I took my 2012 infiniti g37 here for a standard l tune-up, to replace my air filter and install a new battery that I provided. They charged me over $700. When I picked my car up, not only had the new battery not been installed, but I was told I had an engine cover gasket leak, and my engine light came on shortly after leaving the shop. I also began to smell oil while driving. When I dropped my car off there was no engine light, smell of oil, or any other evidence of a leak where my car is parked at home. When I called for a quote on the gasket leak I was told it would cost $1,100 dollars!! They even refused to provide a written quote. This was a major red flag to me. I then took it to a friend who looked at it and noticed a hose had likely been cracked poorly sleeved during the tune up. Parts to fix that & the engine cover gasket only costs me about $40 at autozone and a couple hundred in labor elsewhere. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! They gauge you on parts and labor and are careless and dishonest with their work!!

Horrible service I have proof they do not service these vehicles my engine blew due to mid fire they cleared codes and i had a special technician take a look at Tom bush BMW dealership they told me my engine was done not even 2 months after I got it out the shop from west automotive these people are a scam and running game on their people do not go here please listen or you will find out the hard way I also reached out to make a report about this place hopefully a investigation starts soon

Amazing service, always!! I've been taking several of my vehicles to West Auto for over 5 years, never disappointed. Mechanics are very thorough, and always very honest. Great equipment. This is not a gigantic shop, so they know exactly who every customer and vehicle is. It's very clear that the owner Dave truly loves automobiles- he takes his time with every step, notices everything, gives free advice and truly wants your vehicle running in top condition when you return to the wheel. Extremely unprofessional and unapologetic about it. Apparently only one person in the whole establishment knows how to answser the business phone according to the owner. So if she is not there then they do not go to the front to answer it AT ALL(Even if she leaves hours before closing time for personal reasons). They had my car for 3 days and still couldn't figure out why my DriveTrain light was coming on. I came all the way from Dacula to Conyers on a coworkers recommendation to this place. I could have gone down the street to anybody if I wanted this type of service and to pay $900 for just some front brake pads that took 3 days to do. And they must charge more than $100 an hour for labor because they didn't even start until after 8am and was done by 9:30am yet still charged me $200 for labor. I asked for a print out of the charges and was told they couldn't give it to me until after I paid. But the kicker was as soon as I drove off, my check engine light started coming on (which was not the case when I first dropped it off). So after wasting time with them I still ended up at the BMW dealership for service.smh.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

Ever since I had my BMW 740li I've been taking it to West automotive to get it repaired the main mechanic Dave or the ownerHe is very reliable good prices better that the dealership when he fix your problem it stay fixI highly recommend West automotive

West Automotive is the best, Dave have your car back on the road and not over changing you like other shops or the dealerships and using OEM parts. It s hard for me to trust what the dealership about what I may need for my car, but Dave is honest about these things. I bought my 2019 pro master here. I asked him if he worked on this type of vehicle, he said yes I needed brakes checked all the way around $1500 later and exactly 12 months later my brake light came on charge me an additional $700 to do the rear maybe their BMW brakes or Ferrari brakes I don t know, but he does not warranty anything that s what he told me. Be aware of the saying ( I will give you a price when it s all done ).

Needed a oil change yesterday and couldn t schedule with BMW, decided to stay local. The customer service from the time I walked in, until completion of the lil change was great! OEM products used, comparable prices dealer prices I ll definitely return for future services.Great job West Automotive!!Service: Oil change

So Far So Great, I love how fast they work on my cars they always have my cars in and out. And the problem has always been diagnosed and fix the first time. and they keep me updated on the status of my vehicle, they are very professional. I ll recommend them to people every time.

I have taken my X5 to Dave several times he had never been wrong on his diagnosis. He takes great pride in his work and he has the best Mechanic team. I have never left disappointed. If you have a BMW, Mercedes,Mini Cooper, Camaro or any type car West Automotive should become you shop for life! Customer Service is on point when you come through the door. Very clean and professional! I am glad I was referred West Automotive! Every experience has been a great one!

Moving here from Colorado I had an amazing mechanic. So when I arrived here in Georgia I was on a mission to find someone equally amazing to my mechanic in Colorado. I succeeded.Everyone at West Automotive is Amazing! Dave is honest; upfront and Tesha you rock, love the family atmosphere. They have taken care of all my vehicles as well as my relatives and friends. I'm that person who reads the manuals on every vehicle i have as well as how to do the repairs myself. Being that I have done some repairs myself I now that it is a process of elimination when it comes to repairing cars as well as other things. They truly are the car doctors. I likened them to practicing mechanical medicine. Thank you for all your amazing work.

