I have had nothing but good experiences with Mavis. I ve brought all my cars in for work to be done and the folks here are always very helpful. Justin and the team went above and beyond to make sure my car was up to date and safe to drive.I am super happy with their work and will continue to bring my vehicles in.

Needed brake pads and some work done on my vehicle. I took my car in for service and knew it d be a little while since they were busy and I didn t have an appointment. To me, busy means someone s doing good work. Very knowledgeable mechanics and they did nice work. The front Sales Clerk was professional and took time to chat. Clean restroom and an overall nice business. I ll return when the need arises and highly recommend Mavis

People and very nice and helpful. They are upfront If there is an extended wait and will keep you updated with what was doing on with your vehicle.I can in not quiet knowing what to expect, know how very much my car means as a single mom living pay check to pay check. I will tell you that the amazing staff when over the top to work to get my car fixed. Hand down i would recommend if you need your vehicle worked on.

I got my tires worked on here. It was a very quick smooth process, and the manager assisted me at the front desk and was very Pleasant. I would definitely recommend coming here for any tire issues.

These guys are just amazing. I've had a lot of work done to my truck there and each job has been on point and perfect. Every employee has been knowledgeable, respectful, and very courteous. I highly recommend them for all of your vehicle's needs.

I bought 4 new tires and an alignment last week. After 24 hours I had a tire lose air and was almost flat. I was afraid if I brought my car back that I would be charged for a fix. Justin took my keys and said "don't worry, we will take care of it." My valve stem was quickly replaced and I wasn't charged a thing. My brake replacement a few months ago was also a personable and positive experience. Thanks Justin! I will be a returning customer.

Very professional and friendly! Would highly recommend, even helped me out when quoted a price that was too high for me, worked with me to make sure I left with what was needed for my vehicle. Keep you informed if the wait was going to be a while. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

Love my tires but not the 2-1/2 hours it took to mount and align them, an alignment I shouldn't have needed. That wait was with an appointment and only 1 person ahead of me. I also couldn't get all my questions answered before the next customer was being addressed.

Do not go here! I Came back to Mavis for a tire rotation since it was a place I have had great experience with in the past. It is under new management was ripped off and treated very rudely. They told me the key to my lock nut was going strip out due to my tires being over torqued I gave them money for new nuts. When I got the key to the lock nuts back it was NOT STRIPPED. I call the manager Justin who proceeds to laugh at me over the phone saying it would strip out in the process of putting the lock nuts back on the tire (a complete lie that s not how things getting stripped out works) However, he says he will give me thirty dollars back. When I arrive he says they need to put my lock nuts on and use my key proving that my key was not going to strip out then refunds my money. The attitude presented throughout the hole situation was horrible, disrespectful, completely rude and just down right awful customer service. They have lost my trust and service from me as well as the rest of my family who has had bad experiences with Mavis before. The reason I am giving a two star is because they were willing to refund the money which I appreciate!

This is my go-to tire shop.While I cannot speak to the sales strategy / ethics of other locations (I would imagine there is some variation from store to store based on management etc) - I can certainly tell you that this location, on Power Center Dr, has NEVER, EVER tried to sell me a good or service my car did not need.When I have needed tires or service, the process has always been super simple, they make it easy to understand what you re getting, and always try to find a way to work a current promotion into the sale.Also, if you buy your tires here, tire rotations and TIRE inspection/consultation is always free :)I read somewhere that it s a good idea to go with a national chain for your tires so that no matter where you are driving, if you have an issue with your tires, you can go to the same retailer you bought the tires from.Mavis fits that bill, and I have been to several different locations around the Atlanta area over the past few years.Mavis also has decent rotating promotions, if you know you are in the market for tires or service, keep a look out for local specials.Kimberley (sp?) helped me today and she exemplified all the quality and care I have come to expect from this location.

Mavis Tire is reasonably priced. Justin the manager makes it point to have my car serviced in a timely manner, he explains to me what my car needs and different pricing options. I get all my family vehicles serviced here and wouldn t think of going anywhere else!

Mavis has been taking care of my cars for 10+ years. The employees have always been super great and pleasant to deal with, they never over charge me for anything which is nice because so many car places take advantage of women drivers, but not Mavis! They definitely keep me coming back and a customer for life!

