Crazy place. Part meat market, grocery store and taxidermy museum.They have fuel, propane and the usual convenience store items. The meat market is stocked with nice looking steaks and different kinds of sausages. Boiled peanuts warming in a couple pots, homemade goodies in decorative jars, pecans, candy, etc.They advertise beef jerky and that usually makes a nice gift but it is in large containers and is supposed to be pulled out by them.....looked dried out.

I run the boiled peanut stand for hardy farms, I go in several times a day to use the restrooms or get something to eat or drink,this is one of the cleanest places I have been in. Super nice and friendly staff. Also the best bacon I've ever had. If I could give them 20 stars I would. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Looking forward to stopping by tomorrow. Their sausage is delicious and the store has an amazing array of sauce, jams, brittle and other yummy stuff. Don't miss this stop. And ya better have a cooler!!

I love this stop along the road! They have so many really tasty things to eat. Plus, you can gas up as a bonus. I love to pick up a sausage dog on my way through, though they were out by the time I arrived today. Also some fantastic desserts. I highly recommend you stop by during your travels.

I wish we had this store where I live. They have meat, jelly, spices, sauces, candy etc. The steak we got Saturday was one of the best steaks I have ever had! Will definitely be back!

First time. We decided to tried some of the cooked sausage Togo. Excellent. We sure wish we tried them in the parking lot. They were excellent. We would have purchased 20 lbs. The staff was friendly and attentive. Wish they would have had fountain soda. Keep up the good work. Thanks

We travel to Valdosta almost monthly and we ALWAYS make a stop at this gas station. They have the cleanest restrooms, friendly staff, a wide variety of food and drinks, and if you haven t gotten bacon from the butcher area.. you re missing out! Love this place.

Always have to stop here when I'm in the area! Authentic southern stuff. The country ham products and the bakery are the best. Pecan pie and caramel cake. Southern cured bacon and hot boiled peanuts. Looking for a taste of the south, you can find it here!

Absolutely love this place. There meat department is the best ever. Their prices are right in line with anyone else. They also have something cooking for all meals, usually in the way of some sort of sausage dog, chicken sandwich or the likes. But always delicious!

I had the fortune of stopping by this store when I did an auto show in Georgia. I happened by this store and fell in love, Bubba paked me up with 60 pounds of meat on ice and made my home to Florida, since then I have ordered and shipped to my home in Sarasota and let me tell you, by far the best quality meat I have ever eaten. Thank you SL for the kind and friendly service and the amazing food you make. I tell everyone I know about you .

I have never personally been to the SL Sausage Company, my father in law brings sausage to Florida for our family, and we LOVE it! Thank You for making such delicious sausage!

Over the past year we have spent close to $500 in this store. The products are excellent and we usually get good service. We stopped in last night close to closing time to grab some snacks for dinner. As we shopped we overheard the cashier scold her coworker saying, "The sign says we close at 7 .....that means we walk out of here at 7 so not at 10 till 7". She even refused to speak to us as we checked out. I reported this incident to the manager who replied, " She usually does a good job. I don't know what was wrong with her last night but I'll speak with her". I also told him that that was our last visit to his store.

Store doesn't honor the prices labeled on merchandise. I picked out a jar of honey, sticker said $8.99 I checked several and were all marked $8.99.The cashier said this price is incorrect and I can't sell it to you for that. I explained there were several priced the same. Cashier wouldn't sell me the marked price said it was a mistake.I'll take my business elsewhere.

Huge variety of specialty items such as preserves, jellies, sauces, syrups, ...and a great butcher shop!!! Try the fresh link sausage and the smoked pork chops; cut to your specifications!!! DELICIOUS

We love visiting Salt Lick Sausage. Whenever we travel to South Georgia we make a point of driving by Cordele so we can load up our freezer for a few months. If you go make sure you get some of the beef jerkey at the register. It's a wonderful driving snack.

Great variety of sausages and meat cuts. Had the pork loin sandwich and took a bag of jerky to boot.First time here but I'll come with cooler next time I'm headed northbound on the FL/GA parkway.

People are speak here and they have a good butcher. I love their Hot Sausage, and often buy steaks, seasonings, sauces, and vegetables here.

3/23/17: I was passing by on my way home. I was very pleased with the friendly safe! Michelle was very sweet & even chases me down ro return my sunglasss. You don't dons people like that this day & time! Thanks Michelle! I'll be stopping by everything I'm in town!

At one time, it was hard not to draw comparisons to striplings, which is across the road. Now, I believe salt lick has passed striplings in quality and flavor of their sausages. Between the flavor and the higher quality casings, there is no comparison.

The best sausage I've ever tasted. Once you get used to it, you can't eat any other kind. Its' even better than the sausage they sell at "the place down the road", and that sausage is pretty damn good.

Salt Lick Sausage Company is always one of our stops when we go visit our daughter in the lower part of the state. The always have the best meats and are so friendly.

I come out here every 6 months when I'm down for work. Their meat selection is amazing. Always end up with $70+ on meat everytime.
