked in with no appointment and spoke to a very nice gentleman that was from California that worked there. He explained to me the whole process and everything they were going to do to my car to make it look exactly how I wanted it to (blacked out). He told me it would take 10 business days to do what I wanted to be done.10 business days later: For the most part, my car came out excellent!! I am extremely happy with the final results. There are a few places I discussed with the initial salesman that I wanted to be taken care of but it wasn't. Small details that stick out like a sore thumb on a fresh paint job. I will discuss this with them in the future and update this review. It's extremely hard not to give this 5 stars but I'm doing that for now. But I really like the look!!

I chose the top tier paint plan. I was told it would take 10 days. 32 days later, they tell me it is ready. For those 32 days I was given multiple excuses as to why it wasn t ready. Several of the excuses were just plain lies. So when we arrive to pick it up, It was still taped off for paint, the roof was NOT painted but the rest of the truck was. Several runs in the paint. Hundreds of fish eye pock marks due to poor prep.Solvent issues on the whole rear qtr panel. Sanding marks in several places. Missing window trim pieces and on and on and on.Brian/manager has not been truthful at all and has been lying (yes I have proof). The production manager never checked the finished product. Lots of excuses as to why the paint job was so bad.DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Title: Extremely DissatisfiedI recently had a very disappointing experience at Macco Paint Shop in Douglasville, Georgia. I took my car to them for a paint job on the hood and roof, as well as the installation of two new headlights. Unfortunately, the level of service I received was far below my expectations. When I went to pick up my car after two weeks, I was shocked to find it covered in dust and overspray, both on the exterior and interior. It was evident that the necessary precautions were not taken to protect my vehicle during the painting process. This lack of attention to detail was extremely disappointing.Furthermore, upon inspecting the car, I noticed that my turn signals were not functioning. I brought this to the attention of the manager, Kenny, who called a technician to look into the issue. Although they initially suggested that I had an electrical problem, it turned out that the simple matter of missing bulbs were to blame. I was astounded by this oversight and wondered how such a basic error could have been made.To make matters worse, during my visit to Macco, I also discovered that they had broken the check valve on my windshield wipers. When I approached Kenny about my concerns, he dismissively claimed that he couldn't be held responsible for the negligence of his staff.Overall, my experience at Macco Paint Shop in Douglasville, Georgia was highly unsatisfactory. The lack of attention to detail, poor workmanship, and unprofessional attitude displayed by the manager left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.Service: Painting

I wish there was an option to give no stars at all. I have never experienced such terrible service. I went to this location to get work done on my bumper. Not only was the color off the wrong bumper. Was placed on my car, causing my front sensors to be covered. Not allowing a car in front of me to be detected. I was told that my car would have to be taken to another dealership. To fix the issue at no cost to me. I called and I called and was told. The dealership was backed up and I. Would receive a call when they are available. Weeks pass never got a call. Only to call this location myself. And to be told that all the employees have been fired. Because that have been lying to customers. And that I m responsible to fix something that I did not cause. Even called corporate. And was told there is nothing they can do. Because each location is independently owned. Thanks for the auto generated response. I called this exact number and was refused any help. So this response is just another slap in the face.

Going into this process, I was very nervous b/c my car, Beau, is my baby & I had many negative thoughts. I d read other reviews about serval car painting companies & they were not good. I took 4 days off & drove 5hrs to this Macco to give it a try. When I arrived at the Macco off Bankhead Hwy on a Saturday, I was greeted by Mike Dooley, the estimator, who was very sweet & professional. I expressed my concerns to him about my car, considering this was my first time leaving my car at an unknown location. He reassured me my car was in great hands. We talked pricing & it was all w/in my budget. I gave him my keys & parted ways. This Macco was closed on Sunday. On Monday, I had received missed calls & voicemails about my car & my heart sank. I called Mike & Tim, the car painter, back & they told me that the racing stripes on my car were not painted on but a sticker. I did not have the stickers, nor did I know how much it was going to cost so they couldn't even start painting my car until I brought the stickers. I was very frustrated b/c if I had of known from the beginning, then I could have ordered them ahead of time. I ended up buying the stickers & overnighting through Amazon. I received the stickers on Tuesday & I went to Macco around noon & gave them to Mike. I asked to see the progress on my car & it actually looked really good just sanded down, no paint on. I asked about the estimated time b/c I did have to get my tires done & get back home. He said he d call to confirm the time for today & I was very pleased but concerned b/c it needed time to dry. He said he could put my car in something similar to a giant hair dryer for cars, sorry I don t remember the technical term her used but it worked. I went out & Mike called to let me know that my car was going to be done in about 30mins (4:45PM) & they closed at 5:00PM. I was still on the other side of Atlanta, but Mike waited for me to get there which was about 5:45PM & that was kind b/c he could have easily said I had to wait until tomorrow which I couldn t do. He also took the price of the stickers & shipping costs off the price of my car for the inconvenience. Mike put the icing on the cake for me. It was the small details that made me re-fall in love w/ my car & make me want to recommend this shop to everyone I can.Overall Rating: 5 stars. I gave them overall 5 stars b/c I think that even w/ the small mess-ups, they did everything in their power to accommodate me & my needs. I felt that the service was genuine & tailored for me & not robotic nor the same for every customer.Expertise: 4 stars. I gave them 4 stars b/c I feel that during job estimate & they were looking & feeling my car, they should have known that the racing stripes were stickers & not 2 days later.Professionalism: 4 stars. I gave them 4 stars b/c Mike was very professional & very accommodating for every question & need I may have had.Promptness: 3 stars. I gave them 3 stars b/c I felt like since I took my car on Saturday, they should have started the work on the car Sunday & not Tuesday b/c then I could have kept my car until Tuesday or took off less days.

