Rebuilt my husbands transmission almost all the gears went out just a few weeks of getting it back. Had a warranty so took it back, and couple days later they say we can pick it up and they say we owe them $85? For gaskets, new fluid, etc. Didnt tell us before hand at all so wasn t prepared for that extra charge. Didn t get the job done right the first time shouldn t have to pay you again to fix y all s mistakes. And there s an exhaust leak now. Save your money or pay the little bit more extra and go somewhere more reliable and better customer service!!!!

My daughters transmission went out. I called several local transmission places that quoted outrageous prices. La transmission gave me a quote in writing and fixed her transmission. Their price was significantly lower than anywhere else and it was fixed within a week. I highly recommend them to anyone. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.Service: Transmission

Dropped my truck off on Monday at closing time for a full transmission rebuild was ready Thursday morning could not believe it. Waited for me after they closed. If I could give more than five stars I would.

I went in to get my transmission serviced. Employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. Great customer service and prices were reasonable. The job got done quicker than I thought. Will definitely do business again. Thank you LA TRANSMISSION.

You want to get ripped off? Just come on down to see these guys. Very talented at taking your money, but fixing isn't one of them. I payed them $1325.00 to rebuild my transmission, and gave me one year of warranty or 12000 miles and its been 8 months-the transmission failed on me! The reverse went out. I took it back to them, obviously so they can fix it, but they said the warranty is over. Come on guys!! Its only been 8 months! Do yourself a favor, and don't use this company.

I was stranded! My transmission was leaking bad & we were traveling from Kentucky to just South if Atlanta! We could go no further and it was Wednesday afternoon, Thanksgiving Day was the next day!!! They tried to get us on the road and did not have the parts needed & not enough time to get them from Atlanta. We told them we would take used parts if they could get some that were good. So they did! Stayed late, well past closing to get us done and on the road!!! They are a Family run business, not some chain store, everyone was very polite & accommodating, got the whole family chairs & put cartoons on TV for my son. Could not have asked for better treatment ang the restroom was clean enough. They did not charge an arm and a leg. We are so thankful and highly recommend this shop to anyone needing transmission work!!!!!The KY Travelers

My name is Derrick, and I wanted to say that LA Transmission is the best car repair shop in Dalton. Anytime that my friends, family, or myself have had any automobile issues, these guys have been there to take care of it quickly and effieciently. I've worked on my own cars here and there and I have been to other repair shops. La Transmission is the best out of all of them because they tell you exactly what's wrong with your vehicle and give you the best advice on what to do. They don't try to over charge you for parts and they don't try to change parts that don't need to be changed. THESE GUYS CARE ABOUT WHAT THEY DO AND YOU CAN TELL WHEN YOU TALK TO THEM. I recommend LA Transmission for your car repairs.

I have had two transmissions rebuilt at this repair shop. One on a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado (over 3 years ) and one on a 2010 Chevy Malibu (over a year) and I haven t had any issues with them. These people know what their doing and I highly recommend them for your transmission needs

Used to take my car to ed Kirby just cus it was under warranty, but they never fixed none of the problems I was having. I took it to these guys and they fixed my car in no time. Never did I have issues after that. They were quick, and explained everything that my car had in a way that I understood.

It s very hard to find good automotive service. These guys done what they said for the amount they said. Seen and repaired items along the way . Called before doing any extra work. I took my 07 Suburban to get my transmission rebuilt Great customer service and awesome people they explained in detail what was wrong with my transmission and explained what parts they were going to use to rebuild it.In my opinion this is the best transmission repair shop I have ever been to I greatly recommendService: Transmission repair

They did not do a full transmission service. All they did was change the gasket and put more fluid in it and charge me 145 for that when i could do that at the house for 30 dollars. They got an attitude when asked what all was done to it. Tgey didnt clean the vavle body, check the bands or change the filter. Which is suppose to be all included in a full transmission service.

Had my 96 Tahoe transmission "rebuilt". Whatever band-aid they put on it lasted just over 12,000 miles, that was $1,400. I let a family member use the vehicle to take a trip, not knowing what was going on, from the transmission slipping so badly going up a mountain it spun both main and rod bearings from over revving the engine, (only 144,000) on a Chevrolet 350. That resulted in not only a transmission, but also a replacement engine, both I got from a salvage yard for almost the same price as the original "rebuild". The inside of the transmission pan looked like charcoal briquette pieces from such a catastrophic failure, fluid black,and burnt. Would definitely not ever do business with them again or recommend them.

Had my car for two weeks, back in 2013. Charged a price, BUT NEVER fixed what was wrong. Took car to sears and was taken care of by someone there. NOT at all professional. DON'T GO THERE!!!!

These are liars and theives too my truck to them to have transmission rebuilt. They kept it for one week and when I got it back it went out in three days. Refused to give me an itemized bill where they ordered my parts. As far as I can tell they are just out to rip people off.

They promised me my transmission would be rebuilt in 3 days it has been over a month and they still haven't worked on it. Do not go here these guys are good at taking your money but they are not so good at fixing vehicles. They are liars and they will rip you off. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Never communicate with you on how long it will take or any updates. 2ND time it's been back after spent over 1000$ on a "rebuild" . Takes weeks for them to even look at the vehicle. Never answer calls or messages. Not worth the money.

Horrible rebuild job. Didnt shift right. Didn t connect vacuum hose. Was missing a bracket. Paid 1200 for garbage. Took my truck to someone else to have it done the white way. Save your self money and a headache. Go somewhere else
