Pure Decatur is like your trusted family doctor for cars. They service all of our cars. I have been happy with the service at Pure on two previous visits which entailed oil changes, tire rotations, a spark plug change and two wash & waxes. Fair prices, work done expeditiously I was happy.Today was different. I took my Subaru in for an oil change. I provided the oil and filter. The charge was $22.50; which I consider reasonable to have someone I trust do the job. Today they also recommended that I have both front and the rear wiper blades replaced; the engine air filter replaced; and the cabin air filter replaced. All this would have cost well over $100.The problem is that I had done all these things myself within the last 3,500 miles. The wipers are in excellent condition (the rear wiper blade was replaced by me just last week!). Subaru recommends replacing the cabin and engine air filters every 30,000 miles in normal driving certainly not after only 3,500 miles.The upshot is that they wanted me to spend a lot of money on completely unnecessary and wasteful maintenance. I suppose I might expect this behavior from a typical fast lube operation, I was very disappointed that Pure recommended unneeded work.

I was referred to Pure Service Station by my father who lives next door to the station and once again my father knows best. Great sevice overall. Andy at the desk is super friendly. Great pricing and overall just felt like my car was in good and trustworthy hands. I will definitely be back for my future car maintenance. Make sure you call ahead because they do maintenance by appointment which was fine by me.

I've taken my Lexus Hybrid 250 there numerous times for various things and am very pleased. They are friendly, knowledgeable and prices seem fair. Highly recommend.

Very friendly. My tire pressure light went on while heading to Decatur from OTP, stopped here and they filled each of my tires with air, no charge. So helpful! Will definitely be back with future needs

Honest, fair prices and nice people there. You may have to wait for an appointment but it s worth it if you are able to. Repairs were way better prices than I was expecting and they referred me out for no diagnostic cost when they weren t able to help with a specific hybrid issue. I feel like I've been to most car places around Decatur and I always find myself back here. The people who work at Pure in downtown and always nice and more importantly honest. Their prices are fair and the quality of work is always top notch.My only criticism is that they can keep your vehicle a little longer than I would like. The turn around could be faster...but then again the quality of service is still more important to me. Highly recommend.

Have used a station for routine service, oil change, etc. They are always very prompt, professional and neat. I have also driven in with a tire light on in 2 or 3 occasions. They check the pressure and put in air at no charge. Today I commented that again the same tire seem to be going low. Within 5 minutes they had it on the lift and had removed a nail-- all for $10. The young man taking care of me was so pleasant. Where else can you get this kind of service?

I've been taking my cars here for oil changes and repairs for years and finally felt compelled to write a review after they once again saved me money by fixing something minor at no charge- something that other garages would have undoubtedly charged me a couple hundred bucks to do. These guys are very trustworthy and they don't try to up-sell you products or repairs. It's really nice to know that my mechanic isn't recommending unnecessary work. Highly recommend the Decatur Pure Service Station.

I ve brought my car here a couple of times, and every time I ve received stellar service. The team is prompt, do good work, and most importantly communicate well. That s not something that is given and it really makes the Pure team standout!

I've consistently gotten great service here. Jarvis does an amazing job with full and partial details at a very fair price. First detail I've been 100% happy with in years.(And yes, I have a dog. I'm pretty sure there was a miracle involved in vanishing all the hair.)

They are always friendly & professional. Got an oil change. Had a problem with light for tire so I went back. They put it up, checked it & corrected it. Didn't have to wait around. Good people!

I highly recommend Pure! Honest, reasonable price, knowledgable, and low key! Barrett and Andy are the real deal! I brought an estimate from dealership for $2000 for engine work. Andy cleaned the engine and told me to come back in 2 weeks to check for leaks! He only found one....$500!! Need I say more?!

These guys are the best. Seriously. I brought my 2003 Infiniti FX into them with the thought that whatever they said would need to be my decision point as to buying a new car :( or moving forward with my much loved old one. They didn't miss a beat. They were so respectful of my old car, and made it run as if it were young again. When several days later I called to say that my steering wheel was vibrating a bit when I went 60 on the expressway, they were quick to schedule me to come back in. Fixed it within 30 minutes. I feel as if I've hit the jackpot just knowing where my car will be taken care of! I don't generally write reviews, but Pure is incredible.

I could not be happier with the customer service and repairs I received from Decatur. There is a neighborhood feel to the place, and they are friendly and explain to me in clear language about needed car repairs, and then help me to schedule the work on a priority basis. They have been doing all of my repairs for 3 years, and with a 1994 car, there have been a lot! They are a gem in Decatur!

Very good experience. I was a little concerned as this was the first time I used a small oil change shop. But the staffs are awesome and helpful. They checked everything and finished the oil change way quicker than I expected. Definitely going back again!

I have been coming to Pure since 2014, my first year of college. Great people, and very Honest. I was told we needed front axle seals replaced, among other things, and dropped it off for them to complete all the work. They called and told me the seals aren't leaking and there is no reason to replace them, a $250 savings for me. An honest mechanic...somewhat of an oxymoron.

Mediocre service, mediocre attitudes...For 30 years we've lived in the vicinity, and my wife and I have stopped by this station on many occasions.Today they had a kid serving the gas, who may have been in his 20's.I inquired about premium gas. He said they are all out.I the requested my he top off all 4 tires at 36. While looking at my gauge on my dash, he put only 34. I told him I need 36. He then replied, "One or two lbs won't matter."I said, "to me it will." This is when I detected some "attitude."He went around my car as if he were putting more air in. My gauge indicated all 4 tires were still at 34.After I left, I phoned the station. A guy claiming to be the manager, upon hearing my story, immediately went into "Trump mode," attempting to defend and offer an explanation, will never once offering an apology.Although there was no charge for "air," these days, we have so many choices where we can take our business... Why go to establishments and pay for disrespect?

Love these guys! They take great care of you and you feel good about it. Care places can be so difficult to deal with. It's not the case with Barrett and the crew.

Convenient, courteous, and trustworthy. But call in advance. They only take reservations for oil changes. And are closed on the weekend.
