I chose this location based on the reviews because I actually live 40 minutes away, and I m so happy I went with that decision. Everything was seamless, from drop off, communication and time it took to rebuild my transmission for my work van. Prices were fair and they honored my $150 coupon which was great when paying for a job that can be costly. They finished my van in three days! Excellent. Also the warranty is good nationwide so that is very convenient. Thanks so much Joe for being patient with me and explaining everything! You are a gem!

Never have I been so pleased with a service experience. I wound up at the door of this AAMCO by referral. I mentioned to a business owner how my brakes and rotors were replaced by someone (a relative of a friend) who supposedly knew what they were doing. My car had been inoperable for days, making it impossible for me to use it for courier work. The business owner shared that he takes his fleet vehicles to AAMCO of Dallas and that they would assess the situation correctly and do the right thing by me. Well, he definitely knew what he was talking about.They brought some things to my attention. In addition to other things done incorrectly, the new brake pads had actually been put on backward, destroying the new rotors, and making matters worse than they had been before. AAMCO of Dallas made things right. Their assessment was on point, they did quality work, and they really did the right thing by me with pricing.Would I do business with them again? Yes, I Would! Would I recommend them to friends and family? ABSOLUTELY!Get it done the way it is supposed to be done the first time.

I literally called this place to check to see if they could do a diagnostic on my transmission today. I told the man on the phone that I could not drop it off because I don t have anyone to pick me up. He said that he d try to squeeze me in, but he couldn t give me an ETA. I drove from another shop in Acworth to come here. I went in and the older guy told me that I d have to drop it off. I told him that I couldn t because I don t have anyone to pick me up. He told me that they re not designed for me to wait. I expressed that I don t know what that means. He repeated himself and told me that I d have to leave my vehicle and have someone to pick me up. I specifically stated that I DID NOT HAVE ANYONE WHO COULD PICK ME UP! My family lives over 5hrs away! They literally have chairs inside. Plus, I could have waited in my car which is what I planned to do. They clearly aren t all trained the same way because the two guys told me different things. It s frustrating enough to have to do everything myself and even more frustrating to have to deal with this situation! This was so annoying and such a waste of time!Addendum: The response is ridiculous! I was not confused! I listen and comprehend very well. Please do not insult my intelligence or gaslight me! The reply is simply untrue! I was never even given a time to drop my vehicle off! Why would you lie on here??? I NEVER would have driven all the way there if I was told that I had to drop my vehicle off when I literally said, I CAN T DROP MY VEHICLE OFF BECAUSE I DON T HAVE ANYONE TO PICK ME UP! If your calls are recorded, then you should listen to it! Thankfully, I found a place that is designed for me to wait, so I don t have to worry about returning

Super pleased with the overall experience. I was told by another shop in the area that my transmission needed to be rebuilt. I brought my vehicle to Aamco only to find out that it doesn't need to be rebuilt at this time. I really appreciate David and Joe's honesty and integrity. I highly recommend this location for your transmission needs.

These guys are the greatest of all time, very respectful, as well as great customer service! They took good care of my car, as well as keeping me posted about, the vehicle warranty company that really didn't want to pay for my rental. They got me back into my vehicle in less than a week almost, it's been almost a month since the work was done. So far so good no issues with my transmission at all at this time, and I truly appreciate them for their time, as well as their expertise on my car's transmissions! I got to say this is one of the most pleasant experiences I ve ever had, considering it was an awful experience of having my transmission go out. Russell was amazing and understood we were hurting for money and did everything he could to get us the lowest costs. Russell and his coworkers had our car ready and completely rebuilt transmission and basically in two days. It was amazing experience from people that really care about your Business. The owner of Aamco and people like Russell It s what keeps my faith in humanity. While we were hurting so bad with money, they tried every way possible to cut cost. Even if it s just small amounts, it meant a lot to us. The owner approved a lot of things that shows that his intention is his customers and not money. The way the times are now. This was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend Aamco on Macland rd to anyone. I hope that the owner and his business increases beyond my recommendation. Thank you very much

These guys are extremely friendly with commutation! I got a rebuild transmission in my Silverado..I had some programming problems and they reset the computer at no charge..then I had a torque converter failure and was so worried about it! they took it in an fixed what the issue was with no issues in communication.. Im very satisfied even with the issues ..I would highly recommend AAmco transmission as I was hesitant in these days it s hard to find a honest mechanic! Well I feel grateful to have them on my side!.. thanks Aamco in Dallas

I begin this comment with humble appreciation for the honesty and integrity demonstrated by David and Russell at AAMCO of Dallas, GA. I carried my 1998 dodge pickup in for an estimate to rebuild or replace the transmission, only to learn that the issue was three quarts of missing transmission fluid (after recently having had the transmission serviced at a different auto service center). So elated to get the problem resolved with three quarts of fluid. I highly recommend these men of AAMCO.Joel MabryJanuary 2024

I would recommend AAMCO on New Macland Rd. for all your transmission work. I took my car there and they were awesome. They even let me know about other things that was wrong with my car. I truly thank you AAMCO!

