I took my vehicle to have the air and heat serviced. I received a call back stating that it was the air that needed repairs. I was also informed that I need rotors, brake pads and a belt replaced. I received a quote of greater than $1100. The rear break pads and rotors needed immediate attention according to person that I was speaking to. I said ok to the air conditioning, rear breaks and rotors. I had to call back 2 times to see if my car was ready. My second call was around 1745. I spoke with a female that said they had my vehicle on a test drive. She stated she would call me back. I advised her that it would take me a little while to get there and I was told when I dropped off my vehicle that they closed at 1830. She stated " oh no! You have to be here by 1815. You need to head this way ". When I was about a block away I received a call from the male that had been advising me which stated that the oil pressure light and turn engine off light was now on. I took my 2007 vehicle that I purchased new in 2006 and has 110,000 miles on it in to have the heat and air serviced and now all of a sudden it has an oil and engine problem. Well I just learned a $538.57 lesson. No you are not going to find out why the oil light and turn engine off light is on! You are not getting another dime! My vehicle is going to the dealer!. Please do not have your vehicle serviced here! ZERO STARS!!!!!!!

I was from out of town, and the water pump went out on my mMustang. They got me up and running in a timely manner, and at a fair price. As a retired automotive service manager with 40 years of experience, I can tell you the repairs were done cleanly and correctly. The staff was knowledgeable as well as friendly. I highly recommend this repair garage.

Very disappointed!!!!! White's Automotive is a rip off!!! Paid over a thousand dollars for repairs and when I pick upy vehicle my air conditioner doesn't work. When I left my vehicle in their care my air conditioner was in great shape. When I took it back and left it again, I received a call a couple hours later tell me it was working. When I pickup my vehicle .I was charged again because of someone else's negiligence. When I ask why I was charged, the mechanic tells me that their was no wrong with air and they didn't touch it.Liar, Liar, Liar!!!!!Please do not take your vehicle to these people, you will regret it!!!!!

Useless. Dropped off my vehicle at 7:30 am with a check engine light and sluggish behavior. Picked it up at 5:00 being told We couldn t find anything wrong, only for the light and problem to reappear immediately. Complete waste of time and absolutely no help.

After workin with these folks 2 days to get my truck worked on and have a rental car during the repair time I finally got it together today only to be given an old rental car with frosted over headlights that wouldn t have allowed me to see the road out in the eastern side of town. This was after they took a deposit, open credit card, next of kin, and employer. That older car they wanted $42 a day for was the same price as a much newer Hertz rentalCar.Then when that car was unsafe and unacceptable they wanted to upgradeMe to $54 a day for another older car, with worn tires that had less than 2/32 of tread in the center of the overinflated front tire. When I rejected that unsafe car the girl abruptly ripped my receipts out of my hand. So I I asked for the owner or manager. Well Ryan wasn t any better and in fact he called me vulgar names as well as making discriminatory and disparaging remarks about my age and physical features.Glad to have not done business with these discriminatory and vulgar elitists that think their cheap run down rental cars should rent at the same rate as Hertz. No telling what they do to customers that use their repair service.I dodged a bullet with these idiots!

10-2022Still the "go-to" car repair, oil change & tire place for our Toyota Prius family. Most recent oil change roughly $70.Honest, hard-working, good communication, professional.9-24-2019Called to make appointment for oil changeNo appointments: 1st come 1st servedROUGH estimate of $45 (varies by vehicle/year/make/model)Arrived approximately 2:35pm. Bays were full, several customers ahead of me in waiting area. I was pleasantly greeted by Amy (Good eye contact, "How can we help you today?" I replied "I would like to get the oil changed on my daughter's car."). Amy promptly checked me in; Amy entered my name, contact info, vehicle info, and I handed over car key.I took a seat in the waiting area. (clean, well lit, good ventilation, decent air conditioning, ample space/not crowded)While I waited I had opportunity to observe.-- Busy location.-- Phone rang steadily and was quickly answered by office ladies. (some calls for fifty cent rent a car, some for auto service)-- Auto parts and supplies dropped off steadily by several different suppliers.-- Customers checked out efficiently and steadily.-- Other customers dropped off vehicles for service/repairs.-- Customer dropped off payment/deposit on vehicle in lot for sale.Waited maybe 10 minutes, then car was pulled into bay by Jeremy. After a few minutes Robert came out to let me know how much the oil change would be ($45); he said if they noticed anything else needed to be done they'd let me know. I said that would be fine. They proceeded with oil change.Finished by 4:02 pm -- car pulled out of bay by Jeremy. No other work needed. 4:05 pm Checked out efficiently and cheerfully by Erica. Paid 48.46 with tax. Very reasonable.It was a bit tricky exiting from location (busy multi-direction traffic light intersection). I opted for right turn onto Wynnton and had no difficulty.Overall very good experience. I will go back for next oil change, for sure.Call first with questions, directions, hours.

