5 Stars! My overall experience with Mavis tires Store was outstanding. The store manager Tenecia is doing an excellent job with her whole team! The service exceeded my expectations....All were professional and courteous. Brian David, Marshall, William, Mr. G, Sonny, Connor, Daveroy and Owen is definitely an asset to your company and community. They even stay after closing to complete the job. I want to personally thank your team.

I have a 2003 Ford E150 work van. I got new tires all round and a full wheels alignment. I average two to three miles a week. After two weeks I noticed a strange wear in the front/ left tire. I return to Mavis late Friday after work. Left the van there to be check out. Ms. Erica call me and explain what's wrong and begin to Hunt for the parts. I love thee sprite and attitude of their worker. Mr. James upfront was very professional with me and I over heard him deal with another customer very good while I waited for my Uber. Ms. Erica call me and gave me prices and time to repair. I love the facts that Mavis is open Saturday & Sunday. It is very helpful for me. Ms. Erica called me to inform my van is ready for pickup. The negative reviews are unfortunately very accurate. I won t be coming back and I advise you to avoid if you value your time and money. Very expensive compared to other options in the area. I went for just an oil change, they told me 2 hours and it ended up being over 4 hours. They also took all my wheels off to do whatever is part of their routine inspection. They got dirty oil stains in the interior of my car. Picture shows how they put the hubcaps back loose on the wheels. It s an beater car so I don t care - but they should care more. This just shows the level of respect this establishment lacks for your vehicle.

Try to avoid this place. Everything is so slow and unorganized. I had a reservation today at 11 am to change my tires. It usually take 30-45 minutes right? They told me that there are many people in front of me so it is going to be 2 hours. But it actually took three hours to finish. Most of the time the person is just standing next to the vehicle doing nothing. What s more? They got engine oil and dirt all over my white interior. IT DOESN T COME OFF even in the deep clean place with chemicals!!!!!! It will stay in there forever on the leather!!!In addition, just the cost of changing engine oil and wheel alignment cost 250 dollars. What a scam!!!! They told me one price and bill me much higher price because it is an BMW . In this case, I would appreciate a clear pricing before I decide to go for it or not. Don t just force these things on your customers!If you precious your car and time, please don t come here. It is expensive, inefficient, and the people are rude and inrespectiful of you and your car!

Front desk service was amazing (Marshaun). I was running over an hour late for my appointment and they were still able to help me and to complete my service. It was a warm and friendly environment throughout my entire service. I have been in here prior to that for another recent tire experience and both times they were all consistent with great customer service.

First, when I arrived I was very politely told that I had mistakenly made an appointment at a different location that was nearby. I explained that the vehicle could not be driven any further and I asked if this location could accommodate my vehicle at some point during that day. They were so kind, understanding, and accommodating. They explained that there was a tire that was comparable with what was on the vehicle and disclosed the cost up-front. I did NOT feel any pressure to buy multiple tires and it was a very seamless drop-off experience.Then a few hours later I received a phone call informing me that my vehicle was ready, but then in that moment I realized that I had forgotten to also ask for my tires to also be rotated (which was a part of the original appointment but at the other location). They were SO obliging and so nice!! They said no problem and that they could do this for me the same day. Then a few hours later they called (again) to tell me that the car was ready (again). When I came to pick up the vehicle, I was met with a smile and positive energy from Brian B! He did NOT make me feel bad (at all) for forgetting to include the tire rotation in the original appointment discussion. I also want to shoutout David C for all the hard work as well. I am very thankful for how considerate everyone was and how they got me back out on the road within the same day!

I recently visited Mavis Tire & Brakes in Decatur, GA, and I must say, the customer service exceeded my expectations. David and Brian went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met promptly and efficiently. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly made my experience exceptional. Got an estimate on the phone by tanisha the female that s works the phone and once I arrived I was over charged for an alignment.She stated their phone wasn t the phone number that I called but proceeded to tell me a wrong phone number and I called the store with the number online while she answer my call to another phone number.She got an attitude because I stated that I spoke a female employee and asked multiple employees for a female employee and stated she the only female and stated she want the one to answer the cal. Terrible customer service

Had an appointment and dropped off my car was told two hours to replace all the tires. I went and did shopping all morning came back in four hours and they hadn t even brought the car in. I just asked for my keys back. I should have known better. The Mavis on Snapfinger Woods was not great either.

