I brought my car in about a month ago when it wouldn't start. They said my car ran out of gas and the fuel gauge in the dashboard was reading incorrectly. They replaced the fuel level sensors in my gas tank and got my car running but then said the fuel gauge was still reading incorrectly and wanted to replace my dashboard cluster. Something did not sound right but I was somewhat satisfied since they got my car running but they did charge me $1500 for the repair. I had my long time mechanic of 15+ years in Duluth check out the issue and he was able to resolve the problem. He said the module behind the AC wasn't working and he fixed it without buying a replacement and now my fuel gauge is reading accurately. He charged me $300 for the repair.I used Decatur Auto Repair because they were close to where I live and my mechanic in Duluth was backed up for 5 weeks. I wish the problem was diagnosed more thoroughly so I wouldn't have to spend $1500 initially and still have issues.

OMG!! I haven t been able to use my car for a month and these guys fixed my car THE SAME DAY IT WAS TOWED IN!!! I wasn t even prepared to have it so soon and it s running so well again! They didn t try to overcharge me or tack on any unnecessary things like other mechanics have tried to do since I m a female and people like Pep Boys have loosened my wires and pretended I needed more work than I did. VERY TRUSTWORTHY and FRIENDLY and that goes a long way these days. Thank you so much for helping me!! Services: Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

They re thieves I don t recommend giving your money to these people. Over 3,000 dollars in the drain. NEVER AGAIN!

Get a second opinion before letting these people work on your vehicle, they told me that my rotors were rusty and needed replacing, I agreed, later that day I spoke with a mechanic he told me that rusty rotors are common and that my rotors didn't need replacing, times are hard people can't afford car maintenance as it is, but one thing I know what goes around comes around, they also charge me $45.00 to install an air filter , and another $45.00 to install a cabin air filter,I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
