I took my car to Firestone in Douglasville, GA, on 11/02 for a new Catalytic Converter (P0420) and Turbo Charger (P2261). I returned to the store ten times with the same problem.Not only did they return my car with the same problem after being unable to pass an emissions test that read the same codes for the two issues, but my car now overheats, and the fan continues to run trying to cool the car off in which Firestone tech received payment to repair the coolant system. The code is P00B7.Firestone also serviced my second vehicle the same week as the first vehicle for a CV axle on the front right passenger side. The second vehicle still does not run properly after having the repair done and paid in full.Lesson learned. If the service is unacceptable, voice your concerns until you get a resolution at no additional cost to you. People pay for quality service and should expect customer service excellence. I will never do business at this location again.I will pay close attention to the reviews from here on out for any car auto service for repairs. I hope all the Firestone locations do not deliver poor customer service because of one bad apple.Update: Drove the car 12 miles from home the night after returning from the shop for the 10th time and guess what? The check engine light came back on.Scan the car, code is P0420, Catalytic Converter. Who has thousands of dollars to throw away for an incomplete job? No one and me either?Check engine light is from the Chevy Cruise 2011 and the fluid leak is from my new CV Axle for my Nissan Juke 2012.Today is Dec. 13, 2023, still no call from the corporate office in Nashville, TN. The customer service complaint continues to say the complaints escalated to the district manager (imaginary person). They give you bogus numbers to the corporate office.Don't stop - continue to be persistent. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and local news stations.Someone will eventually take heed and do something about these scams and rip offs.Two cars down thanks to Firestone! Smh!

I went in the store on a whim to get my tire checked for a flat. at the time I knew that I had hit a pothole in Atlanta. lo and behold it was true that my wheel was bent, and the staff did pull me into the repair room to show me what had happened. What I assume to be the store manager offered to bend the wheels back and also pointed out that I needed to get my tires replaced as the tread was low. I didn t even notice this until they brought it up, and I am so grateful they did. I asked to see if I can get the same tires as I did, and they did me one better. They got me an upgraded version from Firestone and price matched it to the cheaper tires that I once had. They saved me $100. Furthermore, they offered to bend the wheels back, and as I left, I took notice that I had absolutely no wobble and no air leaks anymore. They simply fixed my wheels which isn t even a service that they offer.As a reviewer, I rarely make the time to write a five star, unless they absolutely go out of their way, and in this case, I even had to re-download and sign into the Google Maps app just to write this, but I thought everybody should know how great this place is and the absolutely amazing amazing service and personable staff they had there. they were truly an amazing help and they did more than I ever would ve expected from a fire stone. Don t let the interior deceive you, this place is a place professional, and well done work.

I will not recommend this Firestone Location. The Manager was very rude and disrespectful. I paid 1000$ for my Car front tire rod to be replaced that was for part and label. After the job was done my alignment was still off.I tried talking to him about it. He supposed to give me a copy of the alignment and keep a copy he refused to give it to me when I try to address it he started having an attitude asking me to leave the store. He was ready to fight with me.

Went to Firestone today to have oil changed and alternator replaced. It was pretty busy but Wesley got me in and out in no time. Best experienced. He even offered to drop me off at home nearby, because I needed to get back home to my 3 month old baby. That s above and beyond. He didn t have to do that.

If I could give them a zero I would. The manager does NOT even know the warranty limits on the items that they sell. She wasn't helpful and just tried to charge me for a new battery when my old battery was still under warranty. Don't go there for nothing!!!

These people can not balance tires right, they tried balancing my tires three times and still did not get it right, the technician even left lug nuts loose on my rims Thomas is a great guy but his team needs fired they are dangerous I have pictures from the very first time to the last time they tried balancing and they only want to make what they done wrong right instead of refunding my money. They mistreated me for no reason STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE YOU HAVE MANY OTHER CHOICES!!!!Service: Tires

I understand customer service is low or not on the priority list in this line of business, but I do at least expect communication. I made an appointment for 11:00 and arrived 10 minutes early. I was greeted promptly by an employee who I informed of my brakes squealing. That was the only communication I had with anyone until almost 2 hours later. No brake inspection results, no status update, and no work being done on the car.I was told they wanted someone else to look at the brakes but could give me no ETA. I was basically sent away with no resolution after wasting hours sitting in the waiting room. No apology, no anything.On to the next.

Absolutely horrible, had an appointment at 1pm for an alignment and to put tires of the front, called to check on my car at 3pm and they told me 45 minutes until it was finished. Got a call at 4:50 pm telling me my car was ready. Then got a call back asking me if I would be there before they locked the doors at 5:15 because they close at 5pm(10 min). Then when I get there around 5:20pm my car window was down and nobody was in sight. So I called about 7 times no one answered, so I saw a car leaving the back of the establishment tried to flag them down but they kept going. So I walked to the back of the building and noticed cars running, then the manager comes out of the back door with an attitude of course and tells me that she can check me out to take my car .so we go inside and I had to express my displeasure with the service. They didn t apologize and proceeded to call her manager for damage control. So I told her that my car better be right and she told me that she hope it s not and to take my raggedy car and go. Nevertheless I got my car still had the same problem but worse than before. Please don t go to this place if you go it s at your own risk.