I was very pleased with this Maaco. During the pandemic i was out shopping and a cart or something hit the back of my baby!!!! I didn t notice until I got home!!! The next day I set out for repair, going to 3 other repair locations. After being frustrated I stopped lastly at Maaco, I spoke with Megan! She was great and helped me promptly. Very knowledgeable and friendly.I felt very comfortable leaving my car with them for repairs. Once I got my baby back I was so pleased with results. We have some more cars we need paint and this is the only place I m going to.They were great and my car looks perfect thanks to all of their great service work! They really are a amazing team!!!!Thanks MaacoStyles Ali Owner at The Style Spot Salon

If I could give zero stars I would. Our truck was promised in 10 days and we had to pay half. It has been over 30 days & we are leaving town for our job. We drove in 8 hours to pickup the truck which was promised today. It was not finished and the work that was completed is horrific. The production manager refused to call owner or GM. We are now stranded here and can t move to my hubby s next job site. Literally no solution other than they will start over. Won t give us back our money so we can take it somewhere else.Service: Painting

Thanks Megan! Great friendly service! They turned my old fading 2000 Saturn back into a shining new car again. The premium paint is worth the extra cost for the nice gloss look! Highly recommended! The Maaco in Douglasville is awesome!

Worst location to go to. My boyfriend got a quote from them to get his SUV painted around the end of November. He scheduled an appointment with the manger around the end of December. The manager told him they would have his car complete in a week and a half despite the Christmas and New Year holiday which would mean the car would be done the first week of January. His car wasn't complete until the middle of February. Through out this period of time they have let his battery die, locked his keys inside the car, painted the car the wrong color TWICE, parts have fell off his car, which they replaced but they ordered the wrong parts which he had to wait longer for them to arrive, and still the parts still fell off, and they had constantly lied to us about when the car would be ready. The paint job was poorly done. Those people are a special type of slow and I would never recommend them to anyone. To be honest he shouldn't have paid anything. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy here.Service: Painting

We don t usually write reviews but the customer service and quality of work at MAACO, Doug-lasville GA is special. On a whelm, we took our, never garaged, 2006 Nissan Titan, faded paint, battle scarred and dented, having endured eight years of tornadoes and hail in OKC prior to relocating to GA, to MAACO for an estimate. We were cordially greeted by Mike Dooley, one of the most friendly, knowledgeable, exceedingly customer oriented individual whose efforts went far and above all expectations. He got our inter-est,built our trust and really made us feel welcome and appreciated. Individuals Like Mike are ra-re and are true assets to any employer. After looking over our vehicle he gave us a written estimate to repair all the dents and repaint the entire truck with our color of choice. The quote was very reasonable and he ensured us the work would be done in a couple of days and the vehicle would be ready for us to pick up.When we went back to pick it up, some two days after the date promised, our old truck was sitting in the parking lot shinning brightly with a new coat of metallic red paint. Although we were very pleased with the work they had done they had failed to repair a dent in the tailgate. We pointed it out to Mike and my wife commented she wished something could be done about the old faded headlight lens that completely looked out of place with the fresh paint job. Mike immediately took personal responsibility and apologized for the dent saying he probably failed to identify it to the the shop and suggested we leave the vehicle with him a couple more days and he would have the dent repaired and see about having the highlight lens buffed out. We agreed.Upon returning a few days later we found the dent repaired and our headlights to be crystal clear with a new looking appearance and anticipated our bill to increase by a substantial unknown amount. After looking over the truck again, we went inside to pay our bill and get the key. Mike ran some numbers in his computer with me thinking he is adding the cost of the headlights. He handed me a bill for an amount less than the estimate and said he was giving us a discount. Are we happy customers? Yes we are - - Excellent Customer Service and quality workThanks Mike and crew. Well doneJess and Marta in Temple GAMAACO, 13150 E. Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA

As a person that used to work in a body shop the work was poorly done paint did not match had over spray on all windows including on the interior of my car there was no blending in with the fender and the back door it was a disgrace. I wouldn't even recommend going to this Maaco then in return the next day I had to take my car to another collision so they can do it right which cost me triple just to do it right which in the long run I had to do because I couldn't drive around with a 2017 vehicle looking like I just went to the junkyard and got a door and put it on a car and the color didn't match and also the dent was in the door still. When I asked why does the door look like that the clerk told me that it was the paint curating and when it dried completely I wouldn't see it, the rocker panel was still damaged the door handle needed to be replaced and when I asked what happened to the door handle they said they didn't do that type of work to be a collision repair shop they need more technical skill people to work on cars because I wouldn't recommend anyone go there after that, one last thing when I asked why wasn't the car clean to get all the dust and everything off of it they told me they don't clean vehicles I said wow okay I made up my mind right there I can never come back to this place

They did a great job painting my jeep. Exactly what I wanted. They would've gotten another star if they had had more help, and had gotten it done more quickly. However, I'm pleased with the job they did, and, I'm fairly certain I'll be there again for my jeep.

I cannot stress strongly enough how amazing this paint job is the Douglasville Maaco completed on my Audi TT ! Megan is such a pleasure to deal with and is very knowledgeable! Great communication and care. Smooth process from beginning to pick up. Automotive paint work is very difficult, and it s so easy to get a run or fish eye or just get trash in the paint. My car has zero errors. None. If you want a quality paint job that is also quite fairly priced, this Maaco is the place to go. Thank you again Megan and team for making my TT look showroom pretty!

I heard a lot of great things about Mako but I was unpleasantly surprised at the cost for painting a car seems like there's no exact set price and I thought that it was ridiculously high priced to get a car painted so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone
