Would not recommend. Safelite replaced my husband s front windshield on his Mercedes G550. When a round of storms hit the area rain leaked through the windshield and caused 13k worth of water damage mostly electrical to his vehicle. The store originally assured us the repair cost would be covered due to their technician s negligence during installation after sending one of their representatives to the repair shop to investigate . The district and regional manager went back out a week later to the dealership to examine the window again. They then decided that they won t cover the cost of repairs due to silicone being present. They stated that the window had to be replaced after their initial installation which is totally false. Then the representative told us the silicon could have been present when the Safelite technician originally did the install but he just didn t know or able to recognize silicone. Once again not our fault their technicians are not properly trained. Now they are refusing to pay for repairs. I ve called their corporate customer care line and the customer service agent telling me that the district and regional manager are corporate. I m just amazed at how this company is insulting my intelligence and refusing to take responsibility. Not to mention they came and removed the windshield from the truck and now my vehicle doesn t have a windshield.

Actually has a pretty good experience. Was sent here through my insurance company and they looked at my vehicle and actually saw that it was as bad as I thought. So they were actually able to fix my window for less than I thought and save money. Definitely recommend going there!

Sherry took good care of me and made sure my car was serviced on time per our agreed appointment. She is a great representative and the service rendered was phenomenal. I have a brand new windshield and it only took the technicians less than an hour. I am very appreciative of both the technicians and Sherry and will return for future service as well as recommend friends and co-workers.

I had my wife s car in the other day to get the windshield replaced. When I came to pick it up they said that it wouldn t calibrate so they will have to use OEM and I will have to bring it back again. Which is completely fine but as soon as I left a piece blew off her car. I have called twice with no return call and sent the email stating the issues as I was told to do.

This is not a dock in the repair. That was done great. It was the payment. I was quoted $80 off on my windshield online. Made an appointment for the repair a few months ago, but the $80 was never added on. When I called an asked about it I was told the manager would give me a call. They never did to which I m still waiting on.

Safelite AutoGlass in Columbus, Georgia will get the job done quickly with a smile. All the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. The only issue I have with Safelite AutoGlass is booking an appointment. They are so good that they are always booked and it is hard to get an appointment; therefore, schedule your appointment early. Had a cracked windshield going across 50% of the surface. They were extremely timely with the appointment and friendly. The reason for it not being 5 stars is due to not knowing it wasn t going to be OEM glass. And that there s pieces of the seal and trim sticking out on the drivers side. As well as my headliner now being frayed.

Do not use Safelite for your windshield/window repairs. Worst experience ever. I had the windshield of my 2022 Honda pilot replaced on 01/10/22. The wind noise from the replacement is horrible. The vehicle sounds nothing like it did before the repair. They have replaced it two more times and still can't figure out what is causing the noise. On Friday, 02/04/22, they did a replacement for the third time. The condition they returned my vehicle to me is atrocious. Both my insurance company and I have called Safelite several times. My insurance company called them 02/04 after the last repair and was told someone would contact me from the company on Monday. No one called me, so I called them. I spoke with two separate people and was told the manager of the shop would call me. No one called me again, so I contacted my insurance company again. They called Safelite again and was assured the district manager would contact me today by the end of the day. So far I have not heard anything. This is unacceptable and infuriating. The sealant is visible inside my car. It looks like there is hot glue around the windshield. One of the windshield wipers hits the side of my car now. The sealant is messed up on the top of the windshield, they got black sealant all over the paint of my car, and the original issue isn't even fixed! Do not use this safelite location especially if your car is tesla. My insurance together with my deductible paid a $1000 tesla windshield but they installed off brand windshield. Not just that, they cracked my top glass in the process of fixing my windshield.They said they will pay for it, and will order the top glass and will take 1 month according to Montes. I didn't get any call from them. I called them miltiple times and can't give me straight answer. Until I showed up, that's the only time i found out they can't order any tesla parts. I found a tesla certified mechanics and told them to just transfer my account, of course they will pay for it. This unprofessional service had caused me timely adjustments for shipping my vehicle because we are moving.So we transferred the service to Columbus Auto Glass (they are amazing by the way) and fixed my top glass in a timely manner. However, Columbus Auto Glass noticed that the windshield, fixed by safelite columbus, were not aligned and sealed properly so the wind is coming in. Also, they installed an off brand windshield. If i can give them 0 star rating i would.

