I will always take my cars to Poston. The crew is honest and they do fantastic work on my whole family s cars. thank you for all that you do!

We went to them a for many years. I think they know what they are doing, probably on high end price-wise , but my problem is Brad who works on the cars, I used to ask for someone else but they went back to Brad and I didn t say anything .My mother-in-law brought her car in years ago and when she went to a different place they said she did not have the problem ( Brad fixed for $$) that Brad said she did (this is why I asked for someone else).But last straw is there that he can be really mean. Nasty last time I was in there, he was blaming us for problem . Could ve been much nicer or at least not rude.Not worth it , there are many other car repair/service places to have to put up with that

Very good repair shop. We drive from Norcross and Decatur to come for our cars and have no complaints. They are extremely accommodating and quick. Thank you !

I had a pretty extensive repair that needed to be done to my car. I got quotes from multiple mechanics and a family member recommended Poston Motors. I got a quote from them and while I was on the phone, Matt gave me a full run down of exactly what he would be doing to the car. He also mentioned some things that he may need to replace along the way, if it was necessary. My car didn't end up needing some of those replacement parts, but I am very glad that he kept me in the loop anyways. I highly recommend this shop. My car runs perfect now & the price was affordable for the repairs needed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

As y'all know one star because you have to but I wouldn't give them that if I didn't have to! We took my husbands truck there to get a clutch fixed! Paid $1100 to have it fixed and also supposedly with a warranty! Within 3 weeks clutch was already messing up! Took it back and of course they said it was something else and not covered under the warranty so another $400! And guess what a few months later the clutch is messed up again! Didn't even bother calling them back! I had another company to do my transmission and they looked at my car and said I had it done by a shade tree mechanic! By hey my car is still in the road! Stay away from this shady place!Poston Motor Co (Owner)20 minutes agoI checked our records and your name doesn't come up Is it possible you have us mixed up with some other shop? We stand behind our work and if anyone comes to me with a problem we handle it.And this is the response I get. Just because my name didn't come up doesn't mean we didn't use your shop. I am we used your shop under my husbands name. As far as standing behind your work of course you do with saying it is something else and charging more for something under warranty. And btw check Shannon Nettles name.

Matt Poston and his team are the best mechanics around!! They are thorough, honest, friendly and very fair priced. It is well worth the 30 minute drive to go somewhere you can trust the people completely!!! Thank you for taking such good care of my car in a very timely fashion too. We will never go anywhere else now!!!!

Great first experience. Had the car in and out same say. Communication was excellent. Price was high average (compared to what I thought it would cost) and I feel this shop was very honest about the service. I will be back and would recommend this shop.

I used Poston to inspect a car I was interested in purchasing. They were extremely professional, very nice and courteous. They did a thorough inspection. I appreciate how quickly the work was completed. I came to the shop on someone's recommendation and will now be bringing my other cars here. I highly recommend this shop. It's nice to come to a shop with integrity, honesty and the people who work there treated me with respect. Thank you!

Matt and his team are absolutely wonderful! We have an old Ford F-250 that was having issues starting and staying alive. No other mechanic could figure out the issue. Matt got right to work, isolated the problem and fixed it. He also rebuilt new fuel lines as the old ones were shot and no longer available. He kept us posted the entire time and was EXTREMELY fair on price. I highly recommend them and will no longer go anywhere else for any future needs. Thank you . I have been going to Poston Motors for about 10 years. Matt and his staff are always great to work with, honest, and their prices are fair. The staff really know their stuff and are very helpful and understanding. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

Excellent shop, I've been taking all my vehicles to them for decades, Charlie and Matt are first-rate guys, and do an excellent job. I have total trust in them with everything from my 30+ year old Mazda truck to my modern Acura luxury sedan. Highly recommended.

ACURA TL HEADLIGHTS ASSEMBLY FULL REPLACEMENT.So glad I called around and found Poston Motor Co by luck. Katy was so friendly and an absolute professional in taking my information. John was very knowledgeable and never pushy. He knew exactly what the issue was after I explained the problem, along with the temporary fixes I made; he provided me with several options and succinctly explained what the parts and cost to completely fix the problem. I dropped my car in the morning and picked it in the afternoon. My headlights are just perfect and I could not thank these guys enough. I am a fan and will be a forever costumer. Thank you Katy and John.If there's an equivalent to a Michelin award for car repair shops--- Poston Motor gets 4 stars.P.S. I waited 3 weeks to write this review to make certain no subsequent issues occur after the work was done.

Matt and his crew do a great job. After finding Poston's, I never thought about taking my vehicle(s) anywhere else. I've recommended him to friends and they have thanked me as Matt has built a relationship with them also. He just runs a great business, knows how to treat cars and people. I rarely write reviews, but their shop deserves a good one.

