I went to get a new battery in my car. The next day i go to start my car and the car is dead. I pop the hood only to find that the battery was installed wrong. They didnt put the battery box or the hold down back in the car. The positive cable was completely off the battery. I had to call a mechanic out to my house which cost me $130 .I had to take the car back to advance auto and the manager put the hold down on the battery but i never got my battery box back. Im still waiting to hear from the head manager about getting refunded the $130 i had to spend the day after they installed my battery. Its been over a week and i haven't heard anything! Be careful and make sure whoever touches your car they know what they're doing!!!!

I tried to go into the Conyers location on Hwy 20 tonight 11/11/23. I pulled in and the lights were still on, store didn't close for 20 more minutes (got there at 8:40 and the store sign says it closes at 9:00) and I walk up to a locked door. Both women that were working locked eyes with me and neither would acknowledge me. I guess I'll buy the battery for my wife's car somewhere else.

This auto parts store has lazy staff. My wife visited the place tonight to buy a battery and they didn't want to change it. She went to Georgia to bring a car and had to return to Massachusetts

Really bad experience on this store, Jacob attended us, and if it were up to him, they did not have any product that we required (thank God we know exactly what we were looking for and we insisted that they did have it) on the second time we attended to Michael who had an excellent attitude and we he tried his best.

I went in to do a return on a thermostat that I had bought 2 or 3 weeks prior. I had not returned it previously because I did not have time and as most of you all might know they are only like 30 bucks. Well, I finally stopped by and the cashier that assisted me said he did not want to call me a liar but that the thermostat did not look like the original. I took offense bc those were not the correct choice of words and anyone would get offended for that. He had the lady in charge take a look and she said he was in the right to question it that he was just doing his job very rude. I understand that s his job. The way they went about it was disrespectful towards me as a customer. And in the end it was the correct thermostat and no apology from them. I was very mad. I m not desperate for 30 dollars and his choice of words was unacceptable smh I was very offended.

I spoke with VILLA about my brakes,OMG I LOVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE,REALLY PLEASANT AND BROKE DOWN EVERYTHING AND EXPLAINED IT REALLY WELL,I APPRECIATE THE SERVICE! GREAT JOB VILLA!!!!

I've been getting my car essentials and parts from this store for many many years. Every associate I've had an encounter with were friendly and were very knowledgeable and helpful. Not a question unanswered, which makes me comfortable selecting a product and making a purchase. If I am looking for something on the floor and couldn't find it, someone would always assist me. And, if it's not in stock, 9 times out of 10 there may be something similar or just as good as the product you're looking for. I never leave disappointed neither do I ever have to go to a different location to get what I need. I only go during the day because I get the most help.

They were so helpful. I needed a battery because my key fob wasn't working. The sales person was so kind that he googled how to change the battery. We watched the video so we could get a step by step instructions. Customer service like that is a lost art.

Not great, unfortunately customer service training is desperately needed. A customer should never feel they are an inconvenience, pointing to where you think idems live and then saying we must not have them is not an appropriate response. 3 steps to customer service 1train 2 re-train 3 replace, good people are out there don't always your business to suffer because of sub-par employees.

Bought some items for an oil change & personal car care. Staff was very helpful & friendly. However, there wasn't a lot of staff members there to help, I was just fortunate to arrive during slow business hours. Upon return to discard used oil I was shown to the dump tank & staff members were friendly once more. Only suggestion would be to consider more staff members to tend to the location.

I think he said his name was Marcus. Tall brown skin will glasses. Let me tell you, this associate was amazing!! He went beyond to help me. It started to pour down rain. He came out in it, and still tended to my car. I appreciate associates like this Thank you again sir.

I would like to leave zero stars however that is not an option. My husband and I stopped into this store yesterday to ask if the radiator he had purchased there had any type of a manufactures warranty. Once my husband asked the question the clerk started laughing directly in our faces and all he could do was shake his head. All we did was ask one question. The other clerk asked what he was laughing about so he told them we had asked about some type of warranty for a radiator. Our family owns several vehicles for which my husband does all repair and maintenance on. We were quite taken aback by the outright rudeness of both clerks. Today my husband went to another auto parts store and purchased a new radiator. The salesman at the other auto part store explained the manufactures limited lifetime warranty to my husband. I'm not surprised to learn that the problems with the radiator he had would have fell within that warranty provision but either your store doesn't honor the manufacturers limited warranty or the clerk just didn't want to help us. Needless to say we will not be purchasing anything from this store or any Advance Auto Parts in the future.

Good customer service at times. So often they're so busy at this location that it may seem at times that you're being unnoticed but it's just they're understaffed and really can't get 2 everyone in a timely manner but if u have the opportunity 2 go in when its not so busy, you'll find hospitable staff.

Very bad experience was going to switch my commercial account to them. And they are so rude I just walked out. Now I hope I never need an advanced auto parts store again in any town

Went in to buy bulbs for my car and was greeted promptly, but that's where the customer service stopped. I found the bulbs and while making sure they were the correct ones, two men came in singing a rap song. The employee helping me stops and begins singing the song where the two men left off. I was not asked if I needed assistance or tools to change the bulbs but every male in the back of store came to the front to assist these two men while myself and a another man were kind of left to our own devices. I did not appreciate it and will not go there ever again.

My husband called at 7:30 and asked about a radiator for our sons truck that was broken down at another parts store but they didn't have the radiator in stock and my husband told the guy at Advance that and the guy at Advance said they did have it in stock so my husband said I'm on my way. We got there at 7:50 the lights were on and a employee and someone else was still in the store the doors hours said they were opened until 9:00pm but they had printed out for that day they were closing at 8:00pm but the guy on the phone didn't tell my husband when they were on the phone. My husband and several others had pulled up because they too had called so we ended up still there at 8:00 when the employee and other person came out , my husband said I called about the radiator and the employee said yeah and my husband said you didn't tell me you were closing early and the employee said oh well sorry about that we closed at 8:00 today got in his car and left. Pretty disappointing..the time before that we went in and bought 2 oil filters and one of them was the wrong part but they insisted they were right so we bought what they suggested. And it was wrong so we had to go all the way back to get the one we said in the first place.

Purchased an alternator that failed a week later, had to have car towed to mechanic. After mechanic replaced the alternator I went to store to return the one I purchased that failed. I had store receipt and receipt from my mechanic. Store did not want to refund under warranty, employee acted as he was not able to refund. He advised that I could be scamming the store by swapping alternators, even suggesting I pealed stickers off of unit and placed them on another unit. Thank goodness an employee from another store was there to step in. As she was trying to help, the male employee was constantly saying it can't be refunded. After about 25 minutes of back and forth the refund was completed.Avoid this store, they do not honor their warranty.
