Express Oil and Tire Engineers has serviced my family vehicles for the past seven years and going strong! All the Hoover, AL stores have all serviced my vehicles from oil changes, replaced brakes and rotors, shocks and struts, new tires with alignment and balance. Many excellent services have been performed with zero issues. The past two years I have sold two vehicles with 225,000 plus miles and there is a reason those vehicles sold well and are going strong. Thank you Express Oil and Tire Engineers for taking care of my family safety on the road!!!

I love these guys. They take such good care of me. I dropped on Thursday because my oil change light was on and in their process of checking the rest of the systems, noted my brake fluid was low and offered to check if I had time. Costco told me my brake pads would need to be replaced soon a couple of months earlier, so it came as no surprise that I needed them. They said they could get me right in and that it would take no more than an hour and a half and they had me out of there right on time.

Always have fast and friendly service, but today Mike in Dawsonville was fantastic, personal and professional. We shared a few familiar military stories and the crew got me in and out in no time. I myself would highly recommend this company because of the professional and precise service I have experienced.

Ryan is the service manager at this location, he s a gem. Car/truck issues are extremely frustrating and he knew how overwhelmed I was with the situation. Even though my truck needed quite a few days and attempts to fix, he stayed persistent and was extremely patient with me. He worked with me on price and gave me a great deal, truly thankful to have found this place and Ryan. I will be coming here in the future with any car maintenance or problems in the future.Side note: He is a veteran and puts in a little extra work to take good care of veterans and first responders. Highly recommend.

On the road ... car shuttering. Pulled in to Express and talked to Ryan. Went to lunch while Express did Diagnostics. Issue was spark plugs and wires. Once parts were delivered, quickly fixed and on the road. I am not from Dawsonville, but I would recommend Ryan, Express & Co. to anyone based on my experience.Thanks!Claude Bass

My experience started out a little shaky, But my technician Le mar did so great and got my truck operating properly! The manager Ryan was great too. He made sure everything possible could be done to make sure it went well. These two for sure represented the company at a top notch level. My family will be using them for times to come. Took my VW Jetta to this oil change shop. Recommended service intervals on a 2023 VW Jetta are 10k miles. This place only warrantied and set my trip computer for 3100 miles! So now whenever I turn off my car, I m still getting an oil change soon warranty. What car with synthetic oil needs to be changed every 3100 miles?!This is an obvious cash grab from people who don t know better and honestly I can t believe that they would recommend a 3100 mile interval. This actually makes express tire and oil $185 more expensive than the dealership service because of the 1/3 time frame.

I have been a customer of Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers for Four years and my experience has always been positive. The staff are efficient, polite, and go beyond for great service. The manager, Marshall McDowell is extremely knowledgeable about my vehicles and explains the process of what is being done to my vehicles. His staff of Ryan, the shop foreman, Chase and Josh keep me coming back with their attention to detail and customer service. I highly recommend Express Oil Change for all your automotive needs.

Made an appointment for wheel alignment on Saturday at 15:00. Arrived only to be told that it was "impossible to do an alignment today, because they have a white pickup that has been sitting on the ramp for two days".I had just replaced the tie-rods on my vehicle, and only did so because I had the appointment for wheel alignment. Explained to the manager on duty, and was told I should wait and they will do a toe-adjustment only. Waited in the parking lot for 1 hour and 40min whilst I watched them adjust, test drive, and readjust a Chevrolet Silverado's wheel alignment 4 times.Finally was told that they close in 20min and won't be done with the Silverado before.Issue no1 - why have a system to make appointments if it is not honored?Issue no2 - who has to align a vehicle 4 times? Obviously the tech has no idea what he is doing.I WOULDN'T ADVISE MY WORST ENEMY TO COME TO THIS SHOP FOR ALIGNMENT."Tire Engineers" - I think not. No Engineer worth his salt has to do the same job 4 times.

Express Oil in Dawsonville is a top notch operation. Quick in and out for oil changes and filter replacements! Always on top of manufacturer recommended service intervals and reccomendations. Very pleased with the service we get from the operation of this location.

