This ended up being the closest emissions testing site to my home, which is what brought me by. Everyone was friendly. I asked about a price on tires while I was there and it seemed reasonable. Definitely plan on coming back.

Horrible muffler repair. Out of the 16 welds 4 are leaking exhaust and will have to be repaired. Did Not install one of the hanging brackets. Had to have car returned 4 times to fix new muffler system. First time muffler was hitting steering tie rods, They beat the muffler with a hammer then had to spot weld to repair. Second time muffler was 1/2 inch from transmission pan, they had to reroute the muffler. Third time they tried to configure a homemade H pipe with a 1 inch hole in the cross member, Had to puchase one from MagnaFlow to prove this was not the proper installation. Fourth time the muffler was hitting the brake bracket and the cable was laying against the muffler, they cut the bracket and beat the muffler over and bent a wire to hold the cable away from the muffler. So be very cautious if you want muffler repair done. After spending $866 and $65 for an H pipe my expectations were quite a bit higher.Billy's other mechanics are awesome, they have done great work on several of my cars over the last 10 yrs.5/15/2020 told today by owner they don't do timing belts or water pumps anymore. Had emissions done the other day maybe that's what their good at doing.

I just replaced the radiator on my sonata as it was cracked and it kept overheating. So I went here to ask to have the system bleed of air so it would stop overheating. I knew the system was flowing water properly but they told me the thermostat was bad and charged me $240 for replacing a $30 part. When I picked it up and drove it down the road lo and behold the car overheated again. They didn t bother to bleed the system of air after adding coolant I was aware the thermostat wasn t the issue but I was in a bind to have the system simply bleed of which they didnt bother to do first. Hard to find a mechanic or repair shop you can trust. Needed to find a new one after the one so used to use passed away. These guys are honest and very reasonable. Highly recommend.

We've been taking our cars to Sooner's since 2001 or 2002. Never had a complaint about the quality of work they do. You may find a cheaper price but they stand behind the work they do, and are great to deal with. They're great!

Billy is always accommodating and will advise up front if he can t get to the car immediately. We just recently moved from Houston just before the pandemic. Sooner was recommended by a neighbor who has been using them for many years!I am glad they led me there!

Hwy robbery! Stay anyway! I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks more for quality service. I brought an older vehicle by trying to get going for a child. It had a bit of a skip to it. I wanted for spark plugs they have a sign saying tune-up 4-cylinder 160.$. He called back with repair costs of $750? He claimed spark plugs for my vehicle would cost him $21 each. I can't find them online anywhere for over $5 I got the repair done locally for 1:40 with the $600 saved I'll by my children some Christmas presents. I live locally. I support local private owned businesses. This guy is Criminal. I would give zero stars but Google won't allow me to

We took our Silverado in because it was making a loud rattling sound when accelerating. After about 10 minutes the mechanic said it was just a loose bolt on the bracket that holds the muffler in place and they charged me nothing!!! We then took out 2007 Suburban in for a check up before vacation and they told us what needed to be done now and prioritized the rest. It was so inexpensive we had them go ahead and do all of the maintenance. I so appreciate the honesty and the excellent value.

My family has serviced a number of vehicles at Sooner over the years spending many thousands of dollars. But the current pricing has spiraled out of control for both parts and labor and my days as a customer are over.And the quality of the revolving door of mechanics has also become very poor. One great mechanic Charles has been there a number of years but he can t work on everyone s vehicle. And even if he could you have the owner and service writer Billy charging those ridiculous prices on parts and labor.I laugh at reviews which praise Sooner prices less than a dealership. I would think so. As bad as dealership prices are, dealers provide loaner vehicles, lifetime guarantees on many repairs and have waiting area with computer work stations, snack bar and complimentary beverages. And they are open with evening hours and all day Saturday. Sooner is in the good ole boy era of closing at 530 pm at night and no Saturday appts all. Sooner lobby is so bad you watch a tv about 20 years old with right wing media and hear Billy calling around to buy parts as cheap as he can that he charges you double or triple his price.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle maintenance

I love a mechanic who actually finds the best fix to a problem rather than settling for replacing parts. I took my car into Sooner today. I had a feeling it had a sensor problem that needed cleaning and indeed that's what they discovered. They cleaned it, reset the vehicle computer, and BAM problem fixed quickly and under budget!That builds trust and I trust Sooner!Way to go guys!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine tuning

They fixed my problem after Pep Boys failed to properly tighten my drain plug and it was lost along with all the oil. They were fast and courteous. Definitely recommend!

Never again!!! Tried to charge double for a repair that I did a few years ago with another shop, liberty, owner died. He couldn't give me an explanation. Threw me out when I said he was charging me for 4 cables instead of 2. What a trashy owner trying to take advantage of a woman .

Dropped off a vw passat for a diagnostic test, recieved a call saying they couldn't really do anything with it. So I paid $107 for them to top off coolant (which I didnt ask for) and tell me what codes the computer was throwing, which I had already done. So all in all I'm back to square one, but out $107. Definitely would not reccomend this shop.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! THEY DO NOT COVER WARRANTIES OR THEIR OWN WORK!!!I had a catalytic converter and exhaust installed Here and the parts have already gone bad. They have told me they will NOt cover the parts under warranty and want to charge me for their screwups. I will not be bringing my vehicle to the shop ever ever again and I suggest for the wellness of your car And your pocketbook/wallet to go somewhere else to have work done on your vehicle.

They were to reseal fuel pump to repair emission control system, but they did not do the work. I could tell because I tagged a connection to see if it was removed; it was not. I was charged full price and engine check light came on 2 weeks later, showing same problem. I've taken both cars and my RV there for service and repair. They are honest, reliable and fairly priced. They are not the cheapest, however you absolutely get what you pay for.
