I've known Vic ever since I was about 8 years old. He came into my parents restaurant alot. Also one of the mechanics that works name David. I've also known since we were kid. David is a great mechanic and trustworthy person. It's always hard to find a great and honest auto shop. But Vic's is that kind of shop. They are there to take care of all your need in a timely manner and not try and sell you things you really don't need, in order for them to make more money. So many shop out there will take advantage of the average person who knows nothing about how automobiles actually work. So if you want to be treated honestly and fairly Vic's is the place to go to.

I feel as if i was scam knowingly and purposely. I explained that my vehicle would not crank, front end shakes, engine light is on and dash indicators or flashing all over dash. I was called and said everything was fixed and ready for pickup. And the charge was almost $600...driving the car home, its as if it wasn't even touched. I called back and they said they replaced the battery and I believe that was a lie.

I was referred to this mechanic and was not disappointed. First Kenneth is so detailed and explains every single step. He leaves you with an understanding and doesn t do anything without your permission. I ve been battling fixing my car for a year. The light kept coming back on and I can say there s been ZERO lights and it s been a couple weeks. Which has never happened before! I will certainly be back for my tires!Services: Auto exhaust system repair, Auto maintenance

Got my old beat up truck aligned and new tires mounted. I hadn't been here in years. I somehow didn't remember that I could get tires there too. Raymon went above and beyond to get the alignment handled. The tire guys were really careful with my new wheels. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Their tire pricing was great too

I came here to just ask about new tires for my car.. the nice lady at the desk gave me a quote and asked me to speak to the owner. They were 3 quotes and he took time to explain pros and cons.. I liked that.I came back two days later and had my tires changed. The price was the best.The location is very accomodative as you wait for your car.. I was able to do my work in a very neat little space at the back... (There is coffee!).. the work on the car was done fast and they also advised about an alignment..which they did for a competitive price.

I took my suv into this business Kennith said it would be a week . Ok I said no problem . The 2nd week they had it the 3 rd week they had it the 4th week they had it . 33 days later nothing was done to my suv . It was misdiagnosed from the receipt I had to ask for . The man Trent then was rude and proceeded to tell me they could repair my head gasket blown up motor on the next Monday . No Thank You . so he wrote I refused to let them service my suv. A half a tank of gas was burned out and there are new scratches on my drivers door . At no time did anyone ever call me to tell me anything. When I called them every several days the poor receptionist would say hold on - they haven t looked at it yet . Please do not take your automobile to this place in Dallas . Complete Automotive repaired my truck it was a water pump . Took a few days to diagnose and repair .

Loved the experience there quick and easy. Needed an alignment and got it done right away. Found out I needed tires, but couldn't afford it at the time, so he suggested I get used tires from another place which he directed me to. Such nice customer service!!!

Very professional personnel. I had low tire pressure signal and they checked all four tires adding the correct amount of psi to each tire and even informed me he was adding a little more to each to offset the change in the weather getting cooler causing the pressure to go down. All this was done as soon as I arrived in less than 10 minutes and free of charge.Great place to take your vehicle if this type of service is needed. The gentleman taking care of me was very pleasant and kind.Highly Recommend!!!

So i have been using vic williams for some years now and I am not the type of person to write a review for anything. I have been a mechanic for most of my life and am a fleet manager currently. So that being said i very seldom take anything to be worked on to any shop because i am capable of making most repairs myself and the bigger reason is i dont like to roll the dice on repairs when i dont know i can trust that its going to be diagnosed and repaired without costing me my peace of mind or hitting me in the wallet. So after that long spill any time someone asks me who i would recomend they take a vehicle to for maintanance or repairs the first thought and response is always vic williams. Im not saying they are cheap but they are FAIR. And most importantly you can by god trust them to not screw up your car, to find the actual problem and fix it, to be profesional and curtious. Examples of work they performed for me - diagnosed and repaired evap system to pass emissions. Replaced ball joints on a dodge 3500. Replaced condensor on honda odyssey to fix air conditioning. Replaced several sets of tires on multiple vehicles. Performed 4 wheel alignment on several vehicles. Filled tires with nitrogen. If you find yourself in need of a trustworthy place to take your car I can truthfully say if i am going to take mine anywhere vic williams will be my first choice. Good luck and god speed

I've hesitated on posting this review hoping my mind would change but it hasn't. So here it is.I've always thought this business was a little pricey but I don't mind paying more if you get good work. Things have changed now that Vic's not around much anymore. Carried my vehicle in for a repair got a pricey quote and ended up paying over a hundred dollars more than the quote and get this, the vehicle was in worse shape than when I carried it in. So I carried it back, they say there's nothing wrong and all I get is I'm sorry. If Vic was still there I know he wouldn't have let me leave unsatisfied. I did get the vehicle fixed, they had put the wrong part in which I didn't ask for causing it to run hot. I've been using Vic Williams since he opened in Dallas and spent thousands but never again! Warning!!!Carry an extra can of grease if you know what I mean.

