Good experience with them. They replaced my 2002 Eurovan Weekender transmission which is nearly impossible to find anyone to do anymore because no one wants to work on them and the general lack of available parts. It's the only shop I found on the East coast who would do the work...thank youService: TransmissionService: Transmission

Had my 2003 VW Eurovan Transmission completely rebuilt, would like to report it is still running well with no issues after 1 year and 8k miles. After reading some of the reviews here decided it is important to report success, since most of us only take time to report bad experiences. We want those doing good work to stay in business.

Absolutely terrible do not buy and dont trust them. They sent a email saying tans was done and shipped.. We never got it so I called, they told me the one we sent was so bad they could not rebuild and sorry about the email that was sent. After finally getting one it did not work correctly, had to take back out of van and send back to them. They said a solenoid was bad, I question that but nine the less they sent it back and I had to pay the shipping TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE !! It was never right why did I have to pay shipping.. Save your self the trouble, they dont communicate and they will RIP YOU OFF !!

Purchased a transmission part from them which didn't work. They told us that our transmission need a full rebuild and to send it in. Sent in vehicle transmission for repair, got transmission back 1 month later with leaks and it still does not work properly. Sent transmission back under warranty and got it back in another month and STILL does not work, same issues. The made us pay for parts and shipping even after they failed to fix the transmission the first time. Now they will not respond to any of our phone calls or emails and we are stuck with a $6000 dead transmission plus the $3000 we have spent with them to attempt to get the original unit repaired. Wish I would have looked at the BBB first regarding this company. Buyer beware. Thinking of a lawsuit for damages.

Just plain horrible experience. Purchased a reman valve body and no mention that would also have to pay a $300.00 core charge 3 days after I paid and was wondering why still did not ship. Had to contact and call them 3 times before they told me this. What a joke. Then on top of that the reman valve body had a bad solenoid and would not work so I had to take my old one out and put it in the reman one and now works after loosing 4 hrs labor chasing their faulty valve body. Next I ship old one back and they say it came in damaged and won't refund my core deposit of $300.00. Well no I have a claim filled with Paypal and BBB. Best I can say is stay far away. Very unprofessional and rude!!

Very disappointed with the quality of work provided. I took my Beetle here because of the German car experience. Clearly, the owners do not have German mechanics, as the work done was some of the worst I have ever seen. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the owners were nice people and the trans does work (for how long, I'm worried,,,) Take inventory of every item on your car that is near the transmission if you let them work on it. I was missing the wheel lock nut adaptor, engine cover studs, brackets tie wrapped together, link arm bolt completely missing, electrical wiring and battery covers completely mashed together, trans was leaking - discovered they overfilled the trans by at least 1.5 L of fluid. If I didn't work on my own cars, I would have been back to this shop for warranty items several times, but now I won't let them near any of my cars. Very disappointed I had to fix such poor quality.

This place is fabulous. They are very knowledgeable and kind. They are honest and explain everything. The work was done timely and correct. I would drive to use them over places closer to me. (Misty Cross)

very bad. Had transmisission rebuilt ther and while driveing it home the very same day it just quit pulling. I had it towed back (1 hour away) and they said it fixed it. I picked it up a few days later. This time it made it back to my house house but quit pulling rite as i was going into my driveway. Had it towed back again. This time i was told by they european hubert guy that they where going to swap the entire transmission for another one. This time the car actually made it home but after 5000 miles it started makeing a noise so loud that my wife was affraid to drive it. HAD it towed back a third time ( 1hour away) He told me it couldnt be fixe. I demanded my money back so i could take it to ammco. I was told he would see me in court first. VERY RUDE. Doesnt stand Behind Warranty.

Absolutely aweful took my car to aamco to have a remanufactured transmission put in they ordered it from European transmissions aamco put the transmission in programmed it and it ran fine till the warranty a month passed the warranty and it completely failed now I have a $5,450.20 transmission that is practically trash now and they are refusing to fix it or reimburse me and aamco isn't liable because they didn't rebuild it so now I'm done for because aamco is saying even with me getting a discount from them it's going to cost me $3000 more to get my car running does anyone know a lawyer willing to put these scammers out of business I'm going to own this place after I get done with them
