I have used Carter s for well over 10 years now. He has always done exceptional work and has always taken care of me. The last time he serviced my vehicle, the caliper we bought failed. I was super angry thinking I would have to pay full price for a problem he had just fixed. Carter assured me the part was covered under warranty and even replaced the part for me at no extra cost to me. As a single mother this helped me tremendously. He is definitely an amazing mechanic and very respectful.Thank you Carter!

This guy is a scam artist. Was supposed to have my rotors replaced but the new ones were rusty instantly, not just the discs but also the hub where the wheel attaches. Thick rust, not surface rust. When I tried to bring it back he was always too busy and in phone conversations he became defensive to the point my only choice is to warn others: DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. Thank god Im using a financer because he would never give the money back for work he didn't do. Now I have to get another brake job because the pads he put on are already worn down after only 4 months. Don't let him insult your intelligence like he did with mine trying to say the hub wasn't a part of the rotor. They come together in the same box on the same piece of metal! This guy needs to lose this business if this is how he treats customers. Highly dishonest and too expensive, also he seems racist - and that's coming from someone who shares his race. STAY AWAY.

They did a VERY good job replacing an engine for me about 3 months ago. He was professional and quick. He let us know the progress along they way as well. They car is running way better than before!!!

This is a very busy shop, however the wait and results are top tier. The communication is clear and direct. The labor price is fair and the repairs on my 7series BMW & my mothers Chevy Malibu has held with no complications after. I refer all my friends in the area here over ASB, Napa and other competitors in the area based off the customer service, friendliness and reliability! My experience has always been a great one every time I have come to Carter's. He's very pleasant professional and super down to earth. The biggest thing for me is the prices. The prices are very affordable and the work is solid. I will continue bringing my vehicle to Carter's

I needed to repair faulty "knocker arms" in the engine of my Jeep Wrangler. Merely by divine intervention, I found myself at the shop. Mr. Carter is honest, reasonable and most of all an A++ mechanic. He had my vehicle "purring" again in 2 days and guaranteed his work. Some of the reviews have to be fake! But take notice to how women are treated by this place. I just came from watching the video the disabled lady of color posted. This place is NOT FOR US! We're already the most unprotected and disrespected group. Taking advantage of that is sick. Also one of our KANGS was sitting there being quiet because he wanted a good deal on his car. He didn't speak up and do what was right. PLEASE don't take my word for it, go watch the video to see. People can say anything but an unedited video doesn't lie. I will never go back to this place. And she said she left a review of what happened, no one seems to be able to find the review on here. Maybe it was a paid removal. They can remove reviews but can't remove the true personality of the owner. And where's the reviews he's arguing with people on. I saw those reviews and they disappeared. What professional business owner sits online and argues in comments with people but claim he barely has time to finish their vehicles. People please wake up. Just go watch the video of the little sickly lady he's talking bad to because he made a mistake. She has 3 videos up. Listen to the audio phone call and see the video of how condescending the owner is.

Carter's Auto Service is an honest and dependable automotive repair shop. Two mechanics work here, one of which is the owner. Carter's does great work at a reasonable price. They have even advised when I could easily do something myself. They diagnose the real problem and repair it. They don't look for added problems or repair items that don't need it. They are friendly. I have never had to take a car to them for the same problem twice. They fix it right the first time.

I called on 05/13/2020 just to inquire about getting my rear view mirror replaced. I was very cordial and nice as I talked to the rep. He said that I would have to leave it a half a day. I replied and said could I bring it to be looked at to ensure that they would be able to fix the mirror and look at my sunroof. He said yes they have a mirror they can install. I proceeded to inform him that I didn't need it replaced that it was still attached but just hanging. His response then was I decline and instead of being professional and saying have a good day or a simple bye he immediately hung up on me. Why such negative bad service. What was the reason. Just disgusting service that's all. I hope they see this review, remember that they were unprofessional and just correct it for the next customers who come their way. This was not called for.

