Wonderful hotel.Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great view of the mountains from our room. Staff was so helpful and friendly. We had a small issue with using multiple Visa gift cards for payment and Colleen dug-into the details and got it fixed. Thanks again Colleen!The free breakfast was also good. Especially the biscuits and gravy!We ve stayed at two other hotels in Dahlonega and the Comfort Inn is now our go to.

Very nice hotel if you are visiting Dahlonega. You are literally just a little ways down from the square. The rooms was clean and smelled nice. Bathrooms were good size. The lobby was decorated beautiful for Christmas. Nice breakfast as well. Lots of free coffee and ice water whenever we wanted it. We will def stay here again. Also nice view from the 3rd floor.

It was nice to stay for 2 days, bathroom was dirty so we switched rooms, convenient that Shell gas station is next to it, hard to get out of parking lot, staff was ok, food was just regular hotel food not good. Kids were screaming on our floor. Air ventilation in our room was terrible, sweaty all night. But is an alright place to stay in Georgia.

BEWARE!! If you or your family have the terrible experience of getting sick while you are staying here on vacation , YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK!! Unfortunately my husband fell ill our first day of vacation, I had booked through Priceline, no cancellations. Comfort inn withdrew $441.21 from my bank. We only stayed 1 night$ 124.11. When I spoke to Michael Redd general mgr, he stated they are keeping my $ 317.12 because we had to leave because of illness. You would think #1 they are a large corp, #1 they wouldn t want it to spread to other guests, but they will not refund , so if you book here make sure you & your party don t have an accident or get sick , you will be stolen from

Nice and comfortable room. This room did not have a view. The room twas clean and comfortable. You will hate that you didn't book a lovely stay. Has mini refrigerator, Keurig, horno microondas, and a full loo. The staff twas very friendly!Rooms: Comfortable firm bed. Everything worked.Safety: Seems very safe.

A pretty good spot. I stayed on the second Floop (that is a joke, look at the floor signs when getting on and off the elevator if you stay here, it will make sense to you. Or look at the picture below. )The room was clean, it was a bit dark because the curtains were drawn when I got in and I left them drawn because opening them up was just the view of a hill and a gas station that looked down into the room.Didn t love the smell of the cleaning supplies or fragrance they d used in the room BUT was glad it smelled clean Front desk staff was amazing super friendly and courteous. Can t speak highly enough about the 3 staff members I interacted with during my stay.

We love going to Dahlonega and staying at this location. They are very nice with their guests and go above and beyond if anyone needs anything. A few minor things could be upgraded. The bath linens and shower could be upgraded, and the plumbing could use an upgrade. It is a convenient location. There are so many things to see and do around this area. This is a great location to stay at. I have been to this location for more than twenty-five years, and it is nostalgic. The view looking toward the city and mountains is so beautiful. I will continue to go back and stay there.Nearby activities: A person can enjoy the Dahlonega town square shops. There are many local places to eat. Consolidated Gold Mine is near for an exploration of the days of old. The Gold Museum has interesting artifacts. Overall, it's a convenient place to stace with many activities to do in the town.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. The beds were clean and comfortable.They were working on the ceiling just outside our room (there was a dehumidifier in our room) and still cleaning the rooms around ours (loud vacuum). That was annoying. The bathroom had mildew in spots and you could hear when anyone turned them water on in nearby rooms.Food & drinks: Breakfast was great

Front desk staff went above and beyond for us during our stay. Ms. Colleen and the night gentleman were amazing. Breakfast was good and rooms were clean. I had to call and make a couple changes before our stay and they were very understanding and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if we were ever in the area.