Was in need of an oil change and alignment. These guys were great and have lots of other services available too. Mine are warranted for 12 months. Price point seemed fair and even recommended a few things to do to keep my roadie in tip top shape

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOUGLASVILLE LOCATION !! I took my car in for a routine alignment on Saturday February 17, 2024 I have the life time warranty I also ask for the $9.99 checkup just to see if anything was going on with the car. I was called a few hours later and was told that I had a bad oil leak and needed a new oil pan and valve cover gaskets they also sent a couple of pictures they gave me a price and said it would be ready later that same day I didn't hear anything from them so I called because it was getting close to closing time then I was told the wrong oil pan was sent and it would be Tuesday before it would be ready Tuesday came and I never heard anything from them so I called later in the day to see if the car was ready I was then told again the oil pan didn't come in it would be Wednesday, to make a long story short I was charged over 300.00 for a new oil pan that was not put on the car there was nothing wrong with the oil pan my nephew who is a certified mechanic came over the same evening I got the car back he looked under the car took pictures and said there is NOT a new oil pan on this car we compared their pictures with the ones he took it was the same old oil pan there was nothing wrong with the oil pan and I had just had the valve cover gaskets repaired 6 months ago, I called the store that evening told them the oil pan was not replaced It was the same old oil pan and I needed a refund credited to my account I would be there the next day to see the manager that day I went in they are very rude people I did get the refund credited I was told it was an oversite on their part being charged for the oil pan which I don't believe that at all they didn't think they would get caught how many other people have they made an oversight (their words) on and didn't get caught. I was not allowed to see the manager I had to ask two times what the manager's name was and then was told a first name of only Wesley then a Mr. Phillips who came in from the shop who was rude also, I told them I would be calling the corporate office that store needs to be shut down the employees are so rude they need to be taught about real customer service they hang up on you if they don't want to hear what you're saying, I will never take my car back to that store again I would give a zero star if I could. Please be ware if you go there !!

Horrible customer service! I called to inquire about a possible earlier appointment, since online said it'd be a 5 hour wait. As soon as I get an employee on the phone not only does he not answer my questions but he was very rude and demanding of my personal information (not about my car) when all I wanted to know is if i would be able to get an appointment before the evening. the call ending with him hanging up, abruptly for no reason. Isaiah definitely needs to be retrained in customer service. not sure why he's answering the phone if he can't even display good communication or verbal service. disappointing experience.

The van we got from Enterprise started losing thread on the tire while we was driving. We called Pep Boys who was closer but the guy said he was closing at 7pm and that was that. Called Firstone Douglas and they did the tire in 20 mins. They even stayed late until we got there. As a traveler passing through with a bad tire the service was beyond great. We talk yall because that tire was very bad.

Pleasure every time I m present to get my vehicles serviced. A special shout out to Russel and Wesley! Getting your car serviced is stressful enough, but their customer service is splendid. All of my concerns are taken seriously and taken care of promptly. Very amicable gentlemen. I leave stress-free every time.

Took my car for an alignment at 9 am. I arrive and the tech says there s no record of an appt even after showing him a record number. The place looks run down, dim, and the employees look like they could care less about you or your vehicle. I asked for my keys back and the tech looks away from me and hands me my keys as if this happens all the time. RUN from this place. Your car could fall off the lift and to them, life goes on.

I asked for an alignment for a 2014 BMW & was not informed at the time that their machine only aligns the front. I waited for 2 hours & they only aligned the front of the vehicle. I was livid-- the lady in charge was like old well not her problem. Most people are not aware that if you take your vehicle to a place to get repairs/assistance they are not informed on how the machine works. That information should be released at the time of arrival. Thanks for wasting a no longer customers time.

Bring your car here if you want to waste 8 hours sitting around for the to do work and they only MAYBE do one thing on your vehicle. Went to Firestone Douglasville location on 12/23/2023. Explained there was a problem with my brakes. Turns out my rotors were warped and causing my car to shake when I braked. Waited about 30-45 minutes for a quote. While I was waiting, I started reading reviews. One star review after one star review. Glad I listened to my intuition. Quoted me 2700+ to replace brakes and half of that was for labor. Ended up going to Discount Tires who referred me to Express Oil Change. Express charged me 869 labor included and taxes. SMH.