I had brought in my suv to get it looked at and see what s all wrong with it.i seen some of the other reviews and honestly me personally I would recommend whites automotive Ryan was honest with me and always called before he was going to do something to the car and gave me a price on everything.and honestly the pricing wasn t bad my car just needed a new timing chain and for the ones that know lol that s pretty expensive no matter where you go.so I told them I don t have the money to get that fixed rite now and he was perfectly fine with that and they even towed the car back to my house for me.definitely would recommend.

I was very pleased with the service I received from this shop. Ryan was very honest with me on timelines, diagnosis of the problem and the prices have been fair. This is my second time using this shop once for my truck and now my wife's car. I feel confident using this shop.

As always, great service at a great price. They are up front with pricing and letting you know if there are concerns about your vehicle.11-9-2023 I needed an oil change, and one of my tires looked at for a slow leak. Whites took my truck in right away even though they were crowded.And again, great service and great price. I highly recommend Whites for your vehicles.

Been coming here a few years, but not anymore.I brought my vehicle in, after sitting there for 5 days before anyone worked on it, job ended up being over $1500. A couple weeks later I go to get an oil change at a different business and they found a LOOSE SCREWDRIVER IN MY ENGINE CAVITY. Now about a month after the initial work I'm hearing the same sounds I was before the job.I liked coming here and always trusted them with the work I needed, but I'm finding another repair shop.

Avoid this place if you are a Black woman. I called to ask if they had time for an oil change and once I got there I was told they didn't have time to do it, I asked what changed since my call and they couldn't give me an answer. Perhaps it was my skin...don't go here, you've been warned.

Can't argue with RESULTS.i came in a month or so before this anticipated road trip, with a rough idle, lean engine code, lifter tick and a few other issues. They diagnosed the issues piece by piece and Ryan kept me updated on the prognosis which I really appreciated. Since I do work on the Jeep myself as well I always REALLY appreciate a thorough explanation and person-to-person discussion about what the mechanics are up to. The engine sounds FANTASTIC and this baby drove like it was brand new... through the woods, plains, deserts, and mountains. I absolutely couldn't have done this trip without the SUPERIOR service from White's Automotive. THANKS SO MUCH!

Do NOT bring your vehicle here. My mother almost lost her life after taking her vehicle here. She heard some noise in the front of her car and thought this location could be trusted After waiting two hours, she was told that they didn t hear anything and that it could be the C joint in the car which didn t have too much to do with the issue she was even speaking about.She was told the vehicle was okay to drive, 2 days later she got into a horrible car accident and her front left tire flew off to the side of the highway. Apparently the lug-nuts were loose, but this automotive center is claiming they never touched the tires for the 2 hours that they had the vehicle.Clearly if this is the case, this place has horrible time management and is extremely incompetent. I will be sure to tell everyone about this experience because this place does not have trusted practices.

Pickup time was a little slow. However, that's not really a bad thing, all things considered.I got in the morning as I was told "the earlier the better" and was in and out in a little over an hour after not knowing what was going on with my car.Turns out my tensioner was loose, they tightened it up, informed me of things to consider, but nothing was an emergency yet.Overall, coming here off and on over 7 years or so? I have yet to be disappointed or unsatisfied with the service.