After moving from out of state, my car began giving me some serious problems. With no local mechanic, I stumbled upon Carter's and let me tell you- I would recommend Carter and his services to ANYONE! I am so thankful that Carter was there to help me out. He gives fair prices, and is honest and upfront about what he's doing to service your car, and there is real quality in the work done. If you need a mechanic, this is your place!!

Mr Carter is awesome! My car was leaking gasoline and I was scared to death. He fixed it for a very reasonable price and put my mind at ease. I'm definitely going back if I have any car trouble. If your car is in need, go there, you won't be sorry!

I had a great experience with Carter's Auto Service. The staff are really nice and helpful, they get the work done in a timely manner, they keep you posted on what's going on and they are very reasonably priced. I am glad I found Carter's Auto Service, they saved me a lot of money and time! (Had work done on the Catalytic converter and Idle Air)

I took my car here for an emissions problem. There was a technician there named Jeremy who worked on my car. The pastor at my church recommended that we go see him. He was really great. He made me feel comfortable and went way out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied. He is also a very knowledgeable and professional technician. I would highly recommend this place because of this young man.

Had a family member speak to the owner , carter, in person, where he agreed to service my vehicle at a designated time for an agreed upon fee. Upon arrival , I was told they dont do appointments and that he couldnt help me. Instead of having a respectful conversation to explain why he couldnt, he just aggressively told me he couldnt service my vehicle (all with a cigarette in my face) and walked away before i could even respond. Its not that hard to be respectful and just say no you cannot fulfill the promise. Would never recommend this place to anybody , this establishment is pitiful.

I found Carter's Automotive just by driving by and noticing a new auto repair store close to home. I was fed up with the place I was going to over pricing and usually not even fixing the issue. I had nothing to lose but gained so much by switching to Carter's! They have fixed all kinds of problems, big and small, from catalytic converters, engines, o2 sensors, and timing belt issues to getting ready for emissions, changing spark plugs/wires, putting a new battery terminal on, air conditioner issues and the list goes on. These guys have the best "car side manner". They are the best priced, they are honest and make sure they fix the issue no matter WHAT, and they are timely in getting you back on the road. They are NOT the kind of place that fixes first and charges later, they will keep in touch with you as much as is needed when doing exactly what YOU need and won't do work until they have your permission and you know exactly what is wrong and how much it will cost. I absolutely love these guys!

I have used Carter's service for years, on numerous vehicles..Replacing motors,transmissions and everything in between. He is a true gem when it comes to your vehicle..You always know where you stand and how much its gonna cost! Heck of a lot cheaper than most shops you go to!

Brought my car in to pass emmisions. They told me the root problem along with some other things. Took the time to bring me back and show me personally. When i got the car back it ran better than the day i bought it. 100% happy with the price and quality of work. I couldn't help but smile as my mustang accellerated better than ever. This is officially my go to shop. Highly recommended.

The owner was very rude. I took my car here for service. When I left the lights on my dash board wouldn't turn on so I couldn't see how many miles per hour i was going at night or an off the other gauges. I took the car back for then to fix it. They took a took at it and told me they couldn't fix it and wanted me to pay. When i questioned the owner why would i pay when you messed up my car he began to yell at me in from of my 3 year of niece and told me to leave and not come back. I would think a business owner would conduct him self in a better manner.

This business owner is highly unprofessional and rude. Instead of helping me get my car serviced (which he agreed to over the phone) he verbally abused me, cut me off as I was talking, and walked away from me mid-sentence. Now, I am a very understanding person so there was no need to yell at me. Do not give them your business this was the worst experience I ve ever had.

I would never recommend this place to anybody. After my car was taken in for service I received bad customer service by being verbally attacked by one of the workers! The worker was very unprofessional and rude, even raising his voice at me at one point, and the worker didn t even bother wearing a mask, and continued to blow smoke in my face.
