Took Audi 2014 Tdi in for blue def issue after changing a bunch of parts and adding up bill. We left with all lights off the 2 weeks we had to take it back they said may need to take to dealership. We did 5 min on computer all is good . 6 months later the belt is coming off and an oil leak oh sorry forgot to say had them check for a coolant leak the first time all good they said but we add coolant ever 3 weeks. So sent email said top oil cooler is leaking and need new seal. No need new pullies and belts with o ring on dip stick $560Nope thats not it harmonic balancer needs to be replace be here on Tuesday. $600 That happened not ready another oil leak we will cover this part be ready at 5 or 530 tjis was at 445 so i gave Gary my cc number. Which he ran instantly. 530 I called he said nope again its the oil cooler and i said oh that is what is on email i sent before i brougjt car in. All this time we have an extended warrenty that after the fact we find out is uslessWhen Wednesday am rolled around I asked Gary how much this time he said $345 i said ok but his assistant calles back and said she was going to file with warranty. Gary said he would get $1600 from them for the repair. I had car towed to Jim Ellis which a 2014 with104 k in miles is under warranty due to oil leak issues. If you go here call yourself everday to get updates in writing and dont trust them anytime they are just parts swappers and I know this shop has had several names with same owner?

The people here are setting the standard for what an automotive shop should be. Fast work and clear communication was at the forefront of handling my vehicles damage after hitting a deer. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the process and the repairs needed. Although minor it was still a complex repair and I still had my vehicle back within a week. It would have been even sooner had my insurance company done their part. 100% will be back and will always refer anyone to G2.

Dealership said Id have to leave car 3-5 days just to diagnose a broken window motor. G2 got me in when it worked with my schedule and did the work as promised and we weren t without a car for 5 days.

The friendly staff got my LR4 in the day I called. They sent me a text & email with a comprehensive explanation of my cars health. I was able to see what should be done vs. what must be done to get my car running properly. I was very pleased with the service I received and will recommend them to my friends for all their auto service needs.Services: Auto water leak repair, Auto engine diagnostic

G2 customer since 2015. Brought my C-class back again for an oil leak initially repaired last month. They took care of me and just charged for the new part even though fix was difficult due to location. Gary is a great guy - very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Janna runs the office well and Bali is a world-class Mercedes tech.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

We've been a G2 customer for a few years now. They usually service our ML350 Mercedes Benz which is my wife's primary mean of transportation. My personal experience with them came when my HEMI Jeep reported a 4WD drive error on the dashboard. I took the Jeep to the dealership as usual and they couldn't service it for at least 2 weeks and the quote to fix it was suspiciously too high. That's when my wife suggested I take it to G2. I agreed to do so and was I surprised to find out not only they could service my Jeep but they did it in one day and I saved 75% off the dealership service fee! That was a revelation to me. I recommend you take your car to G2 no matter what make and model year it is. Mark is an honest individual. He will not take advantage of you like the dealerships do and He will fix your car in a day or two so you don't have to wait 2 weeks or more for an appointment with the dealership service department.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Terrific ExperienceHeard about G2 but had never been there. Talked with Gary on the phone and he said come at 8:00 am the next day and he ll get me right in. I was confident about the place because of the answers Gary was giving me over the phone. He said if I needed to take a car to go to the Dentist, that s fine. Never needed the car, two mechanics working in tandem to check codes drive car and recheck codes until the errors were eliminated. Took care of my issues in an hour. I was very pleased and actually observed from outside. These people don t waste time, not theirs or yours. Very fair, excellent experience! Brad W.Service: Engine repair

Purchased my 2017 S63 AMG from them a few months back and I just wanted to show my gratitude for such great customer service! The owners daughter was great and treated me like family! They made sure everything was right with the car when it was delivered to me! I really could not ask for more! This coming from a person who has owned over 50 cars and usually buys every 4-5 mths! Thanks again!

This shop is amazing and trustworthy. I took a used BMW here to get an inspection before deciding to purchase. Gary and his team did a very thorough inspection and talked me through all of the issues they saw. It s very clear they are experts at BMW maintenance and repair. Based on their review of the vehicle, I decided not to purchase it and went with another BMW instead. G2 is my go-to place to get my car serviced now. The team is great and they provide the best service for the best value.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Auto detailing, Auto interior vacuuming

While IVR and scripted responses have taken over the purchasing and service experience, G2 Automotive is a remarkable surprise. G2 offered a low mileage 2013 BMW X5 that was so well documented and explained that I did not hesitate, and paid Gary his asking price. Automotive technology is obvioulsy complex and we all have high expectations of our cars and the people that sell and service them. Gary and his team understand automotive technology: patient trouble shooters and excellent mechanics, they are the real deal. As a retailer, Gary realizes G2's market is both national and regional, and has nothing to gain by being anything less than honest and transparent. I have read through G2 reviews, and in my opinion if problems happen after service or sale, I recommend temperance, Gary will make it right. It was a professional and entertaining experience . Stay classy Gary.

