I'm a decade old loyal customer, bought my first brand new 49.8cc motor scooter from Harvey a few years ago. Harvey and his crew have always been there for my maintenance and or any issues where quickly resolved for the best possible fair price he could offer. I'd refer Rays to anybody friend, foe, family and all kin folk. Rays is the best in town for what they do. And they do do a lot.

I debated on doing this because I know it s not easy out there right now for businesses as far as help is concerned, but that s not on the customer. Rays kept my cart for 10 weeks with nothing accomplished. I was told one promise after another during the process of 10 weeks, that It would be ready at this time or that time. I was the one that initiated all calls after every 3 weeks of not hearing from them. There was not one courtesy call or an apology for my wasted time. You can choose your own shop, but me personally I do not recommend these guys due to allowing the customer to suffer from their short staff without honesty of that problem until after the fact. I picked it up after wasting my time and took it elsewhere. If they chose to make a comment on this review, it s only to save face and I understand their part to do so.

Ray's is great. We have an Janus Motorcycle that had an idling problem. Because it's an off-brand bike, none of the other shops in Columbus would work on it, but they all recommended Ray's. So glad they did.The guys at Ray's worked with the manufacturer, replacing the carburetor and tuning the bike. The repairs were extremely reasonably priced. The bike was better, but there was still an issue with the carburetor (quite possibly operator error), so we took the bike back. This time, not only did they deliver the bike to our home, but they refused payment! The guys felt bad because we've had so many issues with a brand new bike.Really - Ray's is good people.

Negative! I recently was looking for a company that repaired scooters because mine sat for years, then "Rays" came up.Rays is the reason my scooter does not run. I bought it brand new out of the crate a few years ago. After only two months the thermostat went out on it. The seller recommended Rays. The solution? cut the thermostat completely out and put an appliance on/off switch on the dash to keep the fan running. This was after I had already provided them with a phone number and web address for parts.I drove it that day to pull into work, and all the anti-freeze came out. When they disassembled the cooling system, they did not replace the gasket.Took it back again. Charged me $700 for having to take off all the fairings.Drove it home, broke down twice and pushed it home. Called Rays, they told me they would send their guy out and to leave the key...no one showed.I called and called....no return calls. They took the money, messed up a brand new 250CC touring cycle all for the low low price of $700.I do not recommend these guys unless you like being robbed. If so...enjoy, because that is what they are good at...not repairs.Oh, and the only reason they got a star at all, is because that is the only way I could post this. So glad I ran across this today.

I dropped off a little Dirt Bike on December 9, 2020. That had a carburetor issue, it was flooding out and because the carburetor was flooding out it was causing the Dirt Bork not to start. They had my grandsons dirt bike for 17 weeks and with no prevail, it still is not running because now the it not getting any fuel to the engine.I work out of town and I call and talk to Harvey and someone is working on it every time I call. Which is two to three times a week, and all I get is lies, and lies and more lies,.I would not recommend this place of business if that s what you want to call it to anyone. And if you talk to HARVEY all you will get it lied to and it will cost you money.Stay away from this business.

One of the very few places in Columbus that will work on Chinese-made scooters.Friendly service, but a few delays in obtaining necessary parts.Perhaps because of the Covid-19 "crisis."The shop did a Good Job installing the drive belt my bike needed. The mechanic also tightened the brake system. In addition to these services the mechanic also sealed the oil leak that had been an annoyance to me for the past year or so.A Great repair job that'll save me a Lot of Money on oil!!But for some reason the mechanic...or someone...saw fit to move the items I had in the rear trunk to the storage space under the seat. Can't imagine Why.And the cover that was around the ignition is missing, as well as the nice tarp I had attached to the top of the trunk with bungee cords.I called the shop about this and the manager called back to the mechanic to ask if the tarp was back in the work area.It was. Gotta pick it up tomorrow. This is somewhat annoying, to be sure. But at least this shop Got My Bike on the road again.I'm grateful for this.A recommended shop for All your scooter or golf cart needs...

I was told over the phone that what I needed was in shop. Drive across town, waited 30 minute's just to be told the one they had was to small but yet I was asked if I thought it would work... Well 1 of course not its smaller and second I came to y'all because that's your area of expertise. Then I was told he could order one for triple the price. Having it here and now doesn't always mean its a convenience. A week from them around 30$ or 2days from now for 7$ from the internet and yes that's shipping as well 7$. Even told these dudes I came to them to keep from having to internet shop cause I do not like it. But if I have to i will I don't need some small company trying to take a arm and a leg all while acting like they're taking care of ya.

You sold a 24mm chinese carburetor for 85 bucks that is worth 25 bucks online to a customer who has a 50cc gy6. The 50cc is uses 18-19mm carburetors. The 24mm is for the 125-150cc gy6 engines. When he told you he was having trouble with his bike, your instant response was, "the cheapest way is to get a new carburetor" and you sold him this, telling him it'll "go faster." No. There's no way it'll run at all, let alone fit the boots. And the only sticker on his box says "125cc"His vacuum line came off the intake manifold. 10 second fix.
