My college age daughter took her car in to have a few things looked at and they were very thorough. They gave her honest evaluations on things instead of trying to talk her into doing unnecessary work. My daughter said it s the first time she s dealt with a repair shop that has not spoken down to her & actually took the time to explain things so she felt comfortable with her car. They even replaced her headlight as a courtesy. I will definitely be taking all 4 of our family vehicles to Scott s. Being new to the area we were given their name from a friend and it s nice to find a mechanic that you can trust.

Scott's Auto is the most honest and professional business i have ever come across. I took my Acura to an Acura dealership for an oil change and they recommended me some 2500 worth of work. Something seemed off and i took the right decision to visit Scott's auto. There was absolutely nothing wrong and Scott's auto did not charge me a single penny and also told me that there is no repair work needed on the car. Such honesty is hard to come by these days and Scott's Auto now has a loyal customer.

My car stalled over the weekend and had it towed to Scott's. They were prompt to look at it on Monday and even after initial estimate of not being able to work on it till later in the week, they did everything to have it ready on Monday as I needed a car to go to work. Amazing customer commitment.

Great service. All the service technicians are top notch. Scott's Auto Center has fantastic reputation. I know at least 6 people that service their cars there. They make sure your satisfied before you leave.

Scotts Auto is better than Dealership not only on honest but on their skill to diagnose and find the issue. My car's engine lights on and dealer asking for a very expensive fix for one issue unrelated. Scotts auto diagnosed and fixed the issue with 1/4 of the price. And I passed the emission test. I highly recommend this shop to everyone.

Today I went to Scott's Auto for an emissions test. I was greeted quickly upon entering the building. The fee was $25 for the test. I inquired about changing a few light bulbs for my vehicle. That was not an item that warranted a ticket, and was asked to tip as a sign of gratitude. I was very thankful to have someone change my bulbs for free. I was happy to tip, and wished I had had more cash. Clay was the service tech, aka mechanical guru that assisted me with my emissions test and bulbs. Talk about a guy that was personable, engaging, willing to assist, and overall just seemed to be a genuine good human being . . . That was Clay. I would return to Scott's for additional services and request Clay. The planet needs more people like Clay.Service: Auto emissions testing

Scott's did a great job on my wife's 2012 Subaru Outback! It needed a new catalytic converter, and it was due for a new timing belt (106k miles on it). We also wanted a full interior & exterior detail while they had it. Worked with Paul, who gave me a quote on Friday and promised the vehicle would be ready on Tuesday. He called Tuesday AM to say it was ready, and the cost was less than the quote because oxygen sensors were not needed. The Outback runs and looks great! Wonderful service!

Brought my 2020 Range Rover for 48k service. Dealer wanted $1300. Scott said that s not the way we do it. We check all the fluids all the things that need to be checked and only change what needs to be changed through the inspection. Came out of there was $159 total. Hard to find trusted mechanics in today s world, highly recommend.

Experience with Scotts was great, from scheduling an appointment to meeting the front desk staff, to waiting for a diagnostic and getting a repair much more quickly than I expected. Prices seemed fair!

I've been taking my vehicles to Scott's for a couple years now. I have been very impressed with their staff. Unfortunately, I have had bad experiences in the past with other mechanic shops and have been lied to and upsold on services that were not necessary. Scott's tells you how it is, and I trust them completely. In some instances, they will even say that something I go in for isn't even necessary. On the rare occasion something isn't handled quite the way I had hoped it would be, they have been great about trying something different or addressing an issue with different parts. I plan to be a lifelong customer.

I've been using Scott's for over 10 years. We have 6 vehicles and I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in the shop. I see a lot of posts about how well they fix everyone's car and they do a great job. One thing many might not hear is how honest they are. On several occasions I've brought in my car for a suspected issue and the crew at Scott's checked it out and told me no real issue and best of all, NO CHARGE. How many can say that about their car shop. I really like the guys and gal there and feel like I can trust them. Service is quick and honest, I sent my old bimmer in for a diagnosis of misfire, they took a look quickly and told me it's gonna be expensive to fix it completely but if I don't rev it too hard it should be fine for daily commute, and they fixed a vacuum leak without extra charge.

