I've been dealing with these guys over 15yrs and they never seemed to let me down if you ever have a problem with your vehicles Rob's performance is the place to go!! Knowledgeable employees and Great mechanics Skylar at the front desk outstanding.. the paint and body crew does awesome work # Don't say I didn't tell you!!! This is truly the one stop shop for your vehicles. Keep up the good work Rob's performance paint and Body shop And Especially all you old skool car junkies this the spot..

I was worried there was something wrong with my transmission after a few long days of driving . My coworker recommended I take it here. Rob and receptionist are really really nice! He explained all the tests/diagnostics he ran and I had no issues. Very very nice people, will be coming back.

I waited twice on this company for weeks. Each time I call receptionist says we 3 weeks out I'll take your information and when u call back in 3 was we will get you in. Everything I call back in 3wks she take my info and say I'll have Rob contact u or I will call u back to let you know what Robs says about when to bring it. Each time I never here from them. I have 79 trans am that needs engine work and some pans replaced and whatever it takes to get it running perfect. I own 3 businesses and have already spent over 10k buying nothing but the best parts. I also had a 82 c10 I wanted done next. I'm going to take it all the way to fayetteville ga now. The speed shop there has good customer service and their car was displayed at Summit racing. They also have better reviews. I will post there name once they do a good job

I run a Turo fleet and Rob s team takes care of all the maintenance. As well as on my personal vehicles unless they are under dealer warranty.Been using for a few years , my first trip was to have a some modifications done to a 96 Jeep Cherokee, for which they did and excellent job with the lift kit, wheel upgrades, and some tech mods I wanted.

The front desk personnel are friendly. The service was great. This was my second repair here with the first repair fast and reasonable. This second was diagnosed and done very quickly and I was informed throughout the service. Very pleased with them and scheduling our truck repair there now.

Not many can work efficiently and predictably on a refurbished 1986 Toyota MR2. I went in for a simple break job, which was done well, and ended up with Rob getting my air conditioning working after going two years without it. I expected it would be costly and had not pursued it. He thought otherwise and expected a leak. He converted it over from Freon and found the leak. It has been working great for a couple months. I was impressed by his friendly manner and competence and will return without hesitation.Services: Brakes, Air conditioning

These guys were great to me. I was driving home and my check engine light started blinking and my car started to lose power. They identified the issue very quickly on a Friday afternoon and told me I was safe to drive home without damaging my car. I offered to pay for they're help, but they said there was no charge. Great service... Thanks so much!

Whatever they tell you, expect the opposite. Terrible communication, service is ok whenever you get it (keep yourself expectations low), and they are really good at stringing you along and making you believe the lies that they are working on your car. They even made me pay a deposit for $3700+ for the parts on the job that they were going to do only to realize that they gave me the wrong transmission! Of course it s been a trip to hell and back for both myself and the new mechanic to get Rob to fix this with nothing being done about it to this date. It s always the item is on its way or the delivery guy isn t responding to our calls today or whatever new excuse they have that day. If you need your car fixed, go somewhere else!Services: Transmission, Engine repair

This service shop is just that....real service. This team of mechanics is hands down, the best of the best. Honest, prompt and reliable are the only experiences you will receive at this fine establishment. This review is long overdue as I've been using this shop for 6+ years. Before you go anywhere- give this place a shot. You will be forever grateful you found an "honest mechanic". (Yes, those 2 words still go together). A big thank you to Rob's Performance!

I take all my vehicles here. Rob's Performance has skilled mechanics, fair pricing, great customer service, and genuine concern about what they do. I have been a loyal customer for about 4 years now. I am glad I found a great shop that I can count on!

I knew who to call after getting rear ended at the beach.... Rob and Tim fixed me up in no time and handled everything with my insurance company. In less than a week I was driving my car and it had no evidence of having been rear ended. They were friendly and sent me a text message update on a regular basis on the status of my repair. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs body work or customizations done. Thank you guys for helping me get back on the road.