After filing an insurance claim and having Safelite recommend by my insurance company I gave them a call. Figuring that because it's a national company it would be fast and accurate.The first booked appointment was pushed back because the replacement windshield was damaged.The second appointment was serviced by a fella named Eric. Due to my schedule I was out of town for the appointment. He called me to ensure that he could access my truck. After he left I received pictures from my neighbor of the shoddy work (pictures) done. I called and talked to the manager, Charles, who has set me up for another appointment later this week.As of right now Eric should be on his way back to make sure that my truck is at least waterproof until it can be fixed properly.Hopefully I can update this review with a happier end to the story.

The technician did an awesome job on my windshield. However, I'm giving this company 1 star because I can not directly contact the local store, and when I had to go back to pick up something I left, they had closed 30 minutes earlier than what is advertised.

i had an appointment with safelite today between 1-6pm, There was a no show, tech said he tried to call me but come to find out he was dailing the wrong number so bc of his mistake i can't get my windshield fixed. i will never depend on them again

Called, got a quote. Called us a day prior and said the price increased due to being out of stock. Cancelled appointment. Cost increased over 500.00 after waiting weeks for the appointment. Do not recommend.

Service received at the store was great. nice people and appears the workmanship was solid. 9 months after service, including paying a $500 deductible when picking up the vehicle, we get a call from a collection agency saying we never paid. Clear as day it was paid on the credit card statement. Clearly, Safelite's systems aren't up to snuff. For this hassle, I wouldn't go back

Safelite is simply the best! Michael just finished replacing the front windshield in my wife's 2020 BMW.. More than just the glass is the sophisticated electronics that had to be disturbed and recalibrated. Very impressive. As a professional myself, I so appreciate the professionalism and work-ethic that Michael brings to the table. We will motor down the road with confidence knowing that if another stone attacks our window that Michael and his team stand at the ready to make all right again. Thanks so very much Safelite as well as Michael for a job done very well...

Great Guys there. I showed up early and met a man named Michael Sanders and he took great care of my Kia Soul and replaced the windshield of my car, and was back on the road in less than a hour.... Thanks so much and I would definitely recommend them for windshield replacement.... :-) Had to post before and after shots.... :-) Thanks again guys!!!!

A rock hit my windshield in two places about a mile away from this Safelite. I have a dedicated company I use to repair windshields but I thought I d get it fixed immediately since I had the time. I hesitated walking in as there was a closed sign on the door. They were open but never turned it back around. The lady at the desk quoted me $180 for EACH chip. I very quickly walked my a$$ back out with my money. Outrageous for such a minor repair!If you need someone, call John s Auto Glass. I ve used them many times but didn t want to wait for them to come out as they are a mobile company. I called and they kindly allowed us to drive out to their home in Alabama 25 miles away. One of the chips was so minor, they told me didn t even need a repair. I was quoted $80 for both chips but it ended up costing me $40 for one and maybe two gallons of gas. Worth it!

Trash trash trash!!!!! My husband just had his windshield replaced and now he is having issues with the braking system. There were no issues prior to pulling it into the garage to get out the rain so the guy could fix it, but as soon as he finished he said, " the brakes are really hard to stop." Mind you, the truck was just serviced with no issues. My husband called the company and was told it wasn't their fault. Trash company with no morals and lack ethics. This is not over and the whole ordeal is on camera. Clearly, there wasn't anything wrong with the car prior to him touching it. Btw, my husband got home 30 seconds before the guy showed up with no issues with braking.Update: we took our car to the dealership and they stated that the guy who installed our windshield " definitely screwed some things up." Take it from us and don't use this company.