Came back to Mavis Dawsonville for a tire rotation since it was a place I have had great experience with in the past. Not anymore. It is now under new "management." Whole new crew. Treated very rudely. We were the 1st appt (8 am) of the morning & arrived a few minutes before opening. Several workers were inside the building so we started to walk towards the building to check in. The manager (female) was walking in ahead of us & once in, locked the door. One of the workers yelled "it's too early!" Um ..5 mins is too early? Then when we checked it, the guy acted like he was being put out. I asked for a sticker to reflect mileage so I would know when to rotate the tires again. He gave us a weird look & asked if they were doing an oil change as well. I again explained what I wanted; didn't think it was that odd of a request. I've asked for it before & it was never a problem. My car was pulled in (1st appt at 8 am). Didn't start to work on it until 30 mins later (while we're sitting in the freezing waiting area & waiting!!). They had to smoke & socialize first. Headbanger "music" blaring in the bay area. What should have been a quick 10 minute job ended up taking an hour. The attitude in this place now is unbelievable. Forget about customer service, there isn't any.

Pulled into Mavis Tire Dawsonville with a truck loaded with lumber and a blown tire. They gave me a great deal on four new tires and said the loaded truck would not be a problem. Some times bad things happen at just the right time and place.

Okay. Here's another bad review from!. The last time I took my car out there, they fixed a lug not.They did good on that. Yesterday was not good at all. I took it to Mavis to get the tires inflated. When I came to the desk & told them what I needed, she told me I have to make an appointment. I did. Everywhere else was closed. The next day, I brought my cousins truck to the place for the appointment. They actually told me I didn't need to make an appointment. They inflated the tires. I'm glad they did. It took a few minutes to get air in those tires. The ones that put the air in my tires are not the reason why I'm giving this a poor review. It's her (I don't know her name,) for lying to me about not helping me. She's the reason why & she doesn't need to treat her customers like that.i am thankful for those that helped me though. She's needs to be disciplined.

I ve gone to Mavis for a while now and the guys here are awesome! Got a puncture in my tire the night before so I had my loose tire and gave it to them before I went into work it was done when I got off. They took my spare off and put my tire back on in no time. If you get in a pinch they ll get you taken care of!! Thank you guys!!

Thank you Jeff and the techs at Mavis for getting my car drivable and safe. I needed new pads and rotors so I called around Dawsonville and they had the best price. Unfortunately, after they took a look at it I also had a caliper seized and needed to be replaced. He took pictures of the issue and reassured me I was not being charged for something that didn t need to be done. Let s be honest here, I m sure the thought has crossed your mind going to take your car in and more things come up that need to be replaced that were not on your list. Thank you again for the great customer service and helping me save some money on my brake service. :)

What a frustrating experience. My appointment was at 11am. Turns out they didn't even start working on my car until 2pm. No one would call with updates (as they said they would). So, I had to start making calls. I'd call, they would say about 30 minutes, then no one would call. I'd call again, another "ready in 30" response, and no one would call. This went on for 2 hours. I finally just showed up at 4pm, and it still wasn't ready. How is it possible that it takes 5 hours to change 2 tires? I am taking my business to Discount Tire, which is just down the street from this location.

I can t say enough about the entire team at Mavis tires and brakes in Dawsonville. From my first call, Kim the Assistant manager was very professional as I needed to have some CV axles checked that I knew we were going bad. First off they didn t oversell me. They just let me know what the issues were and how to go about fixing and making an appointment. Parker was the one that handled that for me along with the inspection that was conducted by Couch. The morning of the repairs, Justin the store Manager made sure that all the parts were there, and we proceeded with all the repairs. If nothing else the customer service was what was really extra. Couch did the repairs in an extremely timely manner as we actually added two extra tires to the mix Needless to say, I have some more things that need to be done and I ll be going back as soon as I able.Jim

Have been going here for over a year to get my oil changed and tires rotated, they do a free rotation with oil change. They charged me for the rotation today and when I asked they said it was because my tires were heavy. They have never had any issues with them being heavy and didn t inform me that they were going to charge me for the rotation. The person on the phone said well the team told me to charge you this time. Again I have been going here for a year taking both of my cars with no issues. I wont be back.

Came by Mavis on a recommendation from neighbor. Needed a stem replaced on a trailer tire. Small job but had one of the techs jump on it and I was in and out in 10 min. It s the small things that really stand out. They have earned my future business hands down.

I came into mavis this morning to get my car serviced and I would recommend coming to this location. I got greeted when I walked in, they were smiling and answer every question I had. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Kim and Justin you guys are the best.
