Highly recommend them. Had to have a transmission rebuild in my Toyota Van. Very courteous. Kept me updated as they went thru process (answered all my crazy questions very patiently), stayed within quoted price and had vehicle back to me in one week. Even want to recheck their work in a couple of weeks after I've driven it. To me that is due diligence.

My 2004 F150 has not ran this good since it was new. I d recommend them to anyone. Job was done in a timely manner and the job was done right. Excellent warranty on the transmission also.

so i called everywhere to get my transmission on my q50 rebuilt . i had no feeling of comfort with anyone i spoke to . Then i called Chris Hicks at Trans formers. This was probable the best decision i made all year . it was a bit pricey BUT the work is excellent , the service and people are sooo nice and professional AND my transmission came with a 3 yr warranty ! And honestly i think my car drives better now than the day i bought it ! Chris was absolutely amazing he was extremely helpful towards me and boyfriend. He was kind enough to give us a ride to a hotel for the night while letting us keep the truck there for a few days. Great pricing and very willing to work with customers in what is best for them. Couldn t thank him enough for everything he s done for us. Thank you Chris!

Chris was absolutely the best! We had an appointment at 4 for him to look at our AC. He said he could look at it and tell us what was wrong with it but he was pretty sure by what we were telling him, that it was the blower motor needing replaced. He said with them closing at 5, he wouldn t have time to get to it but would possibly get to it the next day. I asked him if I could just bring it back another day, being that it was my only mode of transportation. He told me to hang on just a minute and then came back in and asked me if could hang out for about an hour and he would just go ahead and pull it in and get it done for me. I can t thank him enough for getting me some cold air on a day with a heat index of 103. Super nice guy and very professional. Because of him, I will use them again and refer others.

Took in my 2005 Ford Expedition 4x4 with the transmission slipping and no overdrive. They were very busy but had my transmission rebuilt in about 5 days or so. So far so good with the repair. Came with a 3 year warranty so I feel I received a fair price. Chris was very knowledgeable and upfront about everything. Five Stars.

well i called chris and told him i had a ford f150 pick up truck and that i wanted the transmission filter and fluid changed. he said bring it in and that they had worked on alot of them. he calls me into the shop and tells me they do not have the filter, which is why i went there in the first place. he did not tell me that until i asked him where the new one was. i just thought that if i took my truck to a transmission shop that they would know what they are doing? he told me that i had an rare filter ? i had a standard filter?Service: Transmission

Used this place several times after they opened good service with a good price, call the other day for a quote to service a transmission and the guy said 300.00 called the dealership and they quoted me 199.00 so to the dealership i will go, thier prices at Transformer has gotten out of line in my opinion probably won't ever grace their doors again!!!!

Had my vehicle for 18 months.Every time I called, they were short on help, and they would let me know...Never a word got back in town for a visit and checked on my jeep it had been towed to impound. The cost of their mistake was more than I was able to spend.I asked them to take action and get my jeep back, and they declined just like they declined their option to call me before towing.They had similar problems when my jeep was there the first time.Dalton shop owns and runs this store very disappointed in the owners decision to basically steal a customers vehicle without at least some notice.

I brought in my Jeep Grand Cherokee to have some engine work done. My friend from out of state had given me a diagnoses of the engine issues as best he could from across the country. Trans-Formers confirmed that what my friend had said was the exact problem. They gave me a quote which I ran by my friend and he confirmed it was a fair price for parts and labor. They were super quick with the work and I'm very satisfied with my experience there. Definitely recommend!Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance

We were on our way back to Michigan from Florida on a Friday night and our transmission went out. We pulled into a hotel and started searching on our phones to find a place to look at our suv. We found Trans-Formers Transmission an exit up from us so I went there Saturday morning at 8:00. Chis was very understanding and caring and did everything to get us back on the road Saturday. He took me back to the hotel so I could be with my family and picked me up when it was finished, had four guys working on my suv, there was a part they needed that was at a dealership in Chattanooga and he had one of his workers go and get it. They all stayed after closing to make sure the transmission was done and we could get home. If we lived in the area, Trans-Formers would have all my business on my cars. The building was very nice and clean and all techs were very professional. Unbelievable southern hospitality!Service: Transmission

I have been doing business with them for years now..I have used them on my personal cars and use them for our fleet trucks. They are the most honest,reliable place that I've ever used. One time specific I had a transmission rebuilt on a work truck. The new torque converter failed. The owner Charles drove a 3.5 hour round trip and picked my crew and myself up and drove me home. He towed my trailer home. He had my truck put on a wrecker and repaired quickly. For those on here that complain that they don't stand behind their work, I call bull. Stop being a "Karen" and give them an honest chance to make things right. When you do,you'll find out that you won't find a better bunch of people in town.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Brakes, Oil change

okay so i m definitely somebody with a budget. i got a car from easyauto, used. there were issues with it regarding leaks. i took it to this place and they got my car back to me in a quicker time than others shops i ve been to in the past. but it still took like 2 days i believe, so chris actually gave me a ride home ( i only lived a mile or so down the road). incredible customer service!! months later, i got hit by something on the interstate. my car seemed fine other than a dent but when i drove it more, something was clearly wrong. i was told by my dealership to take it to elite auto repair. DO NOT GO THERE BTW. $400 wasted. i took it back to this place. it s going to cost a bit to fix it, but they will work with you!! they stay in communication with everything they re doing and will let you know if they see something more. i see the overpriced reviews but honestly i d pay more to have my vehicle working properly than these other shops that are cheaper but you have to go back to 3 or 4 times. being trustworthy is the most important things with shops. i ve had many friend have good experiences here as well.

