My family and I were driving through Dalton to Tennessee when my car started shaking. We hurried over to Harris Service Center and Alex immediately came to help. He not only was extremely knowledgeable but so helpful and polite! Thank you Alex for getting my family safely back on the road in a timely manner!

Thanks a million!!! We were on our way to Florida when our van started misfiring. Thankfully our hotel was 10 min from their shop. They got us in at 7:15am on a Saturday and had the van fixed and ready to go by 9:30am. Everyone was so kind and professional there. If I lived in the area, I would have all my cars serviced by Harris Service Center.

I was in need of a rental truck and their online experience was so easy I had 90% already done, all I had to do was go in and pick up my truck without hassle. I ve also gotten work done there on cars in the past and they ve always treated me well, gave good prices and good work.

On my first visit I noticed an old Ford show car being serviced. That says a lot because not just any mechanic is trusted with a restored classic.This was my second visit and although they were busy, the service and personal attention was notable.

Went here to have my brakes serviced and From the start I will say that I felt as though I needed to be here. The staff was very friendly and helpful and got me through everything that I needed and some. What I mean by that is I had them do a tire rotation as well and they quickly notified me that my brake sensors are long. The back side of my car on the rear tires had been removed. The entire time I had been watching them as they were fixing my car and I know that they hadn't tampered with my brakes. I felt the honesty and the love from this service center and I would highly recommend them to anyone. It's not every day that you can go somewhere and get your car serviced and feel as though people are treating you right and fairly and not just out trying to make a nickel off of you. My car is basically a foreign car, a mini cooper and there's not a lot of places here in Dalton that can fix them. With that being said I did try one of the other places but felt as though I was being cheated out of money. Not only that the other place also for some reason every time I will go there to get something fixed on my car. They would have to keep my car 2 days and I didn't understand that. Especially for a transmission fluid change. You shouldn't have to keep someone's car for 2 days to do that. That other place being sextons automotive. I highly recommend Harris service center and I hope you guys really give these people a chance. I think you will be pleased 100% with the work they do. I don't know anybody at this shop nor do I work there. This is a 100% genuine review.

Took me in immediately without appt. So nice but professional. Checked my tire and patched it up. Very reasonable. Seemed concerned where as that's not heard of very often.

Family of 7 traveling home from vacation and vehicle started having major issues. Did a quick Google search and found Harris Service Center. So thankful we did. Even at the end of the day, on a Friday, 2 days before Christmas, they were willing to help us even though they were ready to go home for the Christmas wknd. Gracious, respectful, knowledgeable ... highly recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The most honest people in town. We have used Gary at Harris Service Center for many years. He services our personal vehicles and fleet vehicles for our small business. We highly recommend him. Our staff even uses them and we ran into one there this morning while our vans were being serviced. Got a flat tire while traveling to South Carolina and luckily found Harris Service Center. We appreciate the shop being open so early, or else we wouldn t have made it in time for our cruise. He was fast and is a very kind man. We would recommend this place every time!Service: TiresService: Tires

I rented a uhaul from Harris service center. They got me in and out quickly, but the reason I've given them 5 stars is that I locked my wallet in the uhaul when I dropped it off after they had closed. I messaged them and someone was there within 5 minutes to unlock the vehicle and get my wallet back to me. AND he did it with a smile. I appreciate the extra mile, and will use them again.Thanks y'all!

Gary is the man they have some of the cheapest prices around Dalton. 65 for a diag fee is pretty good and great price for labor I was in an out in a little over an hour for a great price. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for all your automotive needs. I'll definitely be coming back here in the future. My family has been buying tires and getting repairs from harris service center since the 80s. Gary the owner is a great honest Christian man with a+ values. I deliver mail and my work truck is still running after 13 years and the only place I ve taken it is Harris. I tell Gary every time I see him how thankful I am that no matter how bad it breaks. Harris service center will fix it. Thanks so much Harris

I have only good to share about Harris service center. I called them from my hotel at 8 am on a Saturday. I thought for sure I would have to wait till Monday but they had me towed, diagnosed and fixed so I was back traveling home by 11 am. I had all 4 pads and rotors replaced. Their price was honest. Thank you.

