Very bad customer service went to buy diff fluid and the employees didn t want to help they were standing laughing and more employees in the back outside just talking. They didn t want to sell the fluid. I went there 7/17/2023 at 4:20pm

I have visited a few times for minor items. The store is clean and well organized. The persons I worked with were polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The store also offers free installation for certain items. Nothing wrong whatsoever, but one star missing because one item I had bought here I found later for less at the local dealership of my truck.Update, 5/2023: Their prices tend to be above average, but their service is way above average. They have yet to disappoint me, even though I visit rather regularly. Today, Marcus went above and beyond to help me. Excellent service can not come for free, so their above average prices are to an extend justifiable. Therefore, up to full 5 stars (just).

God is good first off. I went into this store today because I needed a radiator hose. Now I don't know much about working on cars.These wonderful people not only took the time out of their day to help me, but they went to another store and got my part for me. Then they put it on for me. Now I am sure I could have done it myself by watching YouTube, but I know I wouldn't have done it as good as the man did it for me.All three people were amazing and kind! Thank you, thank you so very much!!

These guys are great! Not only will they install your battery, they will push start your car so you can get home and wait until the starter you ordered comes in. In just a few hours. Amazing!

Marcus, the manager, always greets me by name and knows the vehicles I drive. They have the best customer service. I sometimes will go out of my way to do business with the Thornton Avenue store because their customer service is so good.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to Michele S.!!!! I stopped by here to get replacement lights for my car, front low beams, front blinker lights, and taillights. While I was there, I decided I might as well replace windshield wiper blades, too.Michele was the rep who assisted me. She looked up, explained the features of, and fetched every single thing I needed. I decided to go ahead and try to do what needed to be done in the parking lot, and I'm sure glad I did because I needed tools that she was kind enough to let me borrow. Once I got to the taillights and was having a hard time (again, she'd already rescued me once for the blinker lights), I was so frustrated from the heat and difficulty of not knowing jack about what I was doing that I was almost in tears.While I was grunting and fussing at the bolts and whatnot, she swapped out the wiper blades for me. She did it quickly and with a gorgeous, friendly smile - despite the fact that it was 96� and absolutely miserable at 1:00 in the afternoon.She'd told me during chit chat as I was checking out that she's been with the company for ten years. I can definitely see why! Advance, you've got yourself a wonderful employee in Michele! She is most definitely what anxious, mechanically-uninclined customers need to see when they visit your stores. When it's only you and only one car you have to rely on, it feels so good to know we have people like Michele on our side.Please let her store and regional managers know how appreciative I am. Let the CEO know! Whatever she's being paid isn't as close to equal as the relief of her calm, friendly demeanor. So yeah, give this woman a raise and a week off with pay. Had gas line needed and sold by the foot, off roll, better than pre cut short length packages. And best part told what needed and no asking make model year. Lolo. Portable generator back to running.

Fast and friendly cashier. Had the parts I needed at the prices I expected to pay. You can order online and have it sent to the store or to your home. And get 10% off if you sign up for email alerts. I unsubscribed after I got the coupon but they may send random deals to your inbox. But the first is only good for online ordering. They have gote parts from another store and had delivered to my home store. Same day if it's early enough. That helps.

I stopped by just passing through the area. My car had done something weird. These guys were so nice and spent a good amount of time looking at my engine and figuring it out. I was able to buy a small part, which they put in for me, and was on my way.

Terrible place! The door says they open at 7am and the employees say they open at 7am, but I went in at 7:30am and it's locked and no one is there. I went back at lunch and the part I had ordered was not there. I was told the previous evening it was guaranteed to be there at 7am when they opened. Nope! This is the third time that this place has lied or mislead me. NEVER going back or using Advance again. They've wasted my time and money for the last time!

Went to buy a battery for a forklift, which I have done several times in the past. I was met by Steve, which apparently had a chip on his shoulder from the get go. Horrible attitude, and extremely poor customer service! After he asked for the "year of car", I told him it was for a forklift, he then sighed and told someone else to help me. I guess if the computer cant do his job for him, he moves on to the next customer. If you cant be nice, don't be in customer service!

Rude female worker insisted I couldn t park my truck in handicap spot . I have legal right to do so. Well I moved my truck straight to the next parts store down the road. Apparently it was interfering with her parking her vehicle. They lost a sale. And 2 customers for life.

Can t return stuff bc they can t put it as not sales le I accidentally got the wrong bolb for my Reverse Light and they said tht they can t even exchange it I know how retail work but Thts just unexpectable

Alternator died and i made it to the store had trouble changing it and every employee there went to bat for me. We had it changed in no time even with trouble

They will plug a charger up to the electronics in your car so that when they change the battery you don't lose all your settings. Brilliant!