ATTENTION JAKE: The guys in the Dawsonville, GA location are exceptional! You've got to recognize them somehow and praise them with positive feedback. I've been numerous times for basic service (oil, tire rotation, balance, etc.), but when my Honda Odyssey needed brakes, timing belt etc. they REALLY stepped it up. Ryan in the front office never stops working hard and always has incredible customer service - he's super professional with everyone! Cody and Josh have been working consistently to solve the issues with my van with great communication and Marshall drove with me twice to ensure the techs had all the information needed to get the work done successfully. This kind of teamwork and overall customer care simply doesn't happen very often or anymore at all. Please Jake, do something sweet for these guys! Christmas bonus? Pay raise? Spa day? Trip to Hawaii? Great leadership happens from the top down, so great job Jake! You've got a great group of guys in Dawsonville, GA!

I ve been going to them for the last year with mine & my husband s vehicles, I ve never had a bad experience even when my oil was leaking they were kind and made their recommendations but didn t push. I just bought a new to me car and wanted to change the oil so I took it there and as always everyone was so kind & patient. Especially Mike who I had today, I do not know this car yet and he was awesome. He seemed to really take extra care knowing it was a family car and that I lacked knowledge in this field. I love that they recommend but never force, super efficient, & are nice every time. Will definitely continue trusting them with our cars.Service: Oil change

Andrew was incredibly rude!!!!! I dropped off car for oil change and they called me few minutes later to tell me they did not have oil blend but would put full synthetic in for same price. They never expressed any concerns other than different oil they were using and I picked up car drive home next morning I had huge oil spot in driveway which was never any spots in driveway, so I drove back to express oil and Andrew addressed the problem with him horrible attitude and told me he was having a hard time keeping his cools with me now I never raised my voice and even had my mechanic on phone to listen to why this was a problem 1 day after getting service so I would understand he asked me to leave his bay after telling me to sign paperwork which I would not sign . I would like to know how to resolve this matter .. and trying to figure out how to post pic of stain

You guys left my drain plug loose car dripping oil only found out cause the Texas shop I went to was honest you were the only ones that had serviced my car since new... be glad it didn't blow up you would of paid for a brand new motor my lawyer would made sure of that... to top it off you did the same thing to my wife's brand new blazer... hire some people that actually know what they are doing its not hard to change oil... also charging 150$ for a cabin air filter when the part costs 30$... scammers from the news is what you are I will be telling everyone I know in Georgia to never do business with you guys I hope you go out of business...

Highly recommend the Dawsonville location! Ryan and Dustin were great at communicating and keeping me updated on my car while they were working on it. They did have to keep it longer than originally planned. With that being said they honored the original price on labor services and it was just overall a good experience with Express. Hope to be back just for in oil change! haha.Service: Auto A/C replacement

This place is ridiculous for repairs at $150/hr when my uncle's shop that has ase certified master mechanics is only charging $65/hr talk about highway robbery then they try to convince women they need things fixed that's not even wrong with the vehicle cause they believe women don't know nothing about cars and will just let them fix whatever they say it needs avoid this place there are better mechanics out there that are honest and do better work for less

A spur of the moment decision I decided to get an oil change. I Googled the nearest location for I was in Dawsonville for an appointment. I was able to pull in right away. Mike was my technician, he was very professional and patient (as this is not my usual task) while I texted my husband for the needs required for our vehicle. I asked a few questions out of the scope of oil changes and Mike was kind enough to listen offer advise on another issue I had with my vehicle. I highly recommend this location and Mike!!

Just moved into town 3 days prior to the visit and needed new breaks and rotors. Express Oil is very fortunate to have Ryan as a leader at this location. He made my experience very easy and stress free. They will definitely get my business going forward. Customer service is dying in all aspects of business but Ryan excelled in this and I told everyone at my job to give them their business as well.Service: Brakes

was on our way to jiffy lube for oil change when we saw this business. we decided to pull in and give it a go. full synthetic and a sytems check was under 90 dollars. we blown away as jiffy lube is more expensive especially with the synthetic oil and thir service was absolutely incredibly professional. if youre in Dahlonega and need an oil change this is one of the quickest places to travel to that we have found. would highly recommend this place
