Munich west is an amazing shop. I brought a poor example of an e39 540i to them to get back on the road. They were honest, fair and quick to get everything sorted so I could get the car on the road. I have sent everyone I know that owns a BMW or mini to them. Hard to find honest shops that don t want to punch you in the pocket.Services: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Electrical, Auto brake repair, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto battery maintenance, Auto brake replacementServices: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Electrical, Auto brake repair, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto battery maintenance, Auto brake replacement

My husband and I have been Munich West customers for > 20 years with all of our cars (BMWs, Volvo). We love Mike, Steve and all the mechanics! There is rarely any wait time to get the car in the shop, the work is impeccable, always on time and the prices are reasonable. We feel respected and most importantly safe driving our cars after regular service, smaller or bigger repairs. The selection of the brand of the next car we buy will primarily depend on the brands Munich West can take care of for us.

I had a great experience. I dropped my car off at the shop and they called me each and every day about the updates. They told me a lot of great information about my vehicle that I did not know along with how to treat my battery for as a BMW it was a lot of hard work, but it was able to complete it From the camo Bmw guy thanks a lot we recommend many people .

Munich West has serviced my 2010 BMW for nine years. It is reassuring that I can depend on them whenever I have a problem with my car. Communication is easy and repairs completed in a timely manner.

I've had a 1999 BMW and a newer VW serviced here & have always had a great experience with both! They are faster and more affordable than taking it to the dealership, and they're very informative as well about how to take great care of my car in between servicing it. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else in Atlanta!Services: Tires, Auto brake repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil changeServices: Tires, Auto brake repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

These guys are great! They don t try to sell you extra services but keep you updated on the things that need doing. I especially appreciate this as a female customer. Reasonable prices for the cars they service.

This shop is Amazing! My trunk sensor light started coming on in late December 2021 and kept draining my battery. I replaced 4 batteries before I realized 7 months later what was causing it. I called Munich and dropped off my car, they contacted me before they performed any work on my car. Now it s almost 2 months later and my car is starting everyday and I don t have to hear that annoying chime constantly while driving. I am so thankful for you guys and your professionalism! I will definitively be taking my car to Munich for all of my future car repairs.Services: Electrical, Auto battery maintenance

Was excited to see a highly reviewed SAAB specialist but ended up very disappointed by nickel and dime tactics. Went in to have rattle checked out and car inspected in general for other issues - they repaired rusted middle heat shield for reasonable price - then told me I needed a vacuum pump for $500 and that the rear heat shield was also rusting and needed repair soon. Car was still rattling as I left so they didn t really check it out - I decided to have Midas check it out - a rear strut Mount had failed. Within a week another rattle started as the rear heat shield came loose. Waste of time and nearly a waste of my money - ordered the $100 vacuum pump myself and replaced at Midas in 15 min for $80 labor. And that was a non-SAAb expert who took 15 min. Ridiculous.Service: Exhaust

I was an original employee of Munich West in 1976 and a founding member of Peachstate Region BMWCCA. I think there were five of us total. I do not own any of the cars they service today - but I can tell you that this business was founded on a fanatical commitment to quality, fairness, customer service, and performance. Based on everything I can see today - they are following the same standards we established back in 1976.

A breathe of fresh air from the dealership. Steve provided a timeframe and price to fix my passenger door of my 328i, all went as planned, no problems so far. I take my car to them from time to time. Glad I found them.

Awesome guys..I've been going to Munich West for a while now and they by far are the most efficient and knowledgeable for BMW's. They also are very reasonable on their repair fees compared to some of the dealers and other local repair shops.

I rarely write reviews, but I have to give Munich West 5 stars for great customer service and honesty!A couple weeks ago I took my car in to the dealer for a recall and they found an oil leak during the courtesy inspection. I brought it in to my regular mechanic for a second opinion - they confirmed the leak and gave me a quote that was more than $100 higher than the dealer.I started looking for a better price and found Munich West. Steve gave me an estimate over the phone which beat out both the dealer and my regular mechanic by 10-20%. When I brought my car in, they inspected it and found that the leak was barely seeping. Steve called me to recommend that he put a note in my file and monitor it the next time I come in.While they may not have billed a repair today, they gained a new regular customer!

We've been using Munich West for several years and are very happy with the service we've received for our 2 BMW's. On more than one occasion we were told by the dealer that repairs were needed only to have MW disagree, which has saved us hundreds of dollars or more. They are extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy and we highly recommend this business!

Just like to give a great thumbs up to Munich West. Mike and staff were great. I had some major issues with a rodent wrecking havoc with my engine belts on my 2003 M5. Long story short they did an excellent job getting it right and it s back running perfect. I know they spent many more hours on it then they billed me for and I appreciate that. I m sure the dealership price would have been double or more. Thanks again Mike. I ll be back.