Brian and Marshun both have wonderful customer service skills. They are personable, funny and friendly. The entire team at this Mavis location is helpful. The customer service is always helpful and welcoming even if you have to wait for several hours. The wait can be long if you are a walk in, so I recommend scheduling an appointment ahead of time. I appreciate the team working with me and helping me fix the car.

I had a great experience with Marshun and other staff members. I went in for two tires with an alignment. I had an issue where the dealership didn t put my wheel lock back in my car. I thought I was going to have to reschedule, but they saved the day and calmed my nerves because I was livid. I was assured that they could get it done and they DID!This location will be my choice anytime I need work done on my car.They all were so pleasant to work with!Keep up the great customer service, you re greatly appreciated!!!-The Introvert

This morning started out poorly with a dash alert that my tire pressure was very low. Thank you to BRIAN at Mavis Tires Decatur for working me into this morning s schedule! There was a utility blade embedded into a channel. Brian talked me through the options and I was goody to go. Brian treated every customer with good hospitality - fantastic customer service!

Service was very slow and disorganized. I made an appointment at 2 o clock, when I arrived they told me they had double booked and it would be around two hours. Called them at 4:30 and they still hadn t started on my car. Staff was nice and the price was fine but if you are in any kind of rush at all this is not the place to go. I don t understand why they would book me for 2 o clock knowing they couldn t see me until close to closing time? I would have made other plans.

I have driven various vehicles for 60 years and have driven over 1,100,000 miles in that time. I was feeling the obvious vibration of a warped rotor when I stepped on the brakes. I had previously been to Mavis for brake work and had rotors and pads replaced 35,000 miles ago. I made an appointment online for brake check, tire rotation and oil change. I was called about an hour after I left the car and was told, "My mechanic says the pads and rotors are fine. Your problem is the engine mounts and transmission mounts and when you step on the brakes the engine is torquing in its seat causing the vibration. I can get you a price on replacing the engine mounts and transmission mounts." I disagreed with their assessment and asked them to replace the front pads and rotors. I have the car back and the problem is gone. When I picked it up, I asked for the old pads and rotors because at this point, I was leery of trusting this shop. They said they had already been thrown away or mixed in with others and couldn't be separated it wasn t clear why they couldn t return them. However, since the vibration is gone, I have to assume they did change the rotors and pads. They did note on the work order that they advised me of their assessment and that I went ahead with the repair I wanted. They did the repairs surprisingly quickly, and did not charge me for the tire rotation, and the oil change was reasonable. That's why I gave them 2 rather than 1 stars. However, I don t feel I can trust this shop and will not return for mechanical work in the future. On the post-service survey they emailed me I recommended they find a more competent mechanic and always be honest with their clients. It is possible my assessment of the issue is incorrect, but I doubt it.

Went in and asked for my tires to be balanced and rotated. They got the job done, but it took 5 hours longer than what they said it would be!! They give a free examination and told me I needed new rotors, break pads, a brake fluid flush, and new air filters. I turned them down and took the car to my actual reliable mechanic the next day and my mechanic told me my car needed NONE of those things. Be careful when you take your car here they are cheats, liars, and terrible business people.

I had another cool walk-in experience, was coming for an oil change & coolant flush, but they don't offer coolant flush as a service. Marshawn listened to my concern as far as the best oil for my vehicle, and made a recommendation that, so far, has my car sounding & feeling a lot better. She made sure they checked my car well, and informed me of recommendations for additional needed services- which I agreed with. So far, I've had CV axles, back brakes & rotors, & 2 oil changes done here...all have gone great.

Made an appointment for 4 new tires and was given a price online. Arrived on time, and handed over the custom tire lock key, to which they were excited about because of the hassle one must go through if they do not have the key. Then had to wait 30 minutes after my car was taken before I spoke to anyone else. They offered me tons of other products and services, sometimes over and over again all of which I turned down. Another hour has gone by and I am brought up again and told that the price of the tires are going to be way more than what I already agreed to, like $100 more. I had to accept because I NEEDED new tires. As if the scam wasn t obvious and bad enough the mechanic lost my custom tire lock key, and instead of offering to pay it back, they have offered a few terrible options that cost more of my time and money of which I have very little of. Phone calls with the employees and managers have been embarrassing and completely frustrating. These people are not professionals who will scam you of your money and run.

