bought a new vehicle went very smoothly my sales man was John Davenport.this man went out of his way to do everything you could to make me happy which he did.I'd recommend talking to Mr Davenport if you want to buy a car.

All my experiences with this service center have been outstanding. When they detected a problem they determined it was from a recall and the service was free. Bought my last two trucks from them. Can't say enough good things about all my dealings with these folks!

My sister in law just bought her 6th car from here. The whole family has cars from this dealership. This company must be valuing customer service over profits. A rare find. I think I'll put them on my short list of go to's for a car. Good prices, too.

Hands down best service department!! My check engine light came on while vacationing in the area. Not being from the area, I didn t know where to take my car. After calling about 10 places they were the only place willing to help me out. I was only in town for a couple days but they got my car fixed and I was able to get back home with no issues. Rusty and the crew are life savers. Thank so much for all of your help. I wish I lived closer, as they are better than any place I ve dealt with in my hometown.

Josh really listened to my situation and didn't try to push me to something I didn't want. He didn't drag out my visit for hours, got me better financing than my pre-approval, and even was 'there' after the sale to make sure any concerns were taken care of (especially since it was a used vehicle). I Love my new Terrain and the service from Josh is a reason enough to 'write home to google'!

Went in to see a $43,000 Chevrolet and asked for the best price. Rock bottom price was $42,000. A thousand dollars off is pathetic and these people don't want to sell trucks but they do enjoy them sitting on the lot.They also leave vehicles on their website when they have already been sold. Do not buy from these people they don't want to DEAL. WE just got up and walked out. I have NEVER had a dealer not want to deal on a 4 year old used truck with 33,500 miles. It's used folks,,,,, so keep it. Love it! Die in it!Just don't buy from them!!!!

Another great dealership nice atmosphere a polite courtious informative staff and that's what makes a great dealership.its easy to see why when it comes to buying a new car JOHN MEGEL would be the first stop. A great place and parts dept.update at John Hegel still the best chevy dealership around.

I ve been servicing my truck here since I purchased it in 2017 (from another dealer, sales is another story). I m highly satisfied with the service team here. They know me when I call, know my vehicle, and do a great job repairing it. Mike C. Is my service advisor and he s top notch. Thankfully Chevy engineering is sketchy enough to bring me to this service team. I live an hour from Dawsonville but bring my vehicle here for service, the dealer 10 min from home is not good for service.

Bad experience with buying a used car and the car needing an oil change within the upcoming weeks. Sales rep (Bill) told me he would pick the car up and never called. When I called 2 weeks later he told me it was no big deal they will do the oil change. It is a big deal when you are working, a student, and live over an hour away. Asst Manager told me he would be willing to reimburse me after I take it to a dealership closer to me. Poor service and not the best way to correct the wrong on your end. Very dissatisfied when you could spend over 35,000 anywhere. Very dissatisfied!

Always a great experience at John Megel Chevrolet. We bought our Tahoe new in 2017 and they have done every single service on it. On time, fast, honest, and professional. Highly recommend for purchase and service.

Normally I do not spend my time writing bad reviews of any places. However, I came from NC to GA in order to purchase a Lexus IS from John Megel Chevrolet. It was the year and model that I wanted so I went out of the way to go get it. Prior to heading down I made sure with Casey all of the details for the car and had him inspect the car for me and which he told me all was very clean. When I had arrived the rims all had some serious rash on them. In asking if there was anything we can do about the rims, the simple answer was no, even though I had just traveled 5 hours after initially being told there were no major cosmetic issues. Upon some research and a test drive, I still decided to purchase the car after coming that far. They initially said they were going to wash and get the car spotless for me to take off the lot. When I got in the car after purchasing, there was clearly dirt in the car near the sunroof that looked like dry mud. Further more, I go about two miles off of the lot and the breaks are screaming. The break pads are completely shot on this car. It is disappointing that a place that values itself on a family owned and customer first would misrepresent the car as having no issues when all the rims were beat up, the car wasnt completely cleaned, and then now I need to replace the break pads on the car. If I had to do it again, these guys wouldnt get my business.

Family owned and operated, this dealership is amazing. They are known for their huge selection of pickups, great deals, knowledgeable sales crew and excellent service department. Just made my 3rd purchase from them and will continue for years to come. Thank you John Megel!

Casey in sells is the best. If they don't have what your looking for, he will find it. Just tell him what you want, and a price. It might take sometime but he will find it.

Sometimes a trip to the dealership can be a headache, but each time we get service at John Megel, we are welcomed immediately, taken care of quickly, and on our way. Great overall Team here!

Took our Son's car in because it had a recall and they didn't fix and replace the main part that needed to be changed. On the other hand the gentleman that was helping us was very nice.

Terrible service department. Ruined headliner in my new car not only once but twice. Did not rotate tires as requested but stated that service was completed. We will never buy a car from John Megal again. We are in the market for a new truck but we not be doing business with John Megal.

Daughter bought her car here, so there's that. Haggle, get a deal and leave. It's nice inside, it's got a hunting lodge feel (dead animals everywhere) and it's comfortable.

Experience was excellent had my Cadillac serviced there Casey was up front about pricing no surprises and reasonable...I would recommend megal Chevrolet for servicing your car and I do not take recommending someone lightly
