We were traveling from Dalton, Georgia to Augusta, Georgia and our air went out. We called gibbs garage and they told us to come on in. They fix the issue at a reasonable price and a quick speed with great customer service. 100% recommend.

Gibbs Garage is the best! Truly honest and caring people. As a woman it s hard to find folks with integrity in this industry, but I felt completely secure with them in my car. Tamera and Hector walked me through the entire process and were not pushy at all about next steps. I will bring all my cars to Gibbs!

I had a great experience with Gibbs Garage this past week. My daughters 4Runner had valve covers that were leaking on both sides. The owner called to let me know the valve covers were cracked. He found some that worked at a great savings.The work was performed quickly and more importantly it was done properly. I would highly recommend taking your car or truck there for repair or tires.

Just had my Mazda CX3 worked on. Dropped it off yesterday picked it up today! Had a left back wheel bearing go bad! They are awesome from front office to the work bay!

Do not go to Gibbs garage, these guys are terrible. They are old guys and they will have an excuse as to why they can t fix your car and they are mechanics supposedly. I do not recommend their service for anyone to use. I will never go back to themAfter posting this review I received a phone call from the new owner Charlie Baldwin. He wanted to know why was I upset, I explained what happened and he had apologized for what had transpired. For the simple fact that Mr. Baldwin reached out to me I feel like he is someone I can trust and I definitely will be bringing my business back to Gibbs Garage. Thank you Mr. Baldwin

BE AWARE!!! The new owners are rip-off artists! In the past I dealt with Rusty who was pretty fair and honest. I took my vehicle in for a squeaking noise. I got a call from Hector with the diagnosis. That is when I found out this place had new owners. Hector said I need Struts, ball joints (upper & lower), steering rack & pinion, inner & outer tire rod ends. I had recently had my ball joints replaced so I thought that was odd. The recommended work was estimated to be almost $3700. I took my vehicle to another shop and they put it on the rack and invited me into their shop. They confirmed and showed me that I didn't need struts, ball joints (upper & lower), or steering rack & pinion. They said I needed the tire rod ends and a boot for the rack & pinion. I then called and asked for the owner (Charlie) to see if he would go along with the story. To my disappointment he stuck with the script. I paid $130 dollars for the diagnostics charge and I'm thankful to have learned this lesson. I just pray they didn't do anything to my vehicle to try gain future business. The actual work I needed cost less than $600. The guilt had to be getting to Charlie because he called and said he would refund the $130 which he did but it s too late because he has already showed me who they are. I WILL NOT GO BACK AND NEITHER WILL THE SEVERAL PEOPLE I HAVE RECOMMENDED. WE WORK TOO HARD FOR OUR MONEY TO BE RIPPED OFF!!To Charlie, I have peace because I believe in treating people fair and honest. If you check the record I have more positive reviews. However, occasionally there are instances that are so extreme such as yours that warrant trying to notify the public to avoid being ripped off. Your response is strictly an attempt to cover your unethical practices. The mileage on my truck is the very reason you thought you saw an opportunity to take advantage. Never fix what's not broken. I do pray and wish you well in your business. If you can live with it, I can live without it. I did find an honest mechanic who repaired my vehicle and according to your quote I have a $3,100 saving.

Took my Ranger for oil change. While changing oil filter. Technician spilled oil over starter. Which failed 3 days later. Had to order new starter. Pulled starter. Was full of oil.This location under new ownership due to the Gibbs family retiring.Not happy

Excellent customer service and fast I believe I just found my new go to auto shop,after taking it to another shop that couldn't figure out the issue I took it here and it was fixed in no time,it was just a wire issue with the alternator come on simple,the other shop just kept trying to get money out of me

After bringing my truck to Ginn Chevrolet dealer to fix rough idle, they told me it would be two weeks before they could even look at it. I tried Gibbs because it was close by. They where willing to look at it right away and had it diagnosed and repaired in a few days. Very friendly, reasonably priced, and great service.I've found my new mechanic. Thanks Ginn Chevrolet!

A great, honest, and trustworthy garage for oil changes, brakes, air conditioning and everything else. The Gibbs are courteous, friendly and have a wonderful clientele. I only trust these people with my car. Tuesday is Ladies day for oil changes, bring it in at 7:30 am if you want to get it done.

