A MUST stop! Found this little hidden gem on our way up to Macon for the Cherry Blossom Festival. The employees here are the kindest people, super sweet to our little boy. From entering to leaving, everyone was super happy. The bathrooms were super clean and smelled amazing. Nice large selection of snacks, lunch items, jerky, sausage, steak, and everything in between. This is on our must stop when traveling this way.

Stopped by on the way home from vacation and got some bacon, jowl and sausages. Bacon and jowl tasted old and sour and we had to throw it out. Sausage was ok, but nothing to brag about. Waste of $50. Disappointing!

Zucchini boats filled with sausage and bacon wrapped. Stuffed portobello caps. Bacon wrapped pork filets. I brought an air fryer with me on the truck. A portable grill would have been preferable to cook the items I purchased, or go to a truck stop for another hotdog. Not a difficult decision. If you can't find an item in this establishment, it most likely does not exist. Deli / meat section is one of the best I've seen. Entire staff was courteous, friendly, and informative. No complaints whatsoever.Thank you!

I have been eating Stripling s sausage more years than I can remember as do many of my friends and family. Was driving from Florida to North Carolina, saw a wooden building on the north side of the highway between Albany and Cordele with SAUSAGE on the end of the building in large letters, said to self they must be proud of their sausage, hit the brakes, turned around, and the rest is history. I m 86 now, have known many of the butchers personally, and just ordered some more. Have made many 300+ mile round trips just to get it and see the people. Miss seeing the people and hauling it to friends in $300-400 batches. One of life s blessings.

Striplings is an experience one simply has be there to understand. Been coming here many years. My truck simply will not pass this place. On the rare occasion, perhaps Sunday evening that they have been closed when I go by, it just messes my trip up.These folks tout their sausage and it us wonderful. The best I have ever had. Patties (not my preference), links, fresh or smoked, are all good. I cannot do their hot sausage but to each his own. I believe they raise and process all their hogs. Sausage is whole hog, no prime parts are removed.Their steaks are awesome. Not cheap, but worth yhe price. Simply the best steaks I have ever purchased for cooking at home. Finally, the people are simply wonderful. Back to front people are simply wonderful and helpful. When you try the sausage you will want a bunch. You can mail order but if you going to store and want a lot, call ahead and your order will be ready. I usually get several kinds, wrapped in paper then plastic, ready for the freezer. They do not mind special orders. There are a couple places nearby with good sausage and meats but they are simply not as good.Give Striplings a try. You will not be disappointed.

Was visiting friends in Cordele and stopped by to get some steaks and sausages, while I was there I met the most friendly helpful worker in the butcher(wish I would of got his name) he went out of his way to help me, it was amazing, I travel a lot to and don t see that often. He made me feel like there was still hope for the workers of America to be kind, great feeling. Also the meat and sausages were well worth going back for a visit, thank you Striplings.

I understand the Hwy 300 location is constantly looking for help therefore lowering the quality of employees..but as a weekly customer, I do not want to hear employees talking about punching someone in the f-ing face while checking out at the register. And I also don t appreciate being called a little fella by the cashier. Management, please do better with the hiring process and screening employees.

Striplings has the fresh jerky that you ask for at the register. The sausage and black pepper bacon is amazing. We always stop when we go by for those items plus I quick bite to eat.... BBQ sandwich, sausage dog, chicken pot pie, etc. This place is awesome. I also like shopping for other home deco items. The only items that I haven't found too good are the cakes. I haven't found one that I just love. However, that's the only thing that I found that I haven't been impressed with.

Pricy. Nice place with a good selection of meats. The rest of the store is "country gimmicky". Good sausage. They ship as well. The lunch rack is tasty and fairly priced. Had gas and standard C store items. Mask preferred but not required.

I drive trucks for a living and would stop there regularly to grab a lunch plate. I noticed that they add a lot of rice or potatoes but very very small servings of meat. I bought the Sheppard pie and there was no meat only potatoes and cheese. The next day I bought the cube steak dinner to find our I only had 3 pics of meat the size of checkers hidden under the gravy. Plus their prices are to high and the staff is rude

A must-stop spot when traveling down south to visit my mom. I love their breakfast! Love the grit bowls, sausage, and biscuits. It's a bit overpriced though.

Love the smell outside. They have hit boiled and cold boiled peanuts in stand outside. $10 gallon bag. Breakfast biscuits end about 10am. Prices are reasonable. Their mostly friendly. Business is busy. Gas kinda high. Cool place inside. Big parking lot and lots of gas pumps.

I've grown up in an area that's about 15 minutes from Stripling's, so I've eaten a lot of their sausage dogs...from the time I was about 13 or 14 I would stop in if in the area and get one of their tasty, tasty, freshly-cooked sausage. The animals they tend to for getting the sausage eat organic things. If you ask them what's in their sausage, you'll get a short list of ingredients that are natural, not processed things and chemicals and additives, or anything manufactured. The employees are very nice, although it is an establishment that does not embrace diversity in the employee roster. If I had one thing to change about this place is that. I'm 36 now and buy a sausage dog EVERY TIME I'M IN THERE, as I have been for the past 23 years. I keep seeing reviews of their jerky, so I MUST try some of it, and when I do, I'm going to rave about that as well. If you haven't gone to Stripling's, do your mouth and favor and go down and get one of those famous dogs. Trust me...you'll thank me.

Popular with people driving by, the locals and workers. Known for their fresh meats. I often stop in for sausage or brautwurst. They have homemade cakes, general store items and frozen foods. They have sandwiches like a chicken biscuit, pork bbq and sausage roll. They use all their own fresh meats for the sandwiches. They have some fresh vegetables and gifts. They sell t-shirts with their logo on the back. They sell gas and beef jerky and a cup of coffee. It's worth stopping in and checking them out.

The aroma of hand-made sausages filled the store! With Easter coming up in April, I'd better get some quick! Great selections of locally made items! I wish I could take the whole store home with me!

Vacationed on Lake Blackshear and stopped in for groceries. Great selection of food & fresh cut meat in the butcher shop. There is a huge selection of spices and condiments, some I have never seen before. People were friendly and helpful. What a great place to shop!

Striplings has a wide selection and very well thought out store design. I Would rate 5 stars if it wasn t for the very unfriendly staff. Always grumpy and mad at the world. Other reviews say very friendly staff.. do not let them fool you ...

Went Striplings on Hwy 300 this morning and the quality of service has definitely decreased. Tried to buy med sausages and the salesperson said he could not tell the medium sausage from the mild one. Wanted three hogheads and they were very hairy. Until last year they were fine. This year and last year they are terribleAfte over 40 years of shopping at Striplings the service is awful. The meat market personnel service is awful. I have been defending this store forever.

Always clean and there's a wide variety of food and drink to pick from, not to mention there's a gas station there as well. The ladies look stressed out sometimes, other than that good stopping point for souvenirs or bathroom break.

Best pan sausage I ve ever had. Not overly-fatty like the stuff you find in the grocery store. Great flavor and texture. I don t eat anything else.