I have been dealing with Marc for many years and he has always taken care of me. If you want an HONEST and RELIABLE place to take your car, they are well worth the trip. If I ever moved out of Georgia, I would still make a trip down to get work done from West Automotive. I have sent two of my friends here with their cars (BMW & Lexus) and they both came back and told me about how satisfied that they were with their experience. I would recommend everyone to just stop in and give them a try. Marc is definitely the only person that can take care of my car!

after 2 long days at one mechanic's shop of trying to figure out why my engine light was on when nothing else was wrong with the car, I finally got frustrated and took my car to my friends house and she suggested that I go to West Automotive. Well these guys worked hard and after a couple of days of trying to figure out what was going on they found that it was the other mechanic's fault to begin with that had spliced the wires of the Cam sensor and had flipped the wires. These guys came through for me and they only billed me for only 1 hour of labor after spending so many hours on it. I am absolutely grateful to them and I highly recommend them to any one

I took my car to West Automotive to have my car looked at paid for a Diagnostics which was NOT CORRECT. I got a second and third opinion elsewhere for 1/2 the price. I called the next day to find out exactly how did they determine that my car needed motor mounts but he wasn't available so I left a message for him to return my phone call however never received a phone call. Drop my car off at 8:30am still wasn't ready at 4:30pm. Smh.

Extremely dissatisfied with west automotive, drove my BMW there for a diagnostic after receiving multiple misfires , they had my car for over a week without working on it , every day I called for an update they claimed they would be working on it tomorrow. After a week I finally received a call asking me what did I do to my car because I quote he never worked on a car for 2 days and couldn t figure out the problem then tells me I have to pay an additional 300 to check if there s a problem with my oil separator but he s not sure if that s the problem. Told him no thanks and he charged me 200 for the diagnostic and for the time of him changing a sensor which he removed anyway because it didn t fix anything. After a long google search I decided to try changing my vanos solenoid. BOOM problem fixed, with my very intermediate knowledge of cars. Shameful practices at this business. Slow service, rude, and unprofessional would not recommend!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Had a great experience hereIt s closer than going to bmw dealerThere s food close by so you don t have to worry while waiting for your carAnd they were pretty fast tooI like that the mechanics wear mask when they went into the car. And they ask a lot of questions to find out exactly what s wrong with the car kinda like going to the doctorUnlike the dealer who was just guessing and adding partsDefinitely a new customer at this shopThank you West Automotive for getting me rolling again

Went in for an oil change on my BMW. First time there, great folks, friendly, knowledgeable. Will be using from now on. Had few questions, looked over my issues, gave good advice. Can tell they're in it for the long term.

I will tell you that if you want the best treatment to your automobile then you will go here. Marc is the best! He will take the time to go over everything with you about your car. Trust me you will have no surprises. If you are a fanatic like I am about perfection have no worries. There will not be one scratch left on your vehicle or wheels. If you don't care about your car then you would never notice these things. However, if you are like me only the best will work all the time. West Automotive is the best! Don't have regrets afterwards! Go there first and it will be your last stop!

They took great care of my 2011 Jaguar XF. My car sat at another repair place for 4 days and they never touched it. I called West Ave Auto. They told me to have it towed there and they fixed the car the next day after the part they ordered arrived. I just referred them 2 new customers. Will be back again if needed.

I have a bmw 535i and i had a bad overheating issue. I took it to 3 different shops but still was overheating on me. I was referred to west auto because i was told that the owner Maze was an expert with bmws from NY. When i went there the owner was great he made me understand what the problem was and why it happened. I must say it was a stress free experience and i would recommend anyone with car trouble to head over to West Auto for your car needs.

Had a major car issue .I will never ever take my cars to any one else he personally worked on my lexus after 2 other mechanic could not figure out the problem i dropped 900 dollars at mighty muffler on hwy 138 beside chick fila. After 4.5 hours on my car they finally said oh your number6 cylinder is miss firing i myself had just had a engine check done on the car and knew that was the issue .West auto went in deeper and came out and told me it was the freaking injector .They got one replaced it and now it runs like brand new 1 So people take all your cars to him .And the price they first quoted well he cut it in halfThanks again for everything. Your the best I've been in conyers since 1986 and have been trying to find a honest mechanic. Thxs again Don Adams

Took my car to NTB for a few problems and long story short after a week they had done more harm than good and still couldn't fix it. Brought to West Automotive and took them two business days to have me up and running. Great service! God bless you all!

I have taken my car to many places, but West Automotive stands above the rest. They have top-notch service, they're honest and reliable. They have taken care of both my Durango and my Camaro. I will not go anywhere else!

I personally enjoy working on my vehicle, but whenever I run into a problem, I can always count on West Auto to figure out the issue and treat me fairly in cost. They are dedicated and hard workers that will treat your car like it s their own.

Worst car shop ever. Dropped my car off yesterday night. I called them at 8am to ask them to take a look at my car to see what s wrong, they told me they will call me when they look at it, I called them 3 times thru out the day to see what s going on, if they looked at it yet. After no answers I go to the shop at 5pm, and they tell me they have had to many cars all day after telling me they would look at it before Closing. I asked to speak to the mechanic, the girl up front told me he was on the phone, after over an hour of waiting for him, he never came. Another customer waiting for her car, told us she just came in to have her car looked at, and they looked at it right away. Now I have to pay to have my car towed to another shop

I am so impressed with their diagnostic skills. Their workmanship is impeccable and very knowledgeable in all vehicles, especially imports. Highly recommended to anyone looking to have your vehicle serviced for maintenance or repairs.

Always a pleasure taken My Mercedes there for work to be done also my BMW. customer service is one in a million you cannot ask for no better the mechanics there are very knowledgeable of what they're doing I will always be a loyal customer