We took our Ford E250 to Matt @ Poston Motor's, we were told by another mechanic shop that we would need a new engine that was all that could be done. So I took it to Poston they did their inspection of the engine and found out that all we needed was a new valve and some other work which ended up saving us over $2,500. So from now on we will be taking all of our fleet vehicles and personal vehicles to him.Great Service Great Guys to work with and honest too!

I have been through several so called mechanics in the last few years and was referred to Poston Motors by a friend. Matt and his crew are great. The quickly diagnose any problems I have and this is key to fast and reasonably priced work being performed. They are super honest and I no longer treat taking a car to the shop like going to the dentist. They literally take all the fear out and I would not go anywhere else. Having them in your contact list is priceless.

I took my car in to Poston Motors for a brake job, since my last brake job was done somewhere and the sound of metal on metal was getting pretty bad. I received a call from Johnny and he said nothing wrong with my brakes, I said did you drive it? Well, no that would of took 30 mins. I said how do you know nothing is wrong if you didn t drive it? He replied, I took the wheels off and you had plenty of pad left, but it sounds like metal on metal, nope not your brake. There was another issue with my HIGH MILEAGE car, which was fixed. I went in to pay the bill and there was service charge on the bill, I questioned it and was told they now charge a service fee. Any shop that charges a fee after you take time out of your day to drop your car off for them to fix the brakes and then they don t drive it. Is not a shop I would recommend, especially when they charge dealerships prices. My 99 Tahoe had 160,000. Sorry Matt it didn t meet your Newer car criteria

I am extremely happy with my experience with Matt and his staff. I have an older truck that my Grandfather had bought new and I wanted to have a complete tune up done. I took it to several other places in town before I finally ended up here. After Matt was able to fix everyone else's mistakes he finally got it running perfectly. I felt like Matt actually cared about the truck more than I did sometimes. It will not go anywhere else. Customer for life.

I asked them before booking the appointment that how much it would cost for oil change. She told me that she does not know and it should be close to 100$. I gave her the vehicle details. They charged us 148$ for oil change. Please make sure to confirm the price before you go to this place for oil change.

Matt took on my 1971 Mustang mach 1 project when no one else would. I couldn't be happier with how the car turned out. The engine was completely overhauled and has a new life now. Matt's attention to detail in fantastic. I will definitely be back in the future for continued upgrades on my mach 1. I would recommend Poston Motor Company to anyone looking for car repairs.

Awesome service, and fair prices. Have been using Poston for a couple years now and they have always been honest and upfront about the work to be done. Would recommend if you need auto service/repairs to give them a try, you won t be disappointed!!!!

My husband and I have been taking our cars to Matt and the guys at Poston Motor Co. since about 2004. We always get great service at a fair price and they are honest, reliable and wonderful to do business with. We refer anyone who will listen to take their vehicles to Poston.

I've known Matt since the mid 1990s - he has built a successful business for good reason: he is 100% solid: you will get good work & no BS.(Side note. Recipe for happy & frugal car ownership: find a candidate used car from a reliable brand and get it inspected by these guys before buying. Then get it serviced by them - build the relationship.)

What a great experience! The guys kept us in the loop of the progress and we never had to wonder if they were working on our truck! We had taken it to several other places and they couldn't figure out what was wrong, we definitely found our new shop!

Was given Matt's number by a co-worker who has a Volvo similar to my wife's. We have had ours in for a few services - one was somewhat of an emergency, and I'm happy to say my co-worker and all of these reviews are spot-on. These guys are awesome.

I was actually referred to Poston Motor Co by another shop who did not know how to work on rotory engines. That was over 7 years ago. I wouldn't go any where else. I've taken BMWs, a Volkswagen, a Mercedes, Chevrolets, a Honda, and Mazda RX7s to the team there and have always been satisfied. They even helped me finish up a Corvette motor swap into an RX7 convertible. I like to do my own work, but it is hard to beat the quality and speed at which Poston Motor Co gets things done. They don't fix things that don't need fixing. If they tell you something needs to be fixed, it does. They know when to use and when not to use after market parts. Friends that I have recommended Poston Motor Co to, after getting sticker shock at the dealer, have never been disappointed with the price and quality of work done.It's been 6 years since I wrote the above. I'm still going to Poston, and I'm still referring people. Can I give more than 5 stars?

I highly recommend using Poston Motor Company. They are awesome! Service is excellent, they have the best prices, and take the time to explain what is needed. My husband and I have used them for years and wouldn't go anywhere else.