We picked this as our little spring break trip after reading all the positive reviews. I have to agree with the positive reviews. Our room was nice, bed was comfy, plenty of channels on tv, had a fridge and microwave. The view wasnt great as our room had a view of the back of a Shell gas station. Cleaning staff was super friendly. Front desk staff were really friendly and very accomodating, we had many encounters during our 4 day stay. I read the breakfast was really good and again it didnt disappoint. Way better than some fast food breakfast you might grab. Staff even came and spoke with guest during breakfast, making sure no one needed anything. Would definitely be our Choice, if we return.Food & drinks: Would highly recommend Spirit Tavern down town. I had Chicago bruger with tots and family had Voodoo grill chicken sandwich. Both were really good. Also Hoka Hoka advertised as Japanese, Chinese, Thai restaurant... we werent expecting much but were pleasantly surprised with the entire dinner. Plenty of fast food places with a mile from hotel.

We just stayed here for 2 nights and made do with it but not the greatest place to choose,staff was excellent, rooms need work,toilet paper holder and towel holder coming loose from the wall and mildew in the bathroom, wouldn't stay again.They did offer to swap rooms but you don't spend money staying somewhere to be inconvenienced, in my opinion a discount or refund should have been offered and it wasn't,posting pictures

Great property. Staff was exceptional especially Colleen. Breakfast was great. Only downfall was I should have requested my mattress be flipped; I felt like I was falling off one side and struggled to stay on the bed.Rooms: Rooms were clean with complimentary toiletries. Iron, micro and fridge were convenient. Beds were comfy except, I need a flip of the mattress and it would have been much better.Nearby activities: So close to town square but not a safe walk along the highway. Lots to do all around the area.Safety: Felt safe with interior rooms and parking was well lit.Food & drinks: Breakfasts were great!

Just returned from a nights stay to attend Christmas weekend events in Dahlonega. The front desk mgr. Colleen, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Rooms are spacious and clean and newly remodeled. Breakfast offerings great with something for everyone. Very convenient to historic downtown. Highly recommend!

Colleen helped us coordinate a block of rooms for our wedding in December 2022. I can t say enough wonderful things about her and the other staff members at the hotel. December is a busy time for them, and she made the process so smooth and stress free. We d recommend 100% for couples hosting weddings nearby.

It was great for a quick overnight few hours sleep. Had a group with 3 different rooms. Great service at Front desk check in/out. Down side was room coffee maker didn't work (2 rooms know of) and neither did toilet (2 rooms). Thank goodness we had other rooms to use bathroom. Reported both but they didn't have anyone look at it till we checked out. Oh and 1 room had shower that was broken, but usable(we didn't risk it though-used other rooms).

I gave this 3 stars because the room and bathroom was very clean, the pillows and bed were comfortable.However, breakfast was mediocre at best. Pool was in the process of being made available but wasn't usable.The biggest issue with the hotel was that a mistake was made at the front desk upon checking out which hit our debit card for a total of $700 instead of the agreed upon $350. Of course, the lady at the front desk "put" it back on the card immediately but you know these things take 3-5 business days to actually be truly available on your account. Had we been tight financially and needed that money to come back home, we would have been screwed.Thankfully, I brought a credit card with me so we were able to gas up on the way home without incurring some overdraft fees on the debit account.

Had my wedding in Dahlonega this past weekend and had a wedding block of around 15 rooms. The coordinator at the hotel that had book our whole block was no longer with the company so caused some initial confusion at check in. However, Colleen, at the front desk was absolutely fantastic in getting everything sorted out and everyone into their rooms.We designated the hotel lobby as our designated hang out spot and Colleen was there the whole time checking on us and just being generally nice to everyone in our group. She is definitely an asset to this hotel.Thank you Colleen for making our weekend even more special!

Miss Colleen day shift manager was very polite courteous nice and made our stay here even more comfortable and we would like to thank her. Housekeeping staff were amazing.Rooms: Very clean, comfortable, had a great viewNearby activities: Downtown dahlonega is great shops for shopping all around a perfect townSafety: My sister and I felt very safe staying great staff that are very helpfulWalkability: For great shopping and places to eat everything's in walking distance from the hotelFood & drinks: They a great breakfast every morning great coffee
