My car has a huge scratch on the (driver side) rear door after Mavis parked the car on their own property after doing a terrible alignment. They refuse to acknowledge that they are responsible for it. They say it didn t happen in their shop and must have happened in their parking lot after they parked the car. I have an Arlo camera video of me pulling out of my driveway with no scratches on the door. It is not disputed by Mavis that it happened under their care while I was not on the premises. They do dispute this is their fault and I'm on my own.The "alignment" has left my car with the steering wheel at 10 o'clock for the tires to be straight. The alignment was not like this when I dropped it off. In fact, I didn t even know I needed an alignment until just a week prior when Costco put four new tires on the car and said they were worn in a way that indicated I needed an alignment.My wife's Atlas also went in on the same day for two new tires on the front. The wheels were filthy with brake dust and a huge greasy/dusty smeared handprint on the white side panel. We complained about the brake dust and the tech came out with two baby wipes (one wipe for each tire) to smear all the dust around further. Needless to say, we had to clean it ourselves when we got home. While on the way home, the underinflated tire pressure light came on. Turns out, they overinflated one new tire so much that it threw the whole system off and the light came on.The damaged door remains damaged. I'm terrified of taking the car back to this place to get the alignment fixed because what will happen next? I asked the manager... "what did you guys do right?" She had no answer and promptly hung up.I provided video of the alignment and the photos of the scratch to their corporate office who keeps pushing it back to the store manager. I have never received a call from the regional manager or corporate. If anything changes, I'll update this post. It is unfortunate that I had to give 1 start to this incompetent business.I want the public to know to spare you the grief I'm going through. If you choose to go here instead of the multitude of more competent auto shops in the area, good luck. My problems were all from the Mavis location on Dekalb Industrial Way in Decatur, GA.READ THE REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE!!! I wish we had before going here. UGH!!Any lawyers out there???

I been having problems with my front brakes for months and today everything was done smoothly even though on the tire helper, flexshopper website was acting really crazy on us when me and my mom was trying to make the right payment. My boy Jay for Mavis tires and brakes he came in clutch, was more than patient, made everything convenient for pricing and leasing for us both A1 service!!

I got a flat tire pretty suddenly and pulled in here because it was the closest tire shop. Aurora was so kind from the moment I walked inside. She put me at ease and immediately gave me the best options to get the tire replaced. It was quick and thorough. Everyone at the shop was helpful and attentive. Will definitely be making this location our go-to tire spot. Thanks again!

Aurora and Jalen went above and beyond replacing my brake pads and rotors. They were very honest about how they handled everything, and gave me recommendations and solutions to different things going on with my car. I ll definitely be coming back to have all of my needs taken care of with my car.

I came in last minute on a Thursday with a bolt in my tire. Aurora and Quinton got me taken care of incredibly fast! Beautiful energy and quick service. I will definitely recommend this location to others. For an affordable price, and speedy service, I am very grateful

This place is ridiculous! I think I could ve taken it absolutely anywhere and got a better diagnosis than I got .I came in with what I assumed was a brake problem, they said they checked all the rotors calipers and pads and they were all perfectly fine, then they charged me 150 bucks to bleed the brake system, ok, I figured, if it ll help, and I decided to go ahead and get the tires rotated and balanced to see if that helped the wobbling problem, the guy told me he took it on a test drive and it was fine, I picked the car up after hours after paying $250 they somehow lost one center cap, which is $79 at the Audi dealership, but the problem I brought it in for is worse than when I took it in, and I am no closer to knowing what the problem is! I would ve been better off wadding up the money and throwing it out the window! I ll NEVER go to this place again .horrible!

Aurora and John were so helpful! I had to get three of my tire sensor light batteries replaced but they showed me the price upfront and gave me a good estimate of how long it would take. The waiting room had water and a TV I could use as well. So happy my tire pressure light is finally off for the first time in months!

I was able to call and speak with an associate after experiencing a flat on my way home to see if the tire was in stock. The agent was patient, understanding and professional. After verifying that they had the tire, I was able to get right in (from tow) to repair. I had a good experience after a not so good start to the morning

I have been coming to this place since it was NTB. Every single time me or my husband ever had tire issues, questions or concerns, they are there to help. The people are friendly and knowledgeable, THEY GET THE JOB DONE!!!! It s so sad how terrible customer service is and how inhumane people have become, every time I walk into this store I feel like family. We laugh together, talk about life and cars, the best part is the work is quality, it s guaranteed, and it s affordable. They will look for every deal and discount possible. Jay in particular has helped me on several occasions and he is very quick, kind and knowledgeable. And not that anyone is better than anyone else but SHAYLA one of the lovely ladies that works up front, she has been my girl from day one! So understanding and such a pleasure to speak and work with. These people understand that life happens and it has to keep going, so they do everything possible so WE can MAKE LIFE HAPPEN.

Excellent customer service everything was done in a timely fashion. I was met with very good reception and help and my problems were taken care of immediately. Definitely would recommend to all people in the area and outside of the area if you were looking for decent tire service and excellent customer service on top of that.

I had one of my work trucks in for a brake job and a wheel balance, which they told me I didn't need new rotors, just pads. I had to bring it back in 2 days after the job because my steering wheel was violently shaking around 60 mph. They clearly did not do the balance the first time. Several weeks later, I had to bring it back in because my rotors were warped. When I went back in, they wanted to charge me another $600 to redo the job. As a small business owner, having to bring my work truck in 3+ times for one job is a huge inconvenience. I ended up taking it elsewhere for a lot less money and a satisfactory job. Sadly, I won't ever go back to this location after this experience.