We were driving to Columbus from South Florida. Our power steering was sounding horrible. I wondered if I should take it to the Honda dealer but I knew it was going to cost big $$$. My son-in-law suggested Whites as many on post have had positive experiences with this shop. As soon as I brought it there Harold White, the owner, diagnosed the problem just by telling him the symptoms of the problem. Instead of a possible huge bill at Honda they charged 50 bucks. They are amazingly honest. They could have charged me much much more. Great great place

Harold and the ladies in the office are the best!! Once again they saved the day! I d never blown a tire before. One issue with EV s is that the lack of regular oil changes ect. reduces the regulatory of someone looking at your tires and saying you might want to replace them.Service: Auto tire replacementService: Auto tire replacement

This shop is one of the most unscrupulous businesses in Columbus Georgia. They're famously known for the "oh we also found this problem that's going to cost $3,000 and your car is going to fall apart if you don't fix it right now" tactic when you bring your car in for something routine. More than once I have seen people so upset with having been done over by this business that they have been in the median with a sign picketing and warning people about their practices. Stay away.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my Honda Accord to White's Automotive because it was staling & missing when accelerating from a stop or low seed. Got a phone call from the technician saying he could not duplicate the staling/missing when test driving the car. He said the valve cover gasket was leaking oil and that might be causing the problem. I was quoted $740.00 to change a valve cover gasket. Are these people serious, $740.00 to change a valve cover gasket that cost about $12.00 at Auto Zone and takes about 20 minutes to fix. I said no thank you. As soon as I drove out of the parking lot the car started doing the same thing staling and missing. From my experience, the technicians at Whites Automotive are incompetent and unable to diagnose, let alone fix issues you might have with your vehicle. There services are way overpriced. I later diagnosed the problem myself, the EGR manifold ports were stopped up. Simple fix with some carburetor cleaner $7.00. Car runs fine now. They will take advantage of unsuspecting customers.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went to whites automotive to have some parts fixed on my vehicle and I was greatly blessed by all the professional and courteous office staff, the parts that had to be replaced where safety issues and took some time to repair as I expected, I was there when they opened and repairs where done in timely manner by (Zach) he worked with a smile, needless to say I gave him little bit extra, while the work was being done Harold (the owner) kept us updated and laughing.The price was great!!!!Employees outstanding!!!Service with a smile!!!!Great job everyone!!!! Great prices. Professional staff. Easy going service. They get exactly what you need done without any of the other tedious irritations that you get from trying to rent a car anywhere else. Straight to the point and get the job done. I recommend whites to my family and friends every chance I get and will continue to.

Folks in the Columbus, GA area if you need a mechanic you can trust. Go to White's Auto! We have been going there for 15 years. We actually drove up from PC last night to have them inspect our Tacoma today. We want to make sure it is ready to pull our RV and travel. They are located on Wynnton Rd Columbus, GA. Tell them The Barros sent you! All of their folks are wonderful!!

What a find! I went to my dealership who wanted $500 plus to replace the windshield wiper fluid motor on my car, White's did it for 25% of that cost. Very happy, I'll be a return customer.

Have brought three different vehicles here for the past two years. They are always professional and don t sugar coat anything. They will tell you all that find and each time will assure the runs right afterwards. Never had a problem with their mechanic skill it s over the rest in Columbus area.

They came and towed our car at 8 o clock in the morning and were finished by four in the afternoon with it. Whites Automotive has been around forever! A Christian business that you can count on! Don t believe me, check it out yourself!

As soon as I walked in the front door I was greeted with a smile. I asked if they were a Christian based business and they stated they were. I explained I was having A/C issues with my SUV and they said they'd test it. Well a few hours later my vehicle was ready and working GREAT. I will be returning to White's Automotive for any future major automotive problems. I suggest anyone looking for a Christian based mechanic should consider White's Automotive on Wynnton Road.

I have been a customer twice so far Robert the tech saw us both times found him to be very professional and his honesty goes without saying,he has not only been very informative but has made my husband and I feel comfortable with the info he has given us we are seniors and disabled so we need to be safe on the road,we also found the front desk to be very professional only complaint is the restroom could use a little care ,a little paint and a New trash can is needed. Thanks too all the staff for the great job.D