This is my 3rd car I have brought into Gibbs. They fixed things other garages said they couldn't, got my repair done in ahead of schedule, and has been just as friendly as they want to be all the time. You can tell Gibbs likes to fix cars and help people. For several years I fought with problems with my 2013 Chevy Cruze which included a loud rattle as soon as the car was cranked. They fixed it in one day. Should have brought my car here years ago. The service was fast and friendly and what I paid was well worth what they fixed. Thank you Gibbs Garage. I will definitely recommend you to family and friends.

I give them 4 stars, because they did good works on my cars before. They appear to be honest people. As everyone knows, it s hard to find honest people to work on your cars. But they did something that I thought was kinda shady to me as late. They changed my drive belt on my vehicle. 6 months later, the belt slipped off the tensioner. I brought it back to them , so they could fixed it. After checked it out, it was concluded that the tensioner was faulty. Instead of tell me that, they figured it was better to conveyed to me that the car was unrepairable. They could go on and charge me for the new work, I wouldn t mind, instead of making me considering giving my car to a junkyard. I was very disappointed on them.PS, I went on, my brother in law and I, fixed the problem. My car is running fine now.

Great second generation family run business. Very nice and knowledgeable on all cars/trucks. They have fixed/replaced everything on my Nissan that needed it. They remind me of my father's family run mechanic shop back home in AL. Mechanics you can definitely TRUST!!

Gibbs is the best family operated auto mechanics in the area of Conyers!!!!! They are the most honest reasonably priced auto mechanics in the area and very friendly!!!!! I have been going to them since I moved to Georgia in 2008 and I even bought a great 2007 Honda Civic Coupe at a great price from them that runs great! I highly recommend them!!! Go Gibbs!!!!!

Very nice people but I didn't get my 2011 Toyota Camry repaired there because I was told it was my timing chain and they didn't do that here. So I took my car too another repair shop and it was my ALTERNATOR so thankful I got it repaired.

Not only do they not call before doing additional and significantly more expensive work, but they also drove out ALL of my gas, which they explained away as "Well, we had to test drive it and make sure everything was working." Test driving or not, a half tank of gas should not be used! Then they had the audacity to tell me to continue driving it to ensure everything was ok. If that's what you claimed you were doing in the TWO days you had my car, then why do I still need to drive it? Sure, they got it done quickly, but this company is full of crooks. They bait and switch prices, lie about what they've done and have HORRIBLE customer service. If you don't get the guy who condescendingly chastises you for not calling back in 30 minutes, you get the imbecile who has no clue what's going on and has nothing but "I don't knows" to offer. RUN.

Had a terrible experience with the owners of this Garage. Initially they appeared to be good folsk, but in the end, Gibbs turned out to be just like every other repair shop. Overcharging customers for parts and labor and refusing to stand by their work. Had them look at my 2005 Mazda 6 because I had a check engine light. When I brought it in it had diagnostic code P0455 (emission systems leak). After looking over my vehicle they assured my wife that the check engine light was due to a faulty gas cap, but I also needed front brake pads and a new drive axel. The diagnostic, service and parts came to $499. A bit pricey in my opinion. And my initial concern (check engine light) was conveniently brushed under the table and rendered fixed by replacing my fuel cap with a new one. Did I mention That I paid $78.50 for a smoke test to find a faulty fuel cap that turned out not to be the issue as they had diagnosed.Anyway I had the recommended services performed on the 8th of July, and 1 day later the check engine light returns. Anybody who knows a bit about cars knows that if you clear a check engine code without actually fixing the problem the code returns in a day or two. After bringing the car back to redress the issue Gibbs tried to charge me another $400 dollars to fix the problem that they had mis-diagnosed the first time. I relied on their professional opinion and they dropped the ball.and instead of correcting their mistake they pretended as if this was a new issue totally unrelated to the original check engine light 2 days ago. And here is the kicker, my wife asked for the "supposedly new" diagnostic code so that we could cross reference it...and guess what, it was the same code from previously P0455, they never fixed the issue. They just gave me a new gas cap and found a bunch of other issues to work on because it was more lucrative. How dishonest is that. Like I said, typical repair shop. Only thing they care about is lining their pockets.
