I can't thank Automotive Specailists of Dalton for treating me like their own family when I was in quite the pickle on Friday, March 10, 2023. I was driving across country and my car broke down. I pulled off the highway in Dalton and ran a diagnostic but everything was closed so I got a hotel for the night and they suggested I try Automotive Specialists. God had a plan and found a Christian mechanic/family to help me in my time of need. They were able to replace the sensor that needed repaired at what I believe to be a family discount. It was my 40th birthday so they may have also given me a little birthday discount. I can't wait to see pictures of the new shop they are building! It great to see fathers and sons working together to build up their community.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Transmission repair

First took my nissan to nissan dealership.Said run a diagnostic on it. They came back with (shot code) bad transmission).No code lights had ever popped up before, but is now. Shooting a code now and running rougher.$8000.oo total to make it run correctly. They stated no other problems. Its a 2011 nissan, do the math.All along me thinking it was dirty filters and tune up,some hoses.Took to Dalton Automotive Specialty, they did a quick check, ran codes..Immediately pointed out and told me (all)my engine issues, $450 for the job.My car runs like new, smooth and happy. Never had a transmission problem.Go to who you can Trust Dalton Automotive Specialists. They could have told me wild goose story too, but they didnt. Dalton Automotive Specialists were honest and good priced. Did a professional job. Their name says it all. Thank you !P.S Bad Nissan dealership.

Mr. Eric at Automotive Specialists is a great down to earth guy. I needed my rear end rebuilt, he took it Monday, had it done by Wednesday and it works flawlessly. Fair pricing and good communication. Mr. Eric will take care of you and is very truthful. I would recommend anyone to this place. Great honest people, would never hesitate to do business here again any day of the week.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Eric was an angel in the middle of Dalton, GA. A life saver. You should come here if you want your car fixed by a professional, he knows exactly what he is doing. Super nice and friendly, helped us get back on the road in a matter of 2 hours after my transmission wires were nearly shot. This shop is where you want to do your business. By far the best mechanic team ever! They are efficient, professional, and they believe in doing things the right way. Very honest and willing to go above and beyond. They stand by their work. Quick and professional. Eric took care of my issue and had my a/c running cold again in no time. Reasonably priced as well, what more can you expect? Will definitely come back next time I have a problem I can't fix.

Mr Eric fully rebuilt the transmission on my 2001 ford ranger and redid the wiring for the lights. For a great price. Good communication and honest communication, Highly recommend!!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Came in a few weeks ago asking about an axle problem. I thought that my car's driverside ball joint was wearing off and asked for a diagnosis. Turns out it was just the fender that needed replacing, and it got done the same day. Very punctual and quick service
