I gotta agree with the other bad reviews. Impossible to get in touch with over the phone and even when you do... go to Macon or Montgomery for big stuff. I ended up driving up to get a quote because i could never get in touch with the service team. Every time I called I'd get thrown on hold and forgotten.I had a rough idea of what a port side hitch install on a new car costs and was expecting 600-1k for not ordering it at time of delivery. U-haul (lose some clearance but still not a bad option) is only 500 bucks. Guess what Rivertown quotes me. 1,500 USD. They say it's a tough job and takes at least 4 hours. Okay. Well parts are 450. As quoted by their own parts team if i would self install. 1,050 is the leftover divided by 4... is your hourly shop rate 262? No It's not. That's 100$ over a Ferrari shop hour rate.You're just scamming me.I'm glad i called to other official Subaru service dealers. Macon said 850 USD tax included. Montgomery said 600. Guess where I'm driving tomorrow to get mine installed. Do yourself a favor and call around. There's a reason the Montgomery and Macon shops are both a 4.8Montgomery also said it's a 2-3 hour job. So even more of a scam. I'm reporting to SOA too, this is absurd. I've never see a quote this high. Google "subaru hitch oem" You're out of your minds.