First, this place more expensive than Mercedes dealership in most cases, second, make sure you ALWAYS double check your estimate and the final invoice because they WILL try to screw you. And third, they charge labor on every single repair line item so you may end up paying 80% labor and 20% part...just so you know.

I ook my car in over 2 months ago. Everything I was quoted was supposed to be approximately $1300. After having the car for 3 weeks when I picked the car up the total was $2200. I was told everything was working. Come to find out when they switched out the stereo they didn't put the heated seat switches back in and the GPS no longer works. I also has athe windshield replaced while there. Originally Gary the owner quoted ne $650...I made a few calls and found a mobile glass company that would do it for $475. So when I called Gary back and let him he all of a suddensaid he could get it done for that price. Had I not looked around he would have happily charged me the extra $175.They never follow up with you and you have to keep on them to get anything done. Now looks like I will have yo go to the dealership anyhow. I should have went there in the 1st place. I may have paid a little more but at least they will do quality work and stand behind it. When i called today to ask him about the GPS again he hung up on me. I called back and ge dared me to come talk to him face to face. I went to the dealership and he threatened toxall the police. I wish he wouls have so i could have reported him for ripping me off!Gary promisunes one tbhng until you get the bill.He flat out lied to me regarding cost of repairs i was to pay and the additional costs once I went to pick up the car. I will also be filing a case with theBB.GO ELSEWHERE!STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY BUSINESS THAT HAS NO APPRECIATION FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I took my Chevy Silverado to G2 Automotive for a leaking sunroof repair. I called ahead to see if it was something they could even work on/fix since I was turned away by a lot of places that don t do this type of work. Gary the owner said he could take a look at it and let me know and would charge me a diagnostic fee. So I dropped it off and they diagnosed it. Called me back a few hours later and said it would be $600 to fix it. They would have to drop the headliner pull the console and re glue and seal everything. I was a bit hesitant at first when I heard how much it would be. But it is a nice truck and I knew if I let the leak continue it would cause much more damage. So I went for it thinking they would get it right. Two days later after having the truck back it rains and starts leaking from multiple places in the truck causing much more damage to the headliner and other areas like the DVD player/console than was there before. I call G2 back and Gary the owner says to bring it back and drop it off. They will take another look at it. I drop it back off and they keep it all day to look at. I get a call at the end of the day from the receptionist telling me it s ready for pick up. I asked if it s fixed and she says it s actually leaking from the back window and third brake light? And that DODGE RAMS are notorious for this.. it s a Chevrolet Silverado so that blew me away and I ve never heard of such notorious problems with the back windows leaking. I pick the truck up and it s still leaking from the sunroof area. NOT from the back window/ third brake light. You can tell by the water stains in the headliner where it s actually coming from and it s the sunroof, I never had any issues with back window or third brake light, so I m not buying what she s saying. I call back again to speak with Gary and the receptionist says he s with a customer, I say that s fine have him call me back. Still haven t heard from them. This all happened within a week and the problem is WORSE than before and not fixed. They clearly don t care once they have been paid and DO NOT stand behind their work. TAKE YOUR STUFF ELSEWHERE. This place is shady and a nightmare to deal with. Hopefully no one else gets screwed by them as badly as I have.

I took my car in for an iontake manifold gasket plug which had come out. They charged me $140 for just putting the $20 part in...They gave me a litany of items I needed done, and I decline all including the oil change.I sent someone to pick up the car and they charged for the oil change. They would not release the car without paying this additional which I had declined over voice mail (I have voicemail transcripts of my call). This is a shady business practice and I would never go to them again.Pursuing legal options on the oil change which was not agreed to.

Their Misdiagnosis Costs Me Money! They Didn't Get My Permission Before Doing The Work!Took the car in for a repair, they didn't diagnose the reason correctly but said there was something else needed and charged me for that. The original problem still existed then finally the mechanic listened to it and correctly diagnosed it. They did the work before getting permission. And they didn't tell me that the repair was not critical to the car working fine. Beware. G2 adds extra things to your bill WITHOUT approval from the car owner.

The first experience was great , thought nice to have a car auto repair close to the house. They were fast with great accommodating service. The bill was less than dealership. But, less than a month later, my oil light continue to come on, second visit. We were under the assumption that was apart on the repairs the 1st time, obvious it was not, paid another cost. Less than another month later, same problem, called talked to owner. He gave me his personal cell to accommodate my hours, I called later that evening when I left work , no answer, so I texted. "I was still having the same problems we spoke about early and I'd see him in the"; he replied via text. I was at the shop bright and early the follow morning. I heard him talking to the young lady sits in the front, not once did he come out an acknowledge me. I had to tell her that he said he would get me a loaner, she walked me to enterprise car rental. I got the rental, went work and wait for him call to explain the reason why my car was still not working properly. I got a phone call from Gary the owner asking who call this number, I told him was me, you have my car. He replied that he sent a text about the repairs but went on the explain verbally. I told him that I'd have to talk over the addition, that's right additional repairs with my spouse, I'd get back to him. I replied back less minute to give permission to do the addition work, first by phone to shop/personal cell with no answer, So I texted him the okay. He responded with a thumbs up. Next day , no call from Gary or anyone from the shop, I called no one answered either phone. Friday comes, my husband start to inquire about time on the car. In his confusion, he tells him the car was ready on Wednesday the same day I drop the off. I was not told nor got a call or text, but however got a text on said Friday about his shop trying get in contact with multiple times, this is call the "CYA(cover your ass) text". No such thing, I only have one phone with one line , no land line. We had a huge disagreement over the cost on the rental days, in the he made me responsible for the rental charge for his and his shop miscommunication. This is the THIRD time bringing my car to them, this is the superb customer service I got. Terrible experience !!!! For the total price that I paid for the total times in a matter on months, which actually came out to be more than the dealership, I should have stayed at the dealers. Never again will I give a small business auto repair shop any business anymore, because at some point the shady trait come out!A