I worked with Jaylen, Dakota, and Aurora and they were the next of the best. I came in for a simple brakes done, of course they tell you about other problems when you go anywhere, but long story short I was overwhelmed. It was things that once I knew about it I had to get it fixed. My car is my lively hood. They were so nice and patient and absolutely worked with me so that I can get the things done. Definitely will be back there again!!!

For some reason, I reallly want to trust this Mavis. So I keep trying. This review is based on my most recent visit. I made an appointment for an oil change and wheel alignment. They said to bring in the car the next day at 9. I did exactly that. At about 2, I received a call saying that I need tie rods before they can guarantee the alignment. I asked if it would be completed that day. The tech said sure, so I gave my approval. One half-hour before close, I had heard nothing so I called. They never did the tie rods and alignment due to an 'emergency'. When I picked up the car, I was told they had only one mechanic and due to that emergency (car fire) they had to devote his efforts to that. I have had other less-than-stellar service issues with this location before, but I had great hopes when I heard the district manager talking to the mechanic/tech about getting things in order when I dropped off my car. They did give me a $35 discount on the oil change, but it took over 8 hours! Also, my key fob was just sitting on the counter when I arrived. No paperwork, no person at the counter for a hot 30 seconds after my ride and I arrived and were talking in the waiting area. They did not know I was coming to retrieve my car. Finally, my seat/stearing wheel setting were really off. It was dark so I haven't checked for any oil residue on the interior yet. That was an issue the last time I brought my business there. Beware.

Quick and friendly service. I got new tires, and less than a week later had a road hazard. They swapped out the tire no problem. I will go back for new tires next time I need them.

The price was given to me on the phone for a four tire change and full service yesterday, to which I made an appointment for today. 45 minutes after dropping off my car, I get a call asking me if I need an alignment, and if I do, then it's going to be extra. Now, I dont know much about cars, but if someone tells me the price of buying new tires and a full service, I would assume that the alignment is included. The guy on the phone was practically screaming at me as if it was my fault for getting my tires from them.

Came for an oil change after work nearby and had a very pleasant experience. Great customer service, Na Drica (manager) and Shayla (assistant manager) were kind, helpful and accommodating. I ll be coming back to this Mavis.

Short version: I went in for a balance check and alignment check because of a vibration I felt when driving. $2200 and 3 revisits later, I find out their balance machine was not working properly and was told to go somewhere else to have the balance done correctly.Long version: Don and Shalya were very professional and helpful. I appreciate their customer service. I appreciate the 2 technicians that did the test drives with me as well.After my alignment and balance check, I was told I needed to have my rear wheel bearing, tie rod ends, sway bar, brake pads and rotors replaced. I did those but when I left, the car felt even more weird when driving/stopping and I heard scraping when I turned. I brought it back the next day and was told the plate behind the rotor was bent, so they corrected that.After leaving and getting on the highway, still feeling weird and at 50+ mph, the car started vibrating even harder. I went back ended up having one of the technicians drive it. He then told me the rotor was warped and they had to correct this.Left and when I was on the highway, felt the same initial vibration that I had when I first brought my car in for the balance and alignment check. I was asked to come in on the weekend (Saturday), so the tech could take it on a longer test drive and possibly help diagnose the issue.When I came in on Saturday and explained the situation and my previous visits to Eric, he suggested I no longer spend money with them on trying to fix the issue because "just like our body, it could be various things that are wrong and it's really a guessing game on what the issue could be."I waited until Don came in and he had a tech do a test drive with me. The technician told me it felt like was unbalanced and he had mentioned to others that the balance machine was not working properly. So that's when I was told to go somewhere else to have it balanced correctly.I'm not saying the work that I had done didn't need to be addressed; however, it could have possibly been addressed overtime. Had I know the balance machine was not working correctly, I could have taken it to a different Mavis or shop and had it done correctly the first time, and got everything else fixed over the next few weeks/months.

I have been going to this location for many years and the service has continued to be excellent since they switched from NTB to Mavis. I recently had them evaluate my Honda Odyssey minivan for a battery issue. They ended up changing my battery and alternator. Things went well initially but then the car died again after a couple of months. Their battery technician, Iotinde, evaluated the car and said it was a parasitic leak. I took it to the Honda dealership to have it evaluated but they were of no assistance. I brought it back to Mavis and Iotinde was able to identify the systems that were causing the leak. It was clear that he is very knowledgable about these issues and was much more informative and helpful than the Honda dealership. He was able to solve the issue and I haven t had any issues since! Additional kiddos to the manager there, Nadrika. Both were very helpful and made what could have been a frustrating experience much less painful. I would happily recommend Mavis for tire or battery issues!

My son was driving with bad tires & screeching brakes. When we went to Mavis on Dekalb Industrial Way in Decatur, Jay was so professional and patient with us. We didn't know our tir� size. He went outside and did an walk around came back and said 1 tire was practically brand new on the back passenger side, but the other 3 tires were worn and the tread was bad. Jay was honest and transparent. He spoke truthfully and helped us get financing through Mavis by telling us about FlexShop. We had never heard of this program.Jay broke down the front and back wheel alignment process to us. Because again we aren't educated on alignments.It's refreshing to have someone in a position who is not only knowledgeable and talented in customer service skills. But also kind and patient. I fully trust Jay's expertise and will forever be a customer because of Jay!We signed up fir the lifetime warranty on my son's tires and brakes.Jay is a #ROCKStar!