Described what I was hearing, when I returned to pick up (after I called as they never called me back) they charged me $35 to say I had loose tire. Was informed they checked and didn't find Anything. You could hear and feel the same noise as I drove off but clearly I was not going to return as I had lost my trust in them.Took my car to firestone and they fixed it the first time. With just only describing the noise yet again. They actually drove it around and knew what to correct.Will never return nor recommend to anyone

Rented a U-Haul from them last minute over the phone. Everything was ready for me when I arrived. I accidentally left my entire wallet in the U-Haul and they had been holding on to it for me until I came back. Great customer service and friendly front of house staff. I will absolutely be back.

Mr. Harris and his crew are always so nice. Had a flat, got it towed by Frank Wrecker, and had had the tire replaced in less than 2 hours.

I rented a U-Haul trailer to go to Fairmont, WV. They set the return location for Morgantown, WV. A 30 minute drive past where I was going! He and I actually discussed this, that I was NOT going that far.He said he'd set it so I could drop off anywhere.When I contacted Customer Service, I was told that I could leave it in the town of my actual destination, but they would charge me a fee to move it.A fee that they could not quote. That I would just have to drop it off and wait and see what they charged my card???They also set my 4 day rental with a return due date of the day following the rental date. Just 18 hours later. That was actually correctable.I cannot foresee a situation that would prompt me to ever use this business or even U-Haul again.

We came in from out of town to possibly purchase a vehicle, and we brought the car to Harris to get an independent opinion. Rented uhaul to move 20 miles. He put in 50 miles 10 more then I drove. I had to keep the uhaul. Extra day because we still had stuff in it I called and told them ahead time I d need to keep it a extra day and was told it would only be $39.99 daily fee. So that put me returning the u haul on a Sunday before 10 am. Which I did but it wouldn t let me log into the app to set that I returned it. I got charged $232 to rent a uhaul 2 days and drive it 40 miles. I even call Harris service center they said one the charges would come back to me in 3-4 days it was just pending. I called uhaul filed a claim right after hanging up with Harris service center. They said the claim goes to Harris service center for them to decide. Called my bank filed a claim on the extra day $62 charge that I never had the uhaul. I even filled it up past what it was when I received the uhaul.Shady people and shady business. Go else where. I will never use Harris or uhaul again. $232 to move 20 miles I could have used my Jeep and trailer and did 50 loads of moving for that much.. don t believe what old Harris says he s skimming people and he knows it... not even worth 1 star!!!

Do Not Take Your Vehicle Here! I Took My Vehicle To Harris Service Center In Dalton, GA Over A Month Ago Due To An O2 Sensor. When I Dropped It Off It Was Running Fine And I Already Knew The O2 Sensor Needed Changing. I Didnt Know Whether Or Not My Warranty Covered The Sensors But I Took It To The Shop Provided By Silver Rock. It Took Them A Week Just To Run Their Own Diagnostics & Tell Me What I Already Knew. So They Were To Call Silver Rock To See If It Was Covered By My Warranty. I Called The 2nd Week To See If They Had Called And Still They Hadn't. By Week 3 I Called Again & They Told Me That They Did Yet Another Diagnostic and Now My Cylinoid Wasn't Firing. The Mechanics Proceeded To Tell Me That He Believed A Rat Had Gotten Under My Hood & Chewed The Wire Harness To The Fuel Injectors. I Then Asked If He Had Contacted My Warranty Company To See If Anything Was Covered. He Told Me That He Hadn't Contacted Them But Was Going To Do It That Day So We Could Get Everything Fix. Week 4 I Call AGAIN To See What The Heck Is Going On With My Car & I'm Informed That My Warranty Doesn't Cover The O2 Sensor Or The Wire Harness That Was Damaged Due To Their Negligence & Procrastination! I Asked If They Had Insurance Or If They Would Fix At Least The Wire Harness Seeing As Though It Was Damaged On Their Lot & I was Told They Cannot. If I Wanted The Car Fixed O2 Sensor & All That It Would Be $800! My Husband Called & They Told Him They Would Wave The Diagnostic Fees If He Would Just Come Pick The Car Up. We've Spent All Week Calling Everyone We Could Possibly Think Of To Have This Taken Care Of And Now Not Only Am I Out Of My Car. I Have To Pay Out Of Pocket For Damages Due To This "Service Center".