I m a delivery driver who delivers to this shop fairly often dropping parts, well Tuesday April 23rd, I had a tire go out on me as I was pulling in (thankfully). These guys, without hesitation, put my car on a jack, dismounted my tire, found a broken drill bit in it that had caused my tire to go down, and my driving had caused the sidewall to blow out. These guys not only found this for me, they also dug out a fitting, fairly new tire to mount, balance, and remount for me. These guys did such a blessing for me, and I m so so thankful. I wish I had gotten the tech s names to thank all of you by name, but just know it meant so much to me as a 20 year old kid really struggling right now. Thank you!

I did not receive a COMPLETE diagnosis to make a decision upfront . In addition my car was Mis-diagnosed . I ended up spending 8,263 TOTAL. (6,900 then 745 then 1263 ). After 3 weeks, G2 had to consult with another company to help them make the final diagnosis after telling me it was the Fly Wheel, they said it s the Catalytic Converter. Each time the amount kept increasing. I had to return the car to G2 3 times in 48 hours. They had the car for 3 weeks trying to make the correct diagnosis. I m posting this to help other customers. This was a costly learning experience for me.

The check engine light came on in my car on Dec 23, 2017. We took it to a local shop and had the engine codes pulled. We were told that they pulled multiple codes, two of which were P0016 and P0017 (camshaft/crankshaft correlation errors). At this point we were hoping for the best and decided to take it into G2 Automotive to get an expert opinion. On Dec 26, 2017, we brought my car in and spoke to Gary (owner) about the issue. We expressed that we had NO interest in fixing the car if it ended up being related to the camshaft/crankshaft as this is a very expensive (worth more than the car) fix. After the mechanics inspected the car we were ASSURED by Gary that the underlying issue was the intake manifold and that my year model car was past the camshaft/crankshaft issue, therefor that was not a worry. He quoted us $1500 to replace the intake manifold and assured the car would be fixed after that.Since we now thought we were in the clear of any camshaft/crankshaft related problems, we express concerns with other smaller issues on the car such as, a burnt smell every now and then, filters, and a front parking light being burnt out (Also issues we would not have addressed had we know the true problem with the car from the start). Gary agreed to fix the addressed issues.Later, when we called to check on the status of the car, we were told that the "burnt smell" was due to a bad vacuum pump. We agreed to have this fixed for the quoted $250 because, again, we were under the impression the car would be fixed by the intake manifold replacement. When we picked the car up the quoted prices for the issues were not the prices on the invoice. The intake manifold was now $1756.95 and the vacuum pump was $554.67. Quoted prices should be exactly as quoted. The engine light was off when we picked the car up later that day. The next morning December 27th the engine light came on during my drive to work. We informed Gary and he said to bring the car back, that it may be due to a hard code that didn't clear. We brought the car back and picked it up again on Dec 29th. We were told that they checked everything again and saw no issues. On January 2 the engine light came on again. Gary said that it could be positive news that the light took longer to come back on, and that the adjustments made the previous time might have help. (Unaware of what "adjustments" he was speaking of since "hard codes" were all that were mentioned). We brought the car in on January 5th, and on January 9th Gary called to let me know that after further inspection the balance shaft (directly related to the cam shaft) was the reason the engine light was still on. Gary said that he had taken the car to RBM to be looked at and they confirmed the balance shaft was the issue. Gary insisted that he had made the correct efforts to fix the car, and that the intake manifold HAD to be replaced in order to find the balance shaft issue. We called RBM (who had no record of my car being brought in) to confirm that the intake needed to be replaced to find the balance shaft issue. The RBM mechanic confirmed that the intake and the balance shaft were completely UNRELATED. The balance shaft issue COULD be found WITHOUT replacing the intake manifold.I am now out $2366.77 (for the intake manifold and parts that would not have been replaced had we know the CORRECT issue) AND my car will now need the balance shaft replaced, which is what we were trying to avoid in the first place. We called Gary and expressed that we know we were mislead after researching and speaking to RBM ourselves. He told me that the mechanic I spoke to was lying to me (a mechanic from the same shop he consulted about my car issues, was a liar). We did reach out two separate times in hopes of resolving this issue before moving forward with other actions, but Gary did not offer any type of solution. He only insisted that he was correct. We will obviously never be going back.
