I purchased a 2023 Silverado from SONS Chevrolet well over a year ago. This past summer I received a recall notice reference the interior and exterior outlets required parts to make them operable. The notice stated parts were available and to make an appointment with my local service department (SONS) to have them installed.I made an appointment in June 2023 and was told the parts had to be ordered, the parts were currently on back order, and I would be notified when they came in. Around October-November 2023 I brought my truck in for an oil change and asked if the recall parts had come in yet. I was told the parts had not arrived yet. So far, this is all understandable due to supply chain issues nationwide with all kinds of products.On January 22, 2024 I stopped into SONS service department to see if the recall parts had arrived yet for my truck. As I stood at the service counter, one of the service techs called back to parts or the mechanics shop to see if the parts had come in. I could hear the gentlemen on the other end say yes, the parts for my truck were ordered under my name and were in. I thought, "Why didn't they call and let me know the parts were in", but great and made an appointment for January 26.I dropped my truck off at SONS at 10:00 a.m. on the 26th and roughly two hours later received a call from the service department. SOMEHOW the wrong parts were ordered, they were ordering the right parts this time, and to come pick my truck up. How does this happen?!? This is not like it was a recall specific to just my truck. This was a nationwide recall. I assume something came from GM to dealerships that said these types of trucks had inoperable outlets and these are the parts to order. I would bet GM doesn't tell the dealerships, "Look up the part numbers yourselves". How does that get messed up? As things have been going with SONS, I probably won't get a call when the parts come in (as they promised from the beginning, back in June 2023), and I just hope the right part numbers were punched into the computer. SONS Service Department is very frustrating to me.

Went here for check engine light on my 2019 Silverado 1500 Custom with 20,000 miles. At 8:30 AM, check in was quick and courteous, though only one of four desks were staffed. I was called at 3:00 PM to pick up the truck. Their diagnostic work determined the fuel pump driver control module needed to be replaced. The parts and labor were covered under warranty, so I don t know the cost avoidance. Checkout was similarly easy and quick.

I had an awesome experience buying my car at this place, and their service department has been just as awesome. I have been working closely with DJ about a recurring issue with my car. DJ listens to me, believes me that something is wrong even when my car is a perfect angel for them, and really does everything he can to help and make sure this issue is taken care of. He also encourages me to follow up with ANY updates and never makes me feel like I m bothering him. He treats my issue as if it were his own. Everyone has been so nice, but DJ is my guy!

These people are horrible. They have had my car for 2 weeks. Saying they re still waiting on parts. The lady at the front desk named Alice has a nasty attitude. I recommend somewhere else.