I ve left a review for this shop in the past- but I was blown away yet again with the service I received from Rob and his great staff.Robs Performance has been taking care of my personal vehicles and my companies fleet going on 8 years. Even though I ve moved away from the Covington area, you d never catch me taking my vehicles anywhere else for repair. Once you find a mechanic you can trust, you don t stray even if they re more than an hours drive away.I can t imagine this place is the cheapest around, but I know they re fairly priced and it s the peace of mind knowing it s fixed right the first time.Can t thank y all for everything you ve done to keep us on the road safely.-Jonathan

They went of the rails. Robs did good work for me in the past. This is not about their work but the customer service. When I brought my car down recently I was greeted by Tim. I told him what was wrong with the car and while I was talking to him he had the look on his face like he didn't want to work on my car (Which would have been fine if he would have told me straight up without wasting my time). So I took my car down there on a Friday. Fast forward to WEDNESDAY and I CALLED to check on my car. He told me what was wrong with it and that he looked at it on SATURDAY. He claimed they were working on getting a bill together and that he would call me the next day. Later on the next afternoon I called and he tried to brush me off AGAIN. I stopped him mid sentence and told him i'm picking up my car. He had no problem with that. He did not try to find out why or make any attempt to keep the customer (Me). Seven days my car sat at that shop. I took it to another company and got it done immediately at a CHEAP price. Rob's poor customer service turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I would not recommend this place until they get their attitudes and customer service corrected.

Great mechanic/body shop. They can do anything you need. Custom rat rods or classic hot rods or just a quick oil change and rotate. Very detailed oriented and they try to get you in and out as quick as possible. Prices are very competitive and work is very meticulous to make sure the work is performed to your satisfaction! Will return here again soon.

We really appreciated the speedy service you have us. Our air conditioning went out on our Lincoln MKT within a couple hours the job was completed. But we had an issue with the part we ordered from Amazon. The bearings was bad, Rob called up a few connections and the next morning we was rolling in ice cold A/C. Thank you for taking the time away from your vacation to accommodate us. We want you and your staff to know a Pat on the back isn't enough. We Salute You! I posted a Distress call to my Conyers Facebook friends looking for an honest shop to help a young customer having overheating problems in the area (I'm a $200 tow away) and was IMMEDIATELY referred to Robs Performance by at least 2 separate reliable professional people. When I called i got Nikki and after explaining my situation, she agreed to help my stranded customer. within a half hour they were ON IT! Total top notch professional helpful service. Tanks Rob and Nikki and all the men and women who make up Robs Performance for doing me and my business and my customer a good old fashioned SOLID! I have been taking my cars to Rob's Performance for 8 years. I have recommended them to several friends and family over the years. The service is great Rob and all the mechanics are very knowledgeable and honest. Anyone looking for auto repair and service at its best should go to Rob's Performance.

Been coming to Rob for more than 10 years. He works on my cars, trucks, motorcycle and does a FANTASTIC job! He knows his craft and is fair and gets the work done fast. He's the best!!

Unfortunately after several attempts I was not able to get my truck worked on at Rob's. Tried for a month , made several appointments only to show up and be told they could not work on truck bc of different reasons ...From April to end of May I believe it was 3 different appointments, every time once I arrived with truck to drop it off I was as told I would have to reschedule . Wife had to take off work Everytime to go there with me expecting to leave truck there and drop be me back . So needless to say extreme inconvenience ..So my rating is reference to the scheduling department as I never did get my truck worked on there ...Advice would be that if a customer makes an appointment then that time slot should be reserved for them , if something comes up and you cannot work on it that day a call before they show up would be the right thing to do .