If been going to these guys for the better part of 20 years. They are hands down the best European car mechanics in the Atlanta area. They have worked on my 76 BMW, 2005 Volvo, 93 Saab and my 2014 BMW. Their prices are fair, they are true to their word and they don't jack you around. I trust no one else with my current ultimate driving machine.

took my BMW in for service and these guys did a great job. I had gotten a bad oil change at a shell station and oil had leaked all over inside the hood. They fixed everything for me at a very reasonable price. While I was driving the car home, a warning light came on, and the owner himself came to my house (30 min away) to fix the problem, all without additional charge. He even called me the next day just to make sure things were all ok! These guys do great work, have great customer service, and really go the extra mile! I would highly recommend Munich West as a place to take your car. I won t be going anywhere else in the future!

I've been taking my BMWs to Munich West ever since it opened in 1976, because they are unfailingly honest, the pricing is always fair, and their expertise and quality of work is second to none. There's no better European car repair shop. I'd never consider taking mine anywhere else.

I have been going to Munich West for many years, and I have to say they are the best repair shop I have ever been to. They have worked on my Volvo, and my husbands BMW and they do nothing but the best work. They are very honest people and in the mechanic world that is very hard to find. They have never charged me for something my car did not need, and have always been very friendly. I would recommend this shop to anyone with a German car.

I generally don't like to write reviews over things that take a long time to truly know what level of service was provided to you. I've taken in my 2005 Saab 9-3 to them twice in 3 years for regular scheduled major service.PRICE: They are head and shoulders above the dealership on price. The quality of work is fine. My latest visit I also needed them to install a new rear quarter panel lens, of which I was only charged a fraction of an hour for labor (i supplied the part). No gimmicks.SERVICE: My first visit with them I believe did take a few days to do, but I prepared myself for that. Sometimes you just need to ask the right questions ahead of time so YOU are the customer are prepared and informed, which is what should always be required of the customer. For, the most recent visit last month, I had to go out of town so I dropped off my car for the WEEK and Steve happily arranged for a ride to the metro to get me to the airport. Great service. Free parking also! :) Some older reviews paint Steve as a terrible provider of customer service, but I found him to be a good guy, albeit a little straightforward. He did let me know up front what he would and wouldn't be able to fix on a recent inquiry. But seriously though, where else are you gonna call that has Guns N Roses "Sweet Child of Mine" blasting in the background? Stay awesome, Steve.

They don't even deserve a star really. My girl friend took her BMW Munich-East after it was recommended and the I was very disappointing for her. they keep finding things wrong she agreed to have the repair done. The vehicle has not been running right since. I was told Steve the little fat dude was very rude and raised his voice at her when she was explaining what was going on with her vehicle. I think he has some real issues and it may be with people of color. He's very some time-ish and a way that people that have to deal with the public should not be when people are spending thousands of dollars at there business establishment.. Mike tried his best but still the vehicle was not repair to satisfaction for the price. Took it to BMW and they stated no way they could have done that type of work from what they found. Hope this is a reality check for them and others. don't get ripped off. still have $5,000. worth of work to be done on the vehicle.

I've owned two SAAB's and I have only used Munich West for all of my services. The prices are amazing considering the service received. I've gotten quotes from different vendors and they can never beat Munich West. Fair, honest, affordable, friendly, professional, and really nice people. I'm not sure what burr got into the guys tail that wrote the negative comment, but, then again what kinda name is that anyway. Disregard the negative and you will have identified a new service provider for your imported vehicle for a lifetime.

These guys are the best!!!! From start to finish it was a great experience... They fixed a problem with my BMW that global imports couldn't.. They didn't try to take advantage of the fact that I'm a woman.. And they are super nice!! They're def my new go to people.. THANK YOU GENTLEMEN FOR EVERYTHING!,Oh and they also referred me to another company for an alignment since they couldn't do it.. (my car requires a certain machine) I wish I could give them more stars..

I've had several issues since my warranty ran out on my BMW. The first one I had was when my check engine light came on, so I took it to Hank Aaron BMW knowing that dealerships love to screw you.Well bingo they came back and told me I had a cracked radiator and needed a new one and it was going to cost $2500. Well a friend told me about Munich West, a bmw repair shop in Decatur. I took my car over there and they ran some tests and guess what... There was a small leak in my radiator, but no replacement radiator was needed just a minor fix, final bill just over $200. There's no telling how much money these guys have saved me since my warranty ran out. I'm guessing well over $5000. These guys are great and very affordable. I highly recommend!