My daughter took our car to Safelite to get a chip fixed in our windshield and paid $138.70 to have it fixed and when I took it back because the chip was still visible they told me that it was fixed and but the chip would still be visible. This was a pure ripoff. I will never bring my car back here again.

Cody, did a great job with our install. The whole process was very easy from start to finish and the windshield has been great. Safelite was easy to schedule with and the tech we had, Cody, did a great job. He communicated well and was very efficient.

This is the second time I've used them and I've had a issue both times. The first time, back in 2020, the tech didn't know how to remove the driver side window and caused damage to the door. Finally got it fixed after MONTHS. Some time after that, a piece on the door came off and they stopped responding to my emails. Eventually, I just learned to live without the piece that came off. This time no one seems to know how to get my rear view mirror to stay up. Next week will be the fourth time that someone has come out to get this right. FOUR TIMES! The reps over the phone said that I could go into the Columbus location for repair. When I did go in, they sent me home and told me that a mobile tech will come back out. So, that was a 40 minute drive for nothing. No one knows what they're doing or even trying to figure out how to get it fixed, and no, I don't have time to keep driving to Columbus if no one will even look at it.

I had a severely cracked rear quarter glass on my Tahoe. I rarely drive this truck and I literally bought it as my retirement vehicle after the Army. I had a technician come to my house on Fort Benning to replace my glass thinking it ll be quick and professional without issue. It is literally the worse nightmare ever. I detail my truck every Sunday and I had 0 scratches/dents etc. the technician scratched my Tahoe up and left glue residue along with glass in my driveway. The rear inside wasn t even cleaned properly. I have kids and leaving glass in my driveway is a no go. I did contact the technician to let him know of the damages and at this moment I am currently awaiting to see what will be done about this.. I m very upset and disappointing with this installation. I will update this when I speak with management.*** UPDATE I was finally able to get in touch with management and she is taking the situation serious and safelite will pay for damages do to negligence of the technician. Handled very well so I can give a 5 star to that and a 1 star to the technician lan.Services: Auto side window replacement, Auto rear window replacement

Used them for windshield replacement. My wiper washer lines were not working. Went to dealer and they removed cowling. Tech forgot to reconnect lines after replacement. Safelite refused to reimburse me for the $60.00 repair.DON'T USE THIS OFFICE OR COMPANY

I took my car in for an 8 a.m. appointment to have the windshield replaced. That technician, Mike, came out and introduced himself immediately and told me that he would call when it was finished. He called me exactly an hour later, work completed, all of the safety systems recalibrated, everything was perfect. GREAT JOB! Exceeded my expectations!

Paid in advance for my application. They rescheduled my appointment without ever telling me nor could they confirm the new appt to make sure my glass would be in. Horrible service. They deserve 0 stars but 1 star is the lowest.

Very unprofessional, I was told by my insurance company that the repair would be covered 100% based on the size. Safelite in Columbus Ga is the worst. They did not even come out to look at my windshield before telling me it had to be replaced when scheduling my appointment. I asked the rep was the replacement also being covered fully at 100% and was told yes. That did not sound correct so I called back and was told by a Montez that it would not be covered and would apply toward my deductible. I m immediately upset because had I brought my vehicle in on the false information giving my the rep, they would have been able to keep my vehicle after I refuse to pay for the replacement they said would be covered in full. I got my insurance company involved to let them know this. They agreed to send a tech Laney who was also unprofessional by telling me she was losing money just to come look at my vehicle. THE WORST. So long story short. Repair has not been complete. All the negative reviews are true. Do NOT USE THIS SAFELITE LOCATION in Columbus Ga.

They replaced the windshield at Safelite in Columbus, GA over a month ago. They returned it with the rear camera system broken and my handicapped hangtag missing. They promised to immediatly order and install the backup camera that I located (on Amazon, which would have arrived in two days) on July 24th. I had to complete a theft report for the handicapped hangtag and will have to go and stand in line to get a replacement. WHO steals a handicapped permit from a cancer patient??????
