Mark Sexton at Sexton automotive, provided rapid and outstanding service!! I am new to Dalton and as a result of the service that I received on my Mercedes-Benz CLS 550, I am now a permanent customer!! Based upon this experience, I can confidently recommend Sexton automotive.

Mark was able to take my car in quickly and make the necessary repairs (which was a BIG job) to get it running again. I m so thankful for him and his crew and for having a trustworthy place to take my car. Highly recommend Sexton s Automotive.

Worked with Michael Sexton.... communication was great....price was fair.... He worked with me over a situation....picked up car....problem was fixed .... Definitely a great place to do business with in Dalton.....will be a repeating customer for sure..... Way to go Sexton's

Update to original review. - 3 years later and still the best place in town to have work done on our families vehicles. Only place that touches our vehicles, honest, professional and fair. If you are looking for someone to work on your vehicle, this is the place.

Definitely 5 Stars for Sextons Automotive. I highly recommend this shop for all your vehicle repair needs, tires, oil changes. Reasonable prices and fast, friendly service.I ve taken 2 of our vehicles here for repairs. My daughters Jeep needed the oil cooler replaced. I talked to Mark (#SOTY) on a Friday. He scheduled repairs for Monday and I picked the vehicle up on Tuesday. No problems at all.My wifes expedition had a rough idle and a front end issue. Mark and his team took care of it. Had it ready the next day.Will definitely be using Sexton s Automotive in the future.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Engine repair, Oil change

We were traveling to Atlanta from Knoxville for a girls wrestling tournament. We ended up running over a truck tire. My car started running really rough, so we pulled off at the first exit and hoped an auto repair center would be on that exit. Sure enough Sextons was right off the exit. We pulled in and I asked for them to just take a look. They did! Added some oils, looked under the car, and made us feel so much better. We were on our way in no time at all. My girl won first and we made it because of Sexton s.

We have a Chevy Tahoe from Mtn View Chevy with a prepaid maintenance plan. Chevy's service and attention to detail are woefully lacking. We dont use them any more even though we have the prepaid plan, its not worth the headache. We use Mark because we know, like, and trust him. He shoots you straight and treats you right. It's out of the way for us but it's worth it. We recommend him to anyone that needs quality car service.**UPDATE 2023: Mark Sexton continues to be be a huge assistance to us. Still a straight shooter, responsive communication, and recently just saved me from a potentially bad used vehicle purchase. Still highly recommended.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, A/C installation & repair

Poor communication! Did not tell us what was wrong with our vehicle and fixed it without our approval; then charged us an extravagant amount of money. They also did not finish replacing the trim to the vehicle after the repair. Go somewhere else if you have a choice!*Edited to say: My husband was on our service records. We called and they did nothing to rectify the situation-just told us they will make a talk to the service people and were sorry. After reading more reviews it seems like they are going downhill with their service! Found another piece of trim they did not reattach correctly and found our engine cover askew and both bolts missing.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Mark Sexton and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. His experience on automobiles is unmatched in this area and many of my friends have found his pricing to be very fair and trustworthy. A little shady. I dropped my diesel car off clearly stating it was diesel. I was told a basic oil and filter would be 90$. I got a ride to work since he said it would be after lunch before they got to me. I got a call 30 minutes later from a manager saying a diesel oil change would be 160$. I asked why since it was a full synthetic oil change already and the filter doesn t cost more. He said labor cost but the labor is the exact same. Drain oil, change filter, fill oil. I was headed out of town when I got off so I was stuck. After 80,000 miles I have never had the low oil light come on. There has been no leak in my driveway. So not only did I get a bait and switch on the price I also got less oil last week.

We broke down south of Dalton on I-75, and had our minivan towed here after getting a recommendation from a former Sexton's employee we ran into. They didn't know us from Adam, knew we were from out of town and would not be repeat business, and yet we were treated honestly and fairly. When they told us what was wrong, we did some web research and verified that they were correct and that the price was fair. They also were patient in waiting till we could come up and get it a week later, even though they were limited on storage space. We were very pleased with our repair, and do highly recommend them based on great service, fairness and integrity. If I lived here, this is where I would have my cars repaired!

Took my 328i BMW there for a crankshaft sensor install & relearn. Its hard to find great mechanics but these guys are on point. They took care of my car and resolved my issue. I would highly recommend everyone who has a BMW or other foreign made car to trust these guys. Great people and great service. Thank you!

The owner of this facility has advised and helped me in many situations as well as watching him lead by example. I'm very impressed with the client response from his customers as well as repeat customers and wish there were more and more businesses like this that people could not only just rely on but also trust wholeheartedly. I highly recommend this business to anyone for the service quality and professionalism that you're looking for.

They gave me a fair price on some really good tires...service was fast and the staff was very nice! I went 5 miles down the road for my son 2 months ago and spent about $350.00 More PLUS his car is STILL out of line...I am just going to have him run by Sexton's...I did just to get air or a plug and was treated fair and they were honest.

These professional mechanics do all the work on my Honda and Lexus. They know what they're doing and have saved me a lot of money. Great location right off the interstate and can help tow your car to the shop if needed.

Sextons automotive is my go to shop for tires, air, oil change and more. They always do an awesome job, and have great prices. They even fixed my air when my dealership never did. Highly recommend!

I've had a few things done here on my Smart car. Other places hestitate before agreeing to work on it, being a bit exotic, but this place always accepted and happily worked on my little car. Honest!!!! unlike many of the dealership service departments, Sextons Chevron is honest. Their prices are fair, the work is quality, the staff is friendly. Not only are these guys great mechanics they go above and beyond for customers. Repairs done quickly and always priced well. I would recommend anyone use them from a flat tire to major repair work they should be your go to.