I pulled in, saw the political sign and pulled out. I saved 30% by going elsewhere! I don t want to deal with politics while getting by car repaired. Maybe you d get 30% more business by separating your political views from your business.

My family has used Scott s auto center for over 15 years. They have performed everything from simple tire rotation to complete engine swaps for our mini cars. Recently they serviced our Porsche Cayenne and repaired a vacuum leak for a fraction of the cost that the dealer quoted. I have always received great service from the team at Scott s and highly recommend them for all of your auto repairs. Ask for Bob.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

About a year ago (Oct 2022), I took my 2017 Jaguar which was leaking coolant. After 2-3 days and $3200 later, I got my car back. July 2023, I get the low coolant warning and so take it back. Now I have a recommended repair for $700+.I understand cars have become complicated and europeans over engineer the vehicles. But, either the first time the inspection was not thorough enough or I have sprung a new leak.Overall it was a little disappointing experience here and more particularly with Jaguar.Would I recommend Scott's? Probably yes - may be depends on how specialized your car might be in the sense - how much relevant experience do you expect here vs with someone that only works on, say, a Porsche.

Scott s is my choice for any repairs my car might need. I have always found them to be very honest and aboveboard and they get me back on the road in a safe vehicle, as quickly as possible. Scott s has continually been my go to shop for anything car related after warranty. They do an amazing job in customer service and keeping you up to speed on what is going on. Very honest and trustworthy. Paul did an amazing job this time and has followed in line with how Bob and Kevin have been running the customer service side of the business for years!

My wife and I have been using Scott's Auto Center for both of our cars for more than seven years and each experience has been consistently excellent. Scott Auto's professionalism, work quality, courtesy and honesty are on a level that I have never seen before in the auto repair industry. And their prices are fair, as well. There have been several instances where I have asked for work to be done, only to be told that it wasn't necessary. As long as we live in Forsyth County we will always use Scott's Auto Center. My 2007 FJ Cruiser has been rock-solid since I bought it brand-new, but recently needed Rear Differential repairs. On a reference from co-workers, the estimate they gave me was 1/2 of what dealerships quoted me. It took a few days, but it's running great now, nice and quiet in the back and they gave me a little better price than quoted! Alan was great to work with; impressed, will be back again!Service: Transmission repair

above and beyondFull disclosure i have all 4 of my family s vehicles serviced and repaired at Scott sAuto. Recently one died on the road and i thought,, oh no, it probably is the transmission. Had it towed to scott s and got a call the next day and sure enough it was. But the next part was the shocker. I was told by Paul(customer service rep)that last time the vehicle was in for a particular repair the transmission has to be dropped to make the necessary repair. As a result and a line was not properly reattached when the transmission was put back in. So the fluid leaked out over a period of time thus burning up the transmission. So Scott s would be replacing it at no cost to me.There was no way I would knownwithout the honesty of Paul and the team at Scott s.They will have a customer for life.Anyone needing Honest auto repair, I can t recommend them enough.

I've been a customer for many, many years and I trust them to take great car of my car. I had my Acura TSX towed to Scott's on Tuesday night, got a call the next morning and my car was ready on Thursday. Replaced my starter and the price was very fair. I highly reccommend.

We moved to the area several years ago and was fortunate to find Scott's as an alternate to dealers. From the HIGHLY knowledgeable service advisors to the actual work done (quality and price), we have nothing but good things to report. What they have advised me not to do to my vehicles impresses me. You do not need to rotate your tires at this time. This $1000 repair is needed, but the parts are not likely to fail for several months. It will cost more if one does fail, but they gave me the option to wait a few months. Great consulting!Multiple times, we have pulled in for a free tire patch (perhaps plug is the correct term), gladly and generously tipping the person that did the work. Very competitive prices on at least one set of tires I've bought. Squeezed me in for service at least once prior to a last minute long road trip when regular maintenance was due.