A FOR REAL BAND OF ANGELS DISGUISED AS MECHANICS IN OUR DAY AND TIME.DeAndre, I thank God for you telling me about Rob's Performance over 2 years ago. I was won by their honesty and generosity when giving their customers a price before they ever do the work on your vehicle.How about Mr. Tim of Rob's Performance not only is a top of the line mechanic with a golden heart but he donates his time behind the scene delivering household goods to people in need. Mr. Robert (the son) sponsors supplies for the terminal-ill. Rob's Performance entire staff are a band of angels disguised as mechanics in our day and time.I have been a satisfied customer for 2 years and counting on many more years to come by The Grace of God.Take your vehicle to Rob's Performance and get a Heavenly Service from Angels in Disguise. Very rude and bad business they string us along for 8 weeks back and forth for a seal after we paid the issue still wasn t resolved kept getting the run around about fixing what I paid for very rude and I think it is a race thing never experienced such horrible service in my life The front desk makes up lies for him no communication we we re treated like us getting service didn t matter do not use this shop you will be treated poorly and very nasty and rude No they refuse to fix it or give my money back Horrible experience

I brought my vehicle for oil change, tune up, and to diagnose a shake occurring over 50 mph+. I was told it was a bent steel wheel. After the return of my car, the radiator fluid and freeon was low, which I had to fill myself. I thought a tune up came with checking and topping off the fluids. I purchased two steel wheels later (as the first one was bent also), and the car still shakes. $300 dollars later and the problem still isn't fixed. I don't understand how you can return a vehicle to a new customer without test driving the car to make sure the problem has been resolved or at the least properly diagnosed. We go to auto care professionals trusting they know what they are doing, clearly they didn't care enough.

SAY WHAT YOU WILL: ROBS PERFORMANCE GIVES YOU AN HONEST DEAL 100% OF PURE HONEST WORK AND 100% OF SAVING YOU MONEY Not all mechanic shops are honest. Some mechanic shops see the customers as cows to milk and trust me they will milk you dry. Robs Performance on the other hand is not a farmer and he doesn t treat his customers like a livestock of cows to milk. Mr. Robert treat his customers like the consumers they are and he give them all a fair deal 100% of the time.I wish to shine the light on one of the mechanic s name Charles/Chaz. This mechanic is pure honesty at its best. Mr. Charles/Chaz, I don t know when and I don t know where but The Good Lord shall cause great things to come your way because of your honest work that you do in repairing cars. Thank you for the honest repairs you have done on our van.Another Great Mechanic Mr. Luis: Rob Performance is the best ever. Therefore he only have on staff the Very Best. Check out Mr. Luis when you take your car to Robs Performance. I remember taking Lunch to the shop one time and the mechanics are so dedicated in repairing cars in a timely fashion they didn t eat the lunch until closing time. Wow! Mr. Luis and the other mechanics go above and beyond to satisfy the customers. Mr. Luis, hold your head up high. You deserve honor and praise for the honest work you do. PeaceSpecial Honor to Mr. Tim. If you ever go to Robs Performance look for Mr. Tim. He believes in saving the customer money. Mr. Tim is an angel in disguise for real. He will save you money and keep you laughing at how he responds to the high cost of a repair. A car salesman sold me a car that turned out to be a lemon and Rob Performance made it Lemonade.I was deceived by a car salesman who pretended like he put all new parts in a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. The scary thing about it: I drove the car out-to-town and it broke down.It is by the Grace of God that my life was spared on the interstate with my family in the car with me. Oh but, Mr. Robert of Robs Performance took a car that was sold as a lemon and made it lemonade.A guy name Tim inspected my car and told me it could be repaired. I held my breath waiting for Tim to quote me a high price I knew that I couldn t pay. How about God is so Merciful and Kind. Tim quoted me such a low price that I ended up getting other repairs done so I could really enjoy my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am Lemonade.Mr. Robert and Mr. Tim deserve much honor and praise for their awesome way of pulling together to help the customers enjoy their cars after being ripped off by other cold hearted mechanics and car salesmen.If you have a lemon for a car take it to Robs Performance Lemonade Stand

This place is overly expensive brought my mom's car here and she was having it checked out for the ignition and also to replace bulbs in brake light these guys did that but fixed the lights rewired them and charged her 150.00 they also told her she needed a new alternator and that it was gonna cost her $700 dollars to fix 5x the cost of the part with hella labor. This is highway robbery no wonder all those cars just sit on the lot people probably can't afford to pay for the work that was done, talk about your neighbor hood mechanic but what ever happen to reasonable prices I own a Toyota Camry and it cost me at the dealer $297to replace my alternator and that's with labor included, and my mom has a Hyundai Sonata.