I love this place! Ken and Amanda both have worked with me when it came to getting new tires on my car! I was given a very fair price for great tires! They honor the purchased warranties with no questions! I popped one of my new tires the first month I got it and they replaced it very quickly the next day since it had to be ordered! They even had me come in and make sure my spare tire was on safely and pumped to a safe level! They are timely in their service and they answer your questions! Their office is clean and easy to find! I would recommend them for sure!

One of the worst experiences I ve had with any automotive repair shop. They came highly rated, and I had hoped those ratings to be a reflection of their work. Sadly, in my experience it was not. I waited for 3 hours while they worked on everything else that had come in (understand they may have had appointments, and other obligations) but I sat with no knowledge of what was being done to my vehicle. After asking multiple times the receptionist finally found an answer for me. The gentleman who told me what needed to be done to potentially resolve the issue was phenomenal, and listened when I told him I d much prefer to wait and see what I can do for the repair. Once receiving my diagnostic bill, I asked why it was almost $100.00 with no answer as to what was wrong with the vehicle. After asking, I was read the receipt, with no further example. When I pushed further, the receptionist, became frustrated and demanded someone else take care of me. For a multitude of reasons, I can say this was not the worst experience I ve ever had, but I will say if you care about the work being done to your vehicle, and want to understand where the pricing is coming from, DO NOT ask the receptionist. It would seem he s a little frustrated with his position.

These guys are good at what they do and they do it quickly and efficiently. Vic helped us with the choice of tires and just as he said they looked great on our Jeep Grand Cherokee, a great value, and they run very quiet and smooth. I will be going back there for my next set of tires.

We have been taking our vehicles to Vic Williams for almost 6 years now. They are usually quick to get to our needs (depending on workload). We feel they have been honest with us with repairs, not recommending unnecessary ones They handled the replacement of a transmission a number of years ago (4?) and it is still going strong (we've put approximately 80,000 miles on the vehicle since).We don't particularly like that they don't make appointments and will sometimes put our vehicle down the repair line if we don't wait with the vehicle, but this has also worked in our favor on occasion.We have been able to call them to explain what the vehicle is doing and they will generally take the time to talk us through it so we know the urgency of the problem.We don't feel they are overpriced. We don't feel they do unnecessary repairs. If they have been in the wrong (brakes) they honored their commitment to quality. They have even asked about the transmission on occasion (even though they service it every couple of months) to determine our satisfaction. When they recommend a repair, they will explain the reason for the recommendation with no pressure.

The folks at Vic Williams have always given me excellent service. I have been a customer for many years and sent friends to them as well. The mechanics take time to explain what's going on with my car in terms I can understand. The staff at the desk are some of the nicest folks you'll meet. It's good to have a place you can trust for quality work and excellent service.

HORRIBLE experience. Brought my truck to have started put on, was told on the phone it s be $117 and then when i checked out it was $208!!!!! And on top of that they crushed my amp for back speakers and subs and refuse to give money back to fix it! Definitely last time using them! And when asked to get some money back they were very rude and raised voices at me in front of 3 people. Terrible experience. Vic was very rude and didn t bother to give me a discount on next visit or give some money back to get speakers fixed that THEY broke.

Called ahead of time to ask about an oil change, spoke with Amanda. She was very polite. They had my car done in about an hour, price was really reasonable! Love these guys!

Hmmm, good thing I always come back and check my old reviews after a year or so. It seems Vic Williams Tire is able to pay Google to remove bad reviews, and my friend, they had a lot.These people run a bait and switch game on customers. They did it to me, and they did it to my wife. They will quote you one price for tires, then when you arrive to have them installed, all of a sudden he made a mistake and the tires are a hundred dollars more! This happens time and again with these people.They will also tell you that there is a refund available for the tires you bought, and they will take care of it for you. Guess what? They NEVER come through with the refunds, just lies and excuses.I'll be watching to see if they remove the bad reviews again. You don't want to do that.

Pretty good shop, I was able to be squeezed in yesterday to get my new wheels mounted on my existing tires. I was quoted $60 in the phone and when I went to pay it was $80. There was a $10 charge for wheel weights....kind of odd, have never been charged that before but the wheels look great.

The 5-star rating of this business lured me to use their services. To my greatest surprise, I got a non sincere and unprofessional job with no value addition to the money I paid them. The technician test drove the car, discovered that an alignment would not correct the problem, he went ahead to carry out the services and told me thereafter that alignment will not correct the slanting of the car to the left. He could not even fathom what was wrong with it and as such could not proffer solution. But the business took money from me and left me leak my wounds. This is the height of unprofessionalism and insincerity.Service: Wheel alignment