This place is ripoff . I had to have a second one put in? Same dam near had to fight the owners son. To see when I can get my truck back ? Iv spent $5.460.00 for my trans. An it did not last 2weeks? It went out Friday before Christmas an iv had to cancel all my trips? An now they want to an screw me on this? I will never recomemd any one to this place. Now you watch? My truck will be sabotage after this?

They quote u one price then when u bring it in when u had an appointment for. 3 days later they will call with a price and it will be triple what they told u and they added all these things that u didn't need not knowing u know a lot about cars!! These people are scam artists!! They advantage of woman!! Do not!!!! Bring your vehicle here. Oh and they charge u 180 for a diagnostic fee before u can have your vehicle back. even thought u just brought it in to have specific things done and didn't need a diagnostic test done

The Transformers team went above and beyond to take care of my baby( 2005 Jeep Wrangler)! From a female perspective, being able to trust the work was necessary and done right speaks volumes. I got to say for my first transmission repair these guys are awesome, probably the best customer service around. They get the job done make sure it s done right until it s good to give back to the customer. They also worked an hour over just to make sure I get my vehicle back cause I needed it. I would recommend these guys to everybody I know. It was very affordable price for a transmission, not many places you go you will get customer service AND the quality of work but you get it all at Trans-Formers.

These guys were super nice, upfront, and honest about what my car needed to be fixed. We ended up not fixing the car yet (needs a new computer ), but will definitely keep these guys in mind for any future repairs!

Chris got my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 back on the road in 1/3 the time all other shops said it would take. He stocked all the parts for a full transmission rebuild and his staff was willing to work late to get it done. Excellent experience.

This place is the most honest repair shop I have been to. We were driving down from Nashville and the transmission in my car went out. They talked through out options, allowed us to talk through our options in their amazing waiting room, and is going to allow us to leave our car while AAA comes to get it. I have NEVER been to a place that was so honest and supportive of a decision that is going to make them $0. If we lived closer, they would be our go to. Amazing Christian business. Went from almost in tears to confident with a plan. Thank you Trans-formers tranamission!!!

They will lie to you and call you a liar. I was quoted over the phone for a price for my transmission replacement. Once the work was done, I came to pick up and pay and they had over double the quoted price for final payment. They refused to go back and double check and just called me a liar instead. Don t go here. You will get scammed.Service: Transmission

Fantastic shop! Rick and crew are great to work with. I am so glad I found this shop. Rick worked with me to have my 2002 Honda Accord transmission rebuild, and I was very pleased with the results. I just want to say this shop has always taken care of me, very friendly, and trustworthy. From the top to all the techs. Have always done their best to get me in and out in a cery reasonable time frame. I choose this shop for all my automotive needs. Have always done their absolute best to give me the best deal as they are able too. I highly recommend them to all the people I come in contact with. I also know that when they do my work it's done and done correctly and they will let you know upfront if it's worth doing or not and have always been very honest with me. So if you are questioning if you should use them I say yes you should.

Where should I start... I first approached the guys at Trans-former transmissions at about midnight during the week through Facebook. To my surprise, I received an immediate response. I had been looking for someone to replace a differential on my Trailblazer, and it seemed like nobody could do it anytime soon, and the rates were outrageous. I was seeing numbers north of 700 for the repair, and about a week turnaround time. When I asked the guys how quickly they could get my vehicle in, I was told to be there first thing in the morning so they could take a look. Within minutes of arriving, they jumped on the job and had a quote in minutes. $500 and same day turnaround. They were already $200 less than the cheapest quote I had received and certainly much quicker. They got to work on it, and we ran into an issue. There were a series of problems with my vehicle which is what caused the front differential to give out. Parts needed for the repair were now going to be over $800 new, but that was completely out of their control. What they did next completely blew me away. They had me come in and sit down, and we discussed options to get me back on the road for less than that. They came up with a solution and had parts in the following morning. Now here I was staring at the original $500 quote plus the new $800 parts needed, way more than I could do at the time. However, the guys found a solution for me that ended up costing me just $400, yes, $100 less than my original quote. They understood my urgent need for the vehicle and had it ready within hours. So not only did they finish it in lightning speed, but they saved me $900!!!! I will always be bringing my business to the guys. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done. It is amazing to see shops that still care about their customers, and do a quality job for a reasonable right. Good job guys, you have earned a customer for life.

I took my vehicle to Trans Formers for the first time ever. These guys looked my vehicle over with a fine tooth comb.They did a service with tire rotation for a very fair price. I knew what things my vehicle needs and they confirmed it to me without me telling them. This made me feel good because they were being honest with me and not just trying to get me to spend money. Awesome group of guys to work on your vehicle.

First Rick is not a ASE certified.... I have known Rick since he was a service hand at Adventure. Some of his guys are ASE. Which means they have more knowledge than he does. So if you need sound mechanical advice speak to one of them. Second Rick has to pay for the new shop. And big shops have big overhead !!!! that means everyone who uses their services must understand this. He must meet a certain quota financially per bay. If you are thinking about or having your transmission rebuilt with them. Take heed and listen if anyone there talks to you about a Lifetime Warranty .... if it s not in the pamphlet thats is provided ask them to write it down. when you bring it back !!! it s not a lifetime warranty. anymore. You can get the same rebuild transmission at other shop for half the cost and same Warranty. (DO YOUR RESEARCH) I did not. After reading the reviews you decide how many were Friends , Employees, Family, and how many were customers. Watch out for the old IT S UNDER WARRANTY AS LONG AS YOU OWN THE CAR. THANKS ,GOD BLESS.