UPDATE -- it got worse: called the customer service line as requested and spoke with a very skilled customer service rep. She said she try to correct the over charge and the store would call to reverse part of the charge. Surprise! No one called and no reversal has been received. Had it been reversed, I would have posted an update to that effect and been more inclined to offer a second chance. This just made the experience worse. customer service not empowered to execute a $16 correction says all you need to know about how much they respect their customers or how many issues they have.Terrible business practices. Went there to have a tire put on a rim. They couldn't figure out the tire size so I bought it on Amazon and they were listed as preferred partner charging $16 for mounting the tire. I went back to have it mounted to buy local.I surprised and find it cost $40 with a snarky attitude from the svc manager. Last time I buy anything from them.

The customer service was beyond excellent. I had a flat tire and my road side would only tow it to the nearest shop. Long story short, it had to go to a dealership because the tire was still under warranty. They put my spare tire on so I could avoid having to get a tow truck. The whole staff was patient, kind, and sympathetic which helped make a stressful situation easier to deal with.

I was given a 10am appointment to have my tires checked because they are slowly leaking air, I brought the tires from Marvis 3 months ago. These are new tires they should not be leaking air. I sat in the lobby from 9:50am until 12 noon with no service done, I finally said enough I'm leaving , the Manager came out immediately got my car left my doors open with the key in the starter "on" , turned his back to me and walked away as if I was wasting his time. He never spoke to me about anything the entire time I was there...you people called me and asked me to bring my car in so you could inspect the tires you sold to me!!! Once they fix the problem with my tires I will never never do business with them again. I spent nearly $250.00 for Leakey tires

Very friendly and professional. Good service and they offer free air at this location! I have a crack in my tire and they replaced the same day.Reason I took off one star was because they didn't inflate ALL my tires to the correct pressure after requesting they do so. So I went up the next day and just did it myself.I will definitely use them again. The other guys/shops are pretty rude in general.

We scheduled an appointment at 9am, arrived 15 minutes early and the car was seen in an hour. They called us to confirm the service and told us a wait time of an hour. We came back an hour later and waited for 15 mins. When we asked for an eta, they told us 20 more minutes. We finally saw the car being driven out and walked to the front to pay. When a rude lady (employee) was talking loudly to a coworker about why were we waiting up front because she had to deal with more important things. Afterwards, she deemed us important enough to directly talk to and said we would be called when they were ready. Never again.

I absolutely love this place. I brought my car in and I was given detail information on the work my car needed. My car was even fixed the same day I brought it in. Brian was so helpful and very professional. Other car places need employees like him. The service was outstanding.

It never ceases to amaze me how incompetent and disrespectful businesses can be. When we called, we were told it would take 15 minutes to diagnose my car, and I set an appointment. However, when I arrived, I was told it would take an hour. After just under three hours of waiting there, the worker came up to me claiming that my car needed $2,500 in work. Of the things that were quoted, most were likely unnecessary and arguably deceptive business practices in my opinion. I went because of a minor noise emanating from one of the brake pads and expected that they could replace it for the special price of $165 only to be quoted this absurd amount. They claimed that they would need to replace all of the brake pads and calipers (although I believe the calipers were replaced not long ago.) Further, they claimed the tires needed to be replaced, even though they were relatively recently replaced and have most of their tread depth. Furthermore, they claimed that the battery needed to be replaced and I took it to Autozone and had it checked and was told it was fine. I did not get my car back for over three hours and had to sit there and wait all for nothing. Nonetheless, I watched youtube videos and replaced the rear brakes and calipers myself for the price of what they would have charged for likely subpar pads alone. When I took the calipers off myself, I measured and found that they were well within the accepted threshold according to my elementary research, and therefore it may not have been entirely necessary to replace them. Do not go here unless you want to be taken advantage of and receive subpar and perhaps unnecessary service for an exorbitant price. If you need tires, I highly recommend Sam s Club or Costco instead.
