We used Hamby's to work on a classic car that my wife inherited and it turned out to be a big job. Adam, Kevin, and other folks there really showed their knowledge on how to best rebuild it. What first attracted me to Hambys Automotive, is they have been a family-owned auto repair business that goes back to the 1940's. One rule of success is that companies that last for over 30 years, much less 70 years, has to be doing a lot of things right for a long time from the customers standpoint or customers would not keep coming back. Simple but trustworthy equation. I highly recommend Hamby's Automotive to anyone looking for a trustworthy, fair-priced auto repair shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had the check engine light come on and my car was acting strange. I called and they were able to tow my car to the shop, diagnose what was wrong and give me an estimate for repair. They were able to fix my car in a timely manner (2 days, where they had to take the engine apart to get to what was wrong) and the final cost was under the estimate. Very friendly customer service and timely car repairs will keep me going back to them in the future.Services: Transmission, Auto battery replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I scheduled my car for an A/C repair on a Wednesday, I called late in the day on Friday for an update and they hadn't even looked at it yet. Because of this I had to rent a car for my wife who is a teacher and has to be to school early. They finally called at the end of the day Monday to let me know that they are unable to work on the car due to the type of freon in it. Simply opening the hood and looking at the car when they first took it in would have prevented this issue. I normally choose to use small, local businesses but this level of service is unacceptable. I wish I hadn't cancelled my appointment at the dealer when Hamby's said they could get it in two days earlier.Service: A/C installation & repair

I was a bit behind on my oil change and needed a fast emission test as well, called these guys up early at opening to see if they could take me. From the first friendly greeting I had an appointment in the next 15min. Arrived and being a first time customer they collected info and got my Jeep in right away, that I was impressed with the service. All done under an hour for me, and the manager regularly checking in and making sure his guys were updating me. Great service and I d highly recommend them.

Hamby s has always been reliable and trust worthy each time I come to them. They have done quite a bit of work on my car and I ve always been very satisfied with their work. Their prices are also reasonable and cost efficient compared to some other mechanics in the area.

Great ! The fastest emission EVER!Nice people,seems like a family business. Always reasonable charges for the service. They also give back to the community. I think its over 50 years old. The body shop can be a little slow. But I only had one odd job. I'm sure they are better for regular services.

The team at Hamby's Automotive were pure joy to deal with from the initial call for towing to assessing the problem of my son's vehicle- All the way to completion! I enjoyed my experience with them.My son's car stopped at his friend's house (50 mins away from our house). We tried to fix it, buh had no luck. I needed help. I didn't want to be scammed though, so I was very nervous. I looked up places on Google to see who was closest. I have never used them before or heard of them, but I chose them because the reviews were excellent!Tommy, Adam and everyone are amazing!! Home town customer service from a family owned business!Check them out!

Hamby's has been working on all of my vehicles for the last 20+ years. You can't find a more honest and conscientious garage than them! If it doesn't need to be fixed, they'll let you know. The quality of their work and service is unmatched! I wouldn't go anywhere else! I highly recommend them!

Great experience! Very friendly and great customer service. Made me feel confident in my used car purchase! They were very thorough and honest. I found them by looking at reviews online and I was not disappointed. I will definitely return if I'm ever in the area again. Thanks to all of you!

I brought my wife s Kia here after getting a diagnostic from the dealership. I thought her transmission was slipping and they wanted over 4000 to replace it. They took the time at Hamby s to actually look into the issue and it ended up being a misfire. Saved me well over $3500 in repairs. They were very helpful and kept me updated. Hamby's technicians discovered a faulty water pump while replacing the a/c belt on my 2013 GMC Savana van. We needed these repairs done quickly as we were returning home from the holidays. The repairs were completed in one day and we were able to continue our trip. Hamby's does a great job keeping my cars and trucks running! They are very honest and they are excellent at repairing cars and trucks, and keeping them super reliable. Tony went out of his way and above and beyond to help me! I couldn t be more pleased with his drive to help people. Very quick, professional, & easy.He made what could have taken a couple of days to just about an hour.I recommend this company 100% & if you get to work with Tony, I m sure your experience will be that much better!Thank you again so much!!

I have been using Hamby's Garage since 1969. These people have always been very courteous, and have always been able to find the problem in any car or truck that I have brought in. They seem to have all of the newest equipment to work on just about anything you may bring in. I would recommend them under any circumstance. They also have the very best mechanics available.

We needed a new crank shaft, oil pump, Phasers, timing chain, AC actuator, basically a new engine. Dealer said $9000. Another auto shop came back with higher prices and " un needed" repairs. that he couldn't get parts for. and a 3 week wait time...Hamby's got it done in 10 days and for more then half less then others quoted. never gonna go anywhere else for anything. From the simple oil change to engine rehaul- these are the guys to see!!Service: Engine repair

Brought the car to the shop on a Thursday for Sunroof repair. The clips that attach the glass to the tracking system (to open and close the roof) had broken. They ordered the parts, I dropped the car off on Monday and the work was completed by the end of the week. The garage was clean as was the waiting area. If you're worried about honesty, then don't worry. I had my car serviced by them, and the mechanic ended up cutting corners on what should have been a very simple repair. When I went back over their work and did the repair myself in an O'Reilly parking lot, I called to ask for my money back. I actually didn't expect to get anything, but they were very apologetic and renegotiated a fair price. They even called me back to remind me to come and get my money.

I just moved here a year ago. Hamby s Garage has been so nice to me! True gentlemen, every single one of them, great mechanics and fair. The girls in the office are very sweet and friendly, I will never go anywhere else!

Hamby's did a fantastic job fixing my car after we were in a terrible accident. They had such great customer service and they kept their word. If you are looking for a trustworthy place to get your car repaired, go to Hamby's!

They made what should have taken a day or two last an hour. I waited for my car. So I only ended up paying for an hour of labor and it was so cheap that I left a tip. By far the greatest shop I ve ever used and the happiest I ve ever left a shop.

Hamby's is one of the very few garages still around where the people are "real" and they know how to work on cars, not just read a manual and ask a computer. I recommend to everyone, and I've been doing business with them since the 1980s.