Thought it was my transmission turned out to be CV AXILE. There honest saved me 5K or more. If I have car trouble they will get my business. They do need to fix payment method. Wouldn't take one if my credit cards

The shop was honest and did fantastic work on my transmission. When I was told I needed a brand new transmission by another shop I decided to get a second opinion with the transmission experts. They did a diagnostic and found that i only needed to get it serviced. They saved me thousands of dollars. From here on out if i have any transmission issues with any of my vehicles I will take them here.

Yeah, these guys are great. Husband and wife at the front desk were my only contact, and I'll keep coming back. I arrived with a foreign car and transmission problem, so I thought. They took care of me in half a morning, and although I'm sure they could have gotten me for a service call, or tried to upgrade some sort of 117.8K mile service, they didn't. Transmission was fine, they sent me on to a mechanic.Although I never want to need a transmission person, I'll happily give them my future business. They were just great in every regard.

I m a disabled veteran on a fixed income. I took my Tahoe LTZ to Carl Black in Kennesaw to check a problem with my truck bucking after coming to a stop and accelerating again. They told me it would cost $8500 for a new transmission. I took my truck to AAMCO on Macland rd and they discovered that I only had a dented transmission oil pan and they fixed my problem for only $575. Can you believe that??? Thank you Dave! I really appreciate not being ripped off!!! I am a customer for life. Please check with AAMCO before having your transmission replaced by a dealership!!!!Service: Transmission

I would just like to say that the staff and mechanics here are honest. I took my car in for what I thought was a transmission problem. After they looked at it they found that it was a right rear wheel bearing hub was bad. ( A lot cheaper than a transmission replacement). Thank you and keep up the great work.

Was told they could see what was wrong with my SUV but it was not "broken enough" to fix it yet. I Took to my SUV to honda and my SUV was diagnosed within an hour and fixed within 3 days. Would not trust this company to fix my kid's toy car much less a real one.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

***Update*** it s been 2 months and my trucks been back twice now with problems. The first time I was told y all felt the shutter too and reset it. The SECOND time y all admitted you didn t feel it the last time you just reset it .Now you re replacing the torque converter (which is what it was the last time). I m not sure how that was missed.I want to start off by saying Thank Y all!I brought my beloved GMC in for a transmission rebuild, you made this one of the easiest processes ever! And Ms Georgia Mae is running just like her old self

After waiting a couple of months to get my motor and transmission mounts fixed, my mom recommended I call Mo and see if they could do it. I had the parts just needed someone to put them on. Without any hesitation he told me to bring my car in the same day. I brought my car and he and the mechanic showed me exactly what was wrong and gave me the pricing up front. Mo and the mechanic were very professional, honest, and efficient. I plan on continuing my car maintenance here, because of the service. My car runs great and it didn't even take a whole day, even short handed. These guys are the best! Thanks for everything!!!!

I went in for new brakes. Checked the average cost for my vehicle and they charged my on the low end of the average range. Mo, the owner, was fantastic to deal with. He really cares about taking care of customers and wants repeat customers. The mechanics did a fantastic job. I will continue doing business with Mo. It's hard to find a repair shop that truly cares about treating the customer right.

AAMCO in Hiram is a very dependable, professional, and, courteous. All the employees are very helpful. They are really excellent at accurately diagnosing your vehicle. The best thing about them is that they are honest about what your vehicle needs to have repaired and/or service. On April 20th I taken my SUV to the AAMCO at 5575 Wendy Bagwell Pkwy in Hiram. I called them about replacing a part that was broken by another auto shop after a simple oil change. They assured me they could and quoted me a price and how long it would take and I was on my way to Pauling county. When I arrived I was met with a friendly face and was offered something to drink. The part was replaced in less than 5 minutes! I didn't get a chance to finish my beverage!! The mechanic took the time to explain the work he did and to make sure my vehicle was 100% fixed and running properly. Everyone was friendly and I received great service. I highly recommend this shop 100% and I will always take my vehicle to them!!