We spent close to $90 and 2 hours here yesterday only to discover at church how FILTHY they left our car. Grease covered finger prints all over the outside and inside of our car as well as trash left inside the vehicle. Very disappointed with how our car was treated. I will be contacting their headquarters.**they contacted me back quickly and are fixing the issue with no problems - impressed**

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE!!! They don t value your time whatsoever, they lie and up sell you products and services that you do not need. I am a mechanic but I took my car there bc of course I don t have an alignment machine. I went in simply to get my wheel alignment done. I asked the associate how long he estimated it would take, he said about an hour. Given he said an hour I waited around. Three hours later they tell me oh we couldn t do the alignment, the tires are too bald, but here s $4,000 dollars worth of services that you need. If the alignment was dependent on the tire tread, then it would ve taken 2 minutes to say either yes we can do the alignment, or no we cannot. I later received an email with a survey that I completed and requested to be contacted regarding the matter. I never was so I ended up calling up there and spoke with someone. He never took responsibility nor apologized, instead he doubled down and stood by their actions. I will never even consider going back there, and I will continue to tell anyone I know not to as well.

Worst experience of my life. The young lady that works there got into an accident in my car and showed no remorse for the incident that happened while my car was in her possession. If she had driven my car in a safe manner forward facing she would have saw someone backing out of a parking spot. The employee ( young lady) and manager did not apologize for the damage that was done to my car nor offered any support. Once the young lady proceeded to come and grab me from the waiting room after the accident happened she left and proceeded about her day like she wasn t involved in anything. My thing is this could have been avoided if the young lady would have been driving my car forward and not in reverse from the front to the back of the store and looked around to make sure it was safe. Both parties are at fault for not paying attention.. but worst she (the employee) never apologized to me like ma am you were in the wrong as well and careless with someone s else s property. Now my car is left with a dented passenger side door.

This place is so unprofessional it s really a joke. I was scheduled for a tire installation. I came in at 11:00am and was told my vehicle would be ready at 3:00pm. I came back at 3 and was told the truck was not ready. They needed another 2 hours. I didn t leave the business until 7pm at closing. When picking my truck up at 6:55pm the Team Lead was literally arguing with another customer about services they didn t complete. I mean the customer and store lead was so uncomfortable to listen to I had to step outside the door to let them hash it out. Fast forward some days later and I m back at this unprofessional business with a 7:30am appointment being told I will still have to wait because they are short on staffing. Not to mention my tires weren t balanced on a new tire installation on the first visit. I would give this store a -5 stars if I could.Service: Tires

If only I could rate a zero. I went in for an oil change that took almost 3 hours. After the service was completed, I took my vehicle home and noticed a lot of oil all over the engine compartment. While driving to work the next morning the oil pressure warning light came on. After work, I started my car and again noticed the oil pressure warning. The return trip home (approximately 25 miles) included two stops at gas stations and six quarts of oil and 3 hours of my time. Apparently the service was not completed correctly. I was told by the store manager that a seal on the oil filter was installed incorrectly and that he would "make it right". It's been 7 months and I think it's safe to say that Firestone doesn't care.I will NEVER return to Firestone and would warn anyone else about this location.

I can't express enough how grateful I am for the team at Firestone Complete Auto, particularly Russell and Wes. After getting new struts installed at another auto care center, I had a nagging feeling something wasn't right with my car. Russell and Wes not only inspected my vehicle thoroughly but also found several issues stemming from the previous mechanic's work. I was devastated to learn that I had been taken advantage of by my previous mechanic for over a year.Thanks to Firestone's expertise and integrity, they not only fixed the problems but also ensured my car was safe to drive again. I can't thank them enough for their honesty and dedication to customer safety. Had to have a front end alignment asap, gave Firestone a call not only did they get in same day they done a fantastic job. Can not complain about it great price quality workmanship, friendly staff.4/24 update this place has gone downhill two different appointments two days in a row and was told it was going to be 2-3 hrs after arrival for front end alignment I have had several front end alignments done here in the past and was always in and out

I would give ZERO stars if possible. NEVER EVER go to this Firestone location!!!!!!! I have been getting my vehicles repaired at Firestone for 50 YES 50 years!! Since my first vehicle was purchased. This location is 100% THE WORST SERVICE or should I say NO SERVICE!! They had no problem keeping my vehicle for three days and happy to take my $1900 and repaired NOTHING!!! The Store Manager Wesley Phillips said and did nothing to rectify the issue!! Never even followed up!! Last words from the Technician after testing three times for the issue was I can not fix it!!!! Take it to the Dealership!! I escalated the issue to the Area Manager and he text one time saying can he call back later? I recommended he contact my Husband because I was busy with clients all day. He never called!!! I am a Licensed Insurance agent and have professionally serviced clients daily for fifteen years. I would never ignore them and think the problem will go away. There is always a solution!! Not calling back is never one of them!! Next step Firestone CORPORATE and the Locals news. BEWARE!!

I called @ 11:00 am (9/23/23) to get a quote on a front alignment on my vehicle. The female that answered the phone was obviously upset that I called to get a price. Management, please explain to her that people calling to get a quote is a good thing. Be nice to customers. They have money.
